My wife and I saw her a few months ago and was absolutely blown away. This woman is almost 70 years young. Vocals were ageless and all I can say is I wish I will have her energy at 70!! Neil on guitar was perfection as well. 80’s rock is my happy place!

I saw her and Neil 3 (I think) years ago and she was awesome. Could still hit all the notes she used to.

My wife and I were similarly privileged to see one of the last shows of last years tour. They were headed in two weeks to Cleveland to go into the R&R Hall of Fame. You’re right she didn’t miss a note tuns of energy and Neil still kills that guitar. Living Rock Rotalty!

@@michaelasay8587 honestly she sounded just like the album. I think the tickets cost around $75 CANADIAN each…great value for a concert considering what most concerts charge now!

Pat Benatar always stated that she would refuse a nomination to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame unless her husband (and co-songwriter)was nominated as well.
    That happened this year.
You should check out her song Hell Is For Children, an emotional song with a message that needs to be told.

They have checked out several of her songs but that song doesn't come up.
Nor do I see it under their channel listing.
The reactors Brad and Lex(and a few others) have done this song but nowhere does a reaction from Rob Squad show up.

Record her at a small venue concert a few years ago. It was her and Neil all acoustic setting. She was a little under the weather but never missed a note or beat. Neil was amazing as well. Took my and gf and mother who is a high fan to see her. Definitely my favorite female singer of all time. I'm so glad Pat and Neil got their dues into the HOF.

Pat Benatar is my favorite artist of all time and this is probably my favorite song of hers. The whole album is great. "Don't Walk Away" is another song from the album with a great message that really shows off her vocal range. All her albums were great. Even her pop albums rocked. The storyteller song "The Outlaw Blues" uses synth with almost no guitar and her vocals are just spellbinding. You can't go wrong with Pat Benatar, please do more!

My number one favorite Pat Benatar song, I remember working at the factory and when we all went to lunch I was younger so I couldn’t get in the bar ,but they would all come back lit up so I started taking my own six pack and I’d guzzle those cans down and then we go back and drive the forklift ,get everything ready so the Night Shift could load the trailers,We have the radio playing through the PA speakers and this song was all over the radio in 1988, back then my life was moving faster than a Meteorite, I lived and I learned from my mistakes, the deepest cuts were definitely healed by faith ,Sober for 4 1/2 years now and I’m in a much better place in time

I love this song too! We had the opportunity to see her live in 2001 at the LA County Fair and she can really belt it out when she sings! She rocked us out all night long! She's fantastic! I am so glad that Pat Benatar along with her husband Neil Giraldo were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last month! They deserve this recognition and much more! A bonus for us is when watching Pat Benatar perform live we also got to hear and see her husband shred on that guitar of his; OMG it is so awesome to hear him play too! Then next song YOU TWO SHOULD REACT TO NEXT by Pat Benatar is "Promises in the Dark", "Fire and Ice", "You Better Run", "Little Too Late" and "We Live for Love" just to name a few. Enjoyed your reaction! ☮💕

For more rocking Pat Benetar check out her late 80's song Invinvicible .
She also has some other songs that show the versatility of her opera trained voice . Her debut song We Live For Love where she sings high all the way throughout . A year or two after Kate Bush released Wuthering Heights in 1978 Pat did a cover of it . Kate's re- recording of Wuthering Heights (New Vocals 1986 ) for her greatest hits album is something you check out again with the knowledge that Kate is portraying a ghost, Cathy ( from the famous 1800's novel Wuthering Heights )who comes baçk to haunt the love of her life, Heathcliffe and Wuthering Heights was the estate she grew up on .

This was written and originally recorded by the Australian band Rattling Sabres. Kerryn Tolhurst, who was the band's guitarist, told us how this song came together: "I was in Melbourne, Australia in 1988 where I had a band called Rattling Sabres. I bought myself a new amp - a vintage Marshall combo - and when I got it home I plugged in my beloved Gretsch Nashville and out came this riff and chord progression. I had some lyrics kicking around with a working title "Working Against The Clock"... they fit perfectly.
The band then recorded the song and it came out as a single on the Mighty Boy label. On a trip to LA someone from Mighty Boy was playing the song to an A&R person at Chrysalis Records when Pat Benatar's manager happened to pass by. She needed a single for her new album and after changing some lyrics to suit her female point of view it was recorded and released.

Thanks y'all Great Female Friday Choice I think my favorite part of this one is the Lyrics of the Backing Vocals on the chorus... Just "carries" the song naturally.. Then same lyrics are toward the end when Pat sings all soft, quiet, then building to the Finish🎶👍

I saw her for that tour. It was the Wide Awake in Dreamland Tour.I saw her perform at Franklin Pierce College (now university) in New Hampshire on November 18, 1988 . It was a small venue (FPC Fieldhouse) and it was standing room only. I pushed my way up to the front of the stage. She still preformed like she was headlining an arena. Rhythm Corps was the opening act. Great show!

This was a definitely change, but it is one of my favorite eras of Pat Benatar's music: TRUE LOVE, Pat's full length blues album. You both would definitely loved this time of her music.
