Knowing and showing how to get off the agitator and agitator auger is a good idea. Especially if its stubborn. We're curretly waiting on the stator. Good video though . Good job.
Your washing machine is very similar to mine. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I haven't heard what model it is. I have MVWB725BW0. I don't know if your kit will fit my washing machine. I can't even find my model number.
He has another video that's in the description of this video. On how to clean it. In that he goes through the process of removing the drum. Hope this helps
Great video, thanks for posting! I went through this repair; unfortunately, when I try to run a test cycle it kicks off an error code (F50) after filling with water. The motor wants to go, but the spin and agitate won't engage... Anyone have a similar problem? Any tips / tricks to troubleshoot? It's almost like it just won't engage with the drive shaft.
My maytag bravos xl is making a grindin noise at the spin cycle... but i see no swirly grease crap on the floor underneath it. Does dat mean its not the bearings?
We're having the same problem, actually it could still be the bears. In this video's case, the bearings AND the seal went bad, which is why there is all the mess. Once the bearings go bad, it can put more wear onto the seal and cause it to go bad soon as well.
A professional would use power tools and have the special tools needed. This person is Guessing. If he knew the correct procedure he would not need a car jack to force it apart. I know because i am a professional appliance repair person. Done this many times. This is hilarious.
Dude spent 5 min talking about tools and cleaning supplies, yeah doesn't show how to remove the top, the agitator and the basket/tub. Skipped the how to part of a how to video 😂
Man, I would have been lost..... This vid helped me all the way through... Keep them coming..
EXACTLY the how-to I needed for my MCT washer! Thank you!
sure did help when you spun the nut the right way
Super helpful video! Thanks so much for posting!

This is a great informative video that is really well edited and put together. How old was your washer before the bearings went bad?
It was just over 8 years old when the original bearing went bad.
helpful video. THANK YOU
This is not for amateurs or beginners. Very difficult repair.
Dude at 14:40 is tightening it. “Seems like I’m having trouble removing it.” At 15:20 after some bloody knuckles finally figures it out.
After install the shaft is a bit stiff and when I put bottom cap back on its even worse. Never simple lol
How about talking less and show us how you took it apart.

There is no such thing as a arc joint pliers, which he calls a vise grips. ITS called a Channel Lock Pliers. Please do not follow this video.
