Kaamelott is indeed the name of the show. A comedy version of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table as incompetent fools. Probably the most popular comedy show on french television. It's more or less fifteen years old but still regularly aired. If memory serves well a blu-ray version was made for Quebec and Canada so someone with any interest in a "Montypythonesc" vibe might find it with subs or english dub.

(I suppose you could say the same about the Black Knights color-wise, but I fear LEGO wouldn't revive the black with light grey trim look that made their old forts cool.) A Dragon Masters one would also allow us to actually army build that knight from that GWP from last year. Why is Kaamelott written like this ? The answer is : in french, there used to be a tradition of pronoucing english names with a french pronunciation. So many french people pronounced the name "Camelot" "Ca-mé-lo" 'the "t" was silent). Later, there used to be a tradition of trying to pronouce english names with an english pronunciation, which led many french people to say "engine" "enjaïne" because they didn't kno that there are many exceptions in english pronunciation, so some people said "cae-me-lotte" (trying to get th "a" right when in this case the "a" is pronouced the same as in french). So the creator of the series spelt it "Kaamelott" to be SURE that french people will pronouce it "Camelot" (the double "a" doesn't make the sound longer : it just ensures that people won't try to pronounce it the english way) ;) And the series is funny as hell !! You should give it a try ! :)
Be nice to have more sets in the theme at same scale as current sets, castle seige looks cool for me. Forestmen hideout as well, if same scale as knights castle and medieval town
The Galley is great. The forest castle, IMO, is significantly weaker than the 'Castle in the Forest' Bricklink did 2 years ago, so I think I can safely pass on that one.
joust would be cool, but replace the ghost as the old one is problematic even though I had like 10 back way when. a white/clear ninjago ghost would be cool as a unique to set minifig. or replace it with some other thing like a skellington. or hear me out, a townsfolk or two. one with a tomato throwing it at the losing knight and one in a stocks.
I like the seaside market and the forestmen fortress, but I'm not a fan of the bricklink ranges. They look amazing. I just wish Lego would make them as normal sets, not bricklink ones.
Do not submit to Lego Ideas, because usually Lego makes it into something you have not envisioned in respect to quality, style, looks, build fun and play fun but is only there to multiply Lego’s profit margins. Look at the abomination that is the Orient Express……
They should make a round table set with all of the knights and King Arthur in the style of the counsel of Elrond part of the big Rivendell set that is removable.
You understand that Lego only works with the Bricklink designers to ensure the instructions and "playability" are solid, right? They don't influence the final designs like what they do with Lego Ideas,
this is way to meany at once.. they need smaller castle themed sets nobody is going to continue to buy 450 dollar massive sets. and now there has been a huge castle set in every brick link series.. it’s too much
Wayyy too many castle sets, remember when Lego had a full line of Star Wars sets instead of a handful of expensive ones every few years? Wish we could go back to those days.
Castle garners alot of love from the +18 lego fanbase because of the creativity you can implement in set customization, the factions, and overall experience. My only gripe is the increasing cost of sets.
@@Pokemaster-rm7vk I'm sorry, but there are literally dozens of Star Wars sets available right now, ranging from as low as $10 to as much as $850... They have ships, they have battle packs, they have helmets, they have brick headz, they have micro fighters, displays... I understand that you don't seem to like the castle theme, but justifying that dislike of how many castle sets they are releasing by suggesting the Star Wars theme is offering nothing but a "handful of expensive ones every few years" is just plain inaccurate.
We must get a full theme. WE SHALL NO REST UNTIL WE GET WE DESIRE

Ok am I the only one thinking it? ...... Ok I'll say it then.
"NOT THE BEES!! NOT THE BEEES!!!"
It might be time to dust off and sell my lego castles from my childhood.
If you don’t want them someone will pay a nice amount if they’re in good condition 👍
I just wish these were more accessible.
A lot of them look nice. But I am not a medieval Lego person… so missing a bit of variety on both Ideas and Bricklink Designer…
PLEASE LEGO MAKE A BLACK FALCON KING
You can pronounce Kaamelott like usual, they just had to change the way to spell it.
Don't want a castle display set. Want a castle play set theme like they used to be
I want it all lol but then I'm greedy. But absolutely, playability was such a key factor of the old castles
Is that jack sparrow narrating?
you bet, savvy
This is dangerous for me dammit
Haha
Do not submit to Lego Ideas, because usually Lego makes it into something you have not envisioned in respect to quality, style, looks, build fun and play fun but is only there to multiply Lego’s profit margins. Look at the abomination that is the Orient Express……
They should make a round table set with all of the knights and King Arthur in the style of the counsel of Elrond part of the big Rivendell set that is removable.
nice thinking! It could be such an amazing set with great details like that
You understand that Lego only works with the Bricklink designers to ensure the instructions and "playability" are solid, right? They don't influence the final designs like what they do with Lego Ideas,
this is way to meany at once..
they need smaller castle themed sets
nobody is going to continue to buy 450 dollar massive sets.
and now there has been a huge castle set in every brick link series..
it’s too much
kaamelott = "camelote" (junk, trash)
I hate all the sets because I despise Lego Castle and hope there will be no more sets for this god forsaken theme. Otherwise good video.
And I disagree with everything you’ve said, but otherwise good comment
Wayyy too many castle sets, remember when Lego had a full line of Star Wars sets instead of a handful of expensive ones every few years? Wish we could go back to those days.
Castle garners alot of love from the +18 lego fanbase because of the creativity you can implement in set customization, the factions, and overall experience.
My only gripe is the increasing cost of sets.
❤🏰
@@Pokemaster-rm7vk I'm sorry, but there are literally dozens of Star Wars sets available right now, ranging from as low as $10 to as much as $850... They have ships, they have battle packs, they have helmets, they have brick headz, they have micro fighters, displays... I understand that you don't seem to like the castle theme, but justifying that dislike of how many castle sets they are releasing by suggesting the Star Wars theme is offering nothing but a "handful of expensive ones every few years" is just plain inaccurate.
Just bring back pirates. That's all I want. A skulls eye schooner re-vamp and some smaller sets. Please!!!!!
