They absolutely have to make a Muppet Labratory for Beaker and Dr. Honeydew! They could make the windmill that beaker gets stuck on with a rotating mechanism. I would pay whatever they asked haha!

The Bricklink sets seems to be much more playable than the other 😊 And price is much better than original sets

The constipation joke had me in stitches. I am so on board with you about the Twilight figures. Would it have killed them to add 3 extra minifigures? Why does LEGO feel the need to skimp on minifigures especially in special fan sets. I’m beginning to think they really don’t care about the people they are designing the sets for.

No not more flowers its like the Chelsea flower show. I agree Lego is for everyone, however, when I was growing up lego is for the imagination and these and many other sets cost a fortune... Me I have ASD and just like playing with Lego ( full stop) I hope Lego aren't scamming.. or capping... Or non riz !

I love the Brick Headz! It’s the first time I’ve thought of getting these just based on the design! It’s just weird how people can see these sets so differently. I’m not even a Brick Headz fan. 😂

the medieval seaside market looks so epic!

the only criticism I'd have of the Eeyore brickhead is the tail, while cleverly done with the 4x1 with just two studs, really should have had a silver 1x1 round blank stud to be the nail that keys his tail on!

Interesting how many reviewers think the Siege Encampment is the one to go for, when I think both the Seaside Market and Riverside Scholars are way more interesting to me. But then again I think Brickheadz are ugly, so maybe I am an outlier.

I am still hoping for the looney tunes transformers soon.

The Medieval Seaside Market could also be one of the BDP sets to sell out very quick. Don't forget that the build is modular, inviting you to build it in different ways, as well as buying a 2nd set and expanding the whole thing. The designer even provides a bunch of free designs/instructions for different modules and alternate builds on his Rebrickable page - which look awesome, by the way! 👌

That wall mounted Lego set is a fantastic idea not does it save shelf and table space. But it also has some playability. A few sets like this would be great for both kids and adults to collect. Being able to play with Lego sets on your bedroom wall. Or simply just being able to display your sets in a unique way would be amazing.

The jumanji set was the most convincing. Very little would need changing, it has the better of the elements, clear references and the house itself is just very pleasing.

As a child to teen of the 90s in the US, I never watched or really heard of the Red Dwarf show. Since then, I've only heard the name mentioned a few times.

Lol.. rather than a child size minifigures for Tom Cruise. I really like the X Files, the first Addams Family, any of the Jumanji board games and Hook sets.

The dividers in those “suitcases” can be moved and taken out. I have one of them from a long time ago and kept losing the dividers!!!

I love the X-Files submission. I would definitely pay for the Fifth Element Book Nook over the last submission with the elements, but if that one was released, as a die hard fan I would have to buy it. The jumanji split house would be on my wishlist along with the bign Aadams family house (1991 featured at 16:22)

Your constructive comments really mean a lot 🌟 To address the question about the One Piece set, I completely agree that it would have been much more suitable for the contest with a limit of under 1,000 Lego pieces. I originally started designing it for that contest, but when the "not yet official" announcement was confirmed that One Piece sets were coming, I was worried that by the time the 1,000-piece contest arrived, Lego Ideas might have removed the rights to post One Piece content. So, I decided to add a few extra pieces and post it as soon as possible so that, even if it has no chance of winning, fans could at least see it 🤗

Okay final opinion, both Wrong Trousers are great. I REALLY want the Truman Show diorama of the ending. Animaniacs is ok but I would prefer figs of them and Pinky+Brain with Modular compatible water tower. The Jumanji house and the largest game board are phenominal. Dexters Lab is awesome. There was smoother Iron Giant by Hachiroku that was WAY better. And Hook is my favorite movie of all time. I NEED A PROPER JOLLY ROGER WITH THE GIANT SKELETON, NOT THE MINIFIG ONE IN THE BIG VERSION THATS AN OPTION RIGHT NOW. A proper Jolly Roger would be a dream come true. If only something from my second favorite movie (T2) showed up as well.

Gimme a Lego Animaniacs Water Tower with a Modular comparable base for ~$150 or less and you get my SOUL

I love the Medieval Tavern/Inn but I don't know if I want it taking the place of other Ideas sets. A tavern or inn is something I've been wanting Lego to make for a long time since they made Lion Knight's Castle as I felt it would be a cool set to include multiple references to other old castle/kingdom themes while still continuing the theme of the current sets. Hopefully if it doesn't get picked Lego happens to make a new castle set themed similarly to it because I'm usually never lucky enough to get any of the Bricklink sets.

I hope Free Willy wins. That for me is probably one of the most 90s things ever that could be made into a Lego set. Others like Addams Family are great but Lego wouldn't want to release that and ruin their Wednesday sets' sales. Fifth Element is probably too mature for Lego. Wallace and Gromit would be great but I'd rather have a minifigure set and I don't know if it has a wide global appeal.

A lot of these were kind of disappointing sadly. The execution on some of my fav movies like Twister, Edward Scissor hands, and groundhog day were a little rough. Was there no Twin Peaks submissions? The standouts for me were the Adams Family house, many of the Jumanji submissions, the Muppets Christmas set, both of the dragonball sets with shenron.

Many of these are really well done. My favorite is the X-Files set, followed closely by the larger Addams Family house. Both of these franchises were some of my favorites from my teenage years. Thanks for the great review of these ideas.

The first Addams Family house is definitely top tier. I’d love to have that on display.

given how moulinsart handles Tintin, I would never try to suggest a partnership with them. It's downright impossible to make them grant any form of exploitation right to anyone else.
