Good Video. We have had ours for 9 years, and it is now making the loud noise. At least one load per day minimum. So I will order the bearing kit and see how it goes. It has been a good machine up until now. Sorry to read so many had problems early.

On ours, the entire electonic control panel (the whole top gray box with touchpad) was burnt out so they replaced. Order took 9 days to receive part. Of course its during a pandemic, parts shortages etc so prices of course have gone up too. My husband knows nothing about electronics so add another 100. for service guy.
The repair did work. The service guy said these go out all the time only on the Maytag Bravos XL washers though not the dryer. Hmm 🤔 defect?
We are just 2 adults we do max 4 loads per week.
When this dies, will NOT replace with same brand. I want a full tub of water for all loads except rinse/spin and a center core agitator. These new bottom of tub agitation 2 cups of water for a load seems to wear out towels and shred tshirts quickly. So I always use the bed linens water depth otherwise its just sloshing around in dirty water even during rinse cycles. GROSS. I'll probably have to order the one I want from Mexico, they sell brand new but older versions of appliances because they don't have as strict power/water saver appliance codes there. Or at least thats been my experience of when there for extended periods of time.

Good to hear. Yeah maybe they updated the seal or something. I still hate the way this thing washes though. Ya know how the clean washer light comes on and the manufacturer recommends that you use the cleaner tablet.... does not doing the cleaning cycle void the drum or motor warranty ? If you know... thx. I know they wont know if Im using the tablet or just bleach but the heavy water load used in the cleaning cycle on the parts alone is a lot of unnecessary wear n tear, especially when manual says every 30 days. Everything is made to last 3 or 4 yrs, if that. Guess I got lucky.
Mine is barely 5 years old and already had the complete top electronic circuit board replaced.
Now mine is the Drive Hub & Agitation wheel (gears are worn down) need replaced now.
I wouldn't bother except that I paid 500 for the new whole unit circuit board recently. So now my $900 washer is up to $1400 and now the drive hub and Agitation wheel OEM parts, probably another 100. Plus M Y time.
Ugh. The laundromat is beginning to look a bit more acceptable now except the hood it's in. Whats worse tho? Hanging there or this POS every 6 months? The Drum and Motor are the only parts in here that are actually covered under the extended 10 yr warranty. Everything else... on your own $
