This was so helpful and has given me confidence to lead a workshop like this. Language is super important and this technique is a genius way to get inspired and have a 'springboard into different conversations' with a client. I'll definitely be trying this out. Love your work, Charlie!
Amazing video! Thank you very much for sharing. I just want to ask, how do you charge for it? First you let them pay for some package (brand strategy + web design) and then you do this? Or you charge after?
Hi František. Thanks for the question. How to charge clients is worth a whole other video, but in a nut shell: I would first agree on the total project deliverables with the client. Based on this I would quote a total fixed cost. Next I would send an initial invoice that covers 50% of this total cost. At that point we would go ahead with the workshop process to kick off the project. Hope that helps. Just reach out if you need more info 👍
Looks like I'm late to the party, file was deleted it seems? 😮 Great video and exercise, thanks Charlie. I implemented a smaller, worse, version of this before with someone but this is superior, I'll be changing my approach.
Delighted to contribute to this great channel. Hope you guys find this exercise helpful. Be sure to let me know when you try it! Cheers!
Super helpful and clear information, can't wait to try it with my next client!
Great exercise, Charlie. Thanks for sharing and your portfolio is next-level. Love it.
