It's the best this man had to offer. To copy this , requires such an intense level of emotion and commitment that rarely can anyone pull it off exactly. Thank God for Duane Allman, his music is still having a profound affect on people 50 years later. As a very proficient guitar player, I can tell you that this solo is genius. No one sounds like this today. Duane's sound is just incomparable.

Thank you Duane … thank you all brothers for your gift to us. I look forward to the reunion in heaven when we will all hear you play together once again . Rest easy 🙌
Actually Duane was 24 here. He was born in November 1946 and this was recorded in March, 1971. Gregg (Hammond B-3 organ player here) was 23 at the time of this recording however.
