I didn't realize the importance of a flared magwell until I tried a lower without one. Found my self constantly mashing the mag into the sides of the magwell or the mag would be getting caught at weird angles against the narrower opening. Definitely interested.
That is a matter practice. I have a milspec setup excluding a bad lever. Mags go in best when you 1-practice and 2-orient the mag to match the mag well of the rifle. Yes a flare helps...mostly in comp due to the idea of ounces = lbs. my 16” 223 wy build LOADED is 7.2 lbs with a 15”hand guard. Now take a gucci rifle for a 10 mile walk with your 45lbs of gear on your back. That 9lbs gun is gonna suck after the first mile. Just a tip buy mags and ammo. Dont go for gucci...cuz then you can get good
Spend your money on ammo and practice until your reload is 3.5sec or under for a 1r1. Then maybe add a mag well yo. Not a scratch or sign of wear on that pig.
I'm glad I have a 3d printer! That is garbage for $30. And it has terrible print lines.. screw that jazz. Literally will cost me $1.00 to print. And I just found the files online..lol

just got mine in black. they recommend a gel super glue for the screws instead of loctite. what do you use?
Vibra-Tite VC-3 should work just fine. Let it dry on the screws before installing.
