Magnificent property in an awesome area! I’ve enjoyed staying in the Soi 8 area back in ‘02, ‘03, and ‘05 (staying throughout the summers). It’s a great Soi!
That first drone shot out of the apartment was next level stuff, Jeroen. Nice! I’m just curious about that car park. Is it for the general public or something else? Very unusual for BK.
The canal is undergoing some major works. Been going on for a while now. Also in Lumpini they are knocking down the biggest building opposite the swiming pool. Its all going on. Soi 8 is great. Det 5 is a great place for a beer. Mate of mine lives on Soi 10. Views are not so good but he pays 23,000 a month for a similar sized condo. Sukhumvit Gardens.
Nice. View and size are perfect. For 73000 the facilities are a bit poor compared to more modern buildings, for ex the gym is outdated. But still this seems a great place to stay as it has character and charme.
Jeej! Je zet soi 8/11 in het zonnetje! Ik moet eerlijk zeggen dat soi 8/11 de leukste twee straten zijn. 8 is idd doodlopend dus heel weinig verkeer. Ik vroeg me altijd al af wat Lake Green was. Leuke video 👍
I guess people who like city life and all the pluses and minuses that come with it, this condo is a good fit. I think it is a bit pricey for what it is. I much prefer living in a house. For that price, I can get a pool villa with more bedrooms, more space, and even a garden. I am not a city person, and I truly do not see the lure of Bangkok. It is just another international city that has less to see and do than many other large, international cities. Having lived in various countries and talking to expats living in these large cities, I have discovered that they seldom escape the city to do much traveling within the host country. The difficulty to get in and out of the city, regardless of the type of transportation used, is just too time consuming and frustrating. Although they may have lived in the city for multiple years, they have seen very little of the country they decided to reside in. Whereas, those living in smaller cities or rural areas travel much more and have a much better understanding of the culture, traditions, and society of their host countries. As for this condo, if condo life is what you seek, it looks like a good option. Older buildings often have more space than newer ones. I love the balcony of the unit too.
I’ve been gatekeeping Soi8. I eat at The Brew House a lot. In fact I was there yesterday (Sunday) for food. Soi8 is indeed a great location, tainted by the reputation of Nana. It’s definitely a terrific condo.
It's a nice condo, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to live in a Thai city, especially Bangkok, The heat is often unbearable, it's over developed and overcrowded, the air quality is poor, the roads are dangerous for pedestrians, there's little public open space and little to do or see. And as for Soi 8, there's no footways as usual and it's narrow with plenty of traffic to dodge. You won't get 50 metres before there's several vehicles on top of you. Even the BTS and Metro are thoroughly unpleasant to ride because of overcrowding, lack of escalator capacity and an archaic ticketing system.
Over 160,000 expats live in Bangkok. So I guess there are plenty people that do want to live there. I love living in Bangkok. For every problem, there is a solution.
Hey Don! The gate of this condo is directly facing the incoming road. According to Chinese fengshui, this cul de sac gate will let the wealth of this building flow outwards down the road! LOL! Has the condo architect done anything to the design of this building to "avert" this catastrophic outcome? *wink*🤭
Beautiful, great location, but the condo, with its windows flush with the sides of the building, offers little protection against the sun. Only for the rich!
That really is a fantastic view and a smart renovation. The penthouse above looks pretty amazing with all of those plants on the terrace.
Very nice Jeroen. Thanks for showing us around 😆👍🏼
Always love your videos 👍
Good evening Don Jeroen! Great video!
Attractive👍. Thanks for the market update..
Soi 8 is a hidden gem in the Nana area. Some very good restaurants and very quiet down the end of the street.
Every video so Amazing congrats mate👏👏
I just left Bangkok, couldn't take the noise traffic and pollution.
Soi 8 is really nice, less traffic, the apartment and the view is great and the park in front is unique, the price is ok, 🙏🏼💯👍🏼✌🏼🎄🎁

Sukhumvit Gardens.
72,900Thai Bhat approx USD2130 per month ~ beautiful views and open space concept👍

Crappy pool too. Benjakitty parking lot lights are very bright.
Nice & a good Soi and yes fairly quiet .. if you can afford it I guess 😅it’s good
love your droneshots
very nice view
For an older building. I wouldn’t pay 72,900 baht, even if it has allot of space.
Wow!
well done on 103 k subs :) if i could afford it yes i would lol!

Ik vind Soi 8 inderdaad ook een moois straatje. Perfect om lekker te eten en het voelt niet zo druk aan.
Very nice condo. I love Soi 8, stayed at Adelphi Suites 2 months ago.
you remember what you paid?
@ 2,200 baht a night but that was in October and I think it is 3,000+ now
@@ViewTalay thank you
beautiful.

Do the Benjakitty parking lot lights stay on all night? Park closes at 9 pm, but I could see the parking lot lights burning brightly after 10:30 pm.
The park now closes at 10 pm officially. As far as I know they shut down the lights after everybody is out of the park.
Very nice😢
I was guessing 50 ~ 55K. Seems dear at that price.
That building next to that river next to green mile walkway that smells so bad
Don’t like the sliding glass colors but the view is great
The canal will attract tons of mosquitoes and yes they make it to the 24th floor! Too pricey for the one bedroom plus.

If you happen to see me eating there with my wife one time, feel free to come and say hi :-) Love Soi 8
Thank you and fantastic aerial shots. Just a tip though that I don't think your moustache suits you.
Haha, thank you for the tip ;-)
nice view but condo not $2000 nice …
How much is it to purchase, may I ask?
$2,000 USD its a no for me. nice apartment
for this 1 bedroom is like over 2000 us dollars per month .........I love the views but way to expensive
This apartment for rent or sale?

I could live there only if you and I are roomies Jeroen
Nice view but way too high for me.
Yeah, if you don;t like heights, this might not be a good option.
Nice, but not worth $2000 USD/Month!
I'm interested but my wallet said NO

Too expensive for that.
Price too much

Overpriced
