I just made these today using homemade plum jelly. Delicious ‼️‼️‼️. They MUST cool COMPLETELY or they will definitely crumble. Trust me. However, the crumbs are delicious too😂😂😂
@@GrainsInSmallPlaces the flavor was awesome but the cookie was very dry & crumbly. I think I over mixed the dough perhaps. I only made a few so tomorrow, I’ll add a little milk to see what happens. I’ll most definitely try again and this time not multitask and mix flour in just until incorporated
I don't own a pullman pan, so I just have the sandwich bread recipe, and many people use it in the pullman pan. For the longer 2 pound pan , you would us e the whole batch, rather than divide it into 2. grainsinsmallplaces.net/everyday-sandwich-bread-made-with-fresh-milled-flour-easy-recipe/

I just made these. I have a feeling they may come out grainy but I’ll let you know. Hoping for the best. I used strawberry jam.
Let me know, they shouldn't be grainy, unless the flour was not ground fine enough, or you used regular granulated sugar. I hope you love them!

I have been wondering if I could mix in pre-purchased kamut flour with the fresh ground wheat flour in a recipe. I had this prior to milling my own.
It will work similar in this recipe. In a blend it should work good. Using just that may be different in recipe than fresh milled kamut.
