Detective Pikachu will always get some respect just for being the franchise that broke the video game movie/adaptation curse. The movie was good, fans liked it, critics liked it, and it made a profit. Detective Pikachu crawl so Castlevania, Sonic, and Mario could run.

Honestly I know people are hating on this game because of the Graphics and say it should be on a 3DS but you gotta keep in mind this is on the Switch if your expecting PS5 level of quality your not gonna get it out of the switch I’m sorry it’s not the games fault so for people to say it feels like a 3DS game it would make no difference other than you can hook one up to a TV 😂 As for Story I genuinely think this is one of the Darkest Pokémon Games you got like certain lines alluring to Police Brutality on Pokémon, you got Mentions of Divorce in a Pokémon Game and you got mentions of Corruption as well so i don’t think a Pokémon Game has ever had any of those things so a lot of Mature Elements in this game that caught me caught me by surprise just the whole vibe of this game feels so depressing and I gotta give credit where credits due I appreciate this Mature Tone and willing to explore real life problems. And In a Pokémon Game so I hope this is a sign that they are finally agreeing Pokémon Games aren’t just for kids they are for everyone
I've been played Detective Pikachu a long time ago on year 2016, it's one of greatest 3ds games of all time and best spin-off game from Pokémon because it have even a voice acting what's so nice but it's sad Pokémon main series games dosen't have any of voice acting, in my opinion Pokémon games should put a voice acting since on 2016 in Pokémon Sun and Moon and 2019 Pokémon Sword and Shield where is rock singer gymleader and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet wherenis a rap singer gymleader, it's really weird main series games dosen't have a voice acting but Detective Pikachu have a voice agting defienitily in cutscenes what's nice. Detective Pikachu is my favourite movie of all time have been since on year 2019 when I'll saw it in a movie theater in first-eve and I got two Pokémon cards Detective Pikachu himself and Psyduck. After year 2019 I haven't been in a movie theater because then the pandemia came and it's still hard to go to watching movies because I live in a countryside far away cities where nearest city is over 30km away. About this video, Detective Pikachu is one of greatest 3ds games of all time, normally im kot drinking a coffee but this is a special time to drink a coffee with a Tim Goodman and Detective Pikachu and it's so awesome for Nintendo Switch Detective Pikachu RETURNS! 🏙🕵️♂️🕵🏻♂️☕️📒🔎🔦⚡️
I think the game is good, despite it's flaws. It's just what you do with it is what makes it good in my eyes. It hurts me greatly that some people think it's bad...
That's kinda how I feel about Princess peach showtime, the game was more of a "it was perfect" or "noice" game if you know what I mean but some people didn't find much enjoyment (shout out to @ArloStuff) because of its mind-numbing difficulty
