    Thank you Dr. Jude. We have a High School senior who will be leaving home and going off to college in a few months. Since a young boy he has wanted to be a Dr. in recent years he has focused in on becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon. We are proud of his accomplishments but really want him to achieve his goal and desires. I have watching your videos and sending a few to him to watch and prayerfully they will resonate with him and help him to stay focus on his dream. As his parents we have done what we can to directly help but we know that our efforts are only so much. It will ultimately be up to him. He is smart enough...now its discipline and stamina that he will need too. Simply, Thank you for your videos. for it takes A Village! Continued Blessings to You and Yours. 😃😇

    Hey! :), I've seen your video about a trauma surgeon day like. I have been searching and looking for some answers to my questions.
    1. As a trauma surgeon(or any physician for that case), do you "get used" to it? Like I've spoken with an ER physician and he said that some time after you just become cold and get used to it.
    2. As a surgeon, you works around 70 hours per week isn't? ofc you love it, but do you have time for you self every day? or just in vacations? do you have time for training or watching movies?
    3. If you could take the time back, Would you go to med school, become a physician, a surgeon? spend 15+ years learning? would you do the same "way of life"?
    thx! :)

      Hey Meagan, thanks for your comment. I did it my final year of medical school. It was a sub-internship, which mean it was really hands on. You effectively work as an intern. So lots of ward stuff, lots of operating and clinics etc. Its a way to get great exposure.

      Kayla P I mean I’m from the UK and in year 10 (grade 9) but I’ve spoken to surgeons and try to get work experience if you can, I know here you can’t go in a hospital until your 16 but volunteer with nursing homes/assisted living, get in contact with surgeons and arrange things for when you’re older. There are also like courses and things you can do for younger people so try and find information like that. But also as previously said just work hard at school and get good grades, especially in science, English and maths. Hope this helps a bit!

    Hey Dr.Jude,
    I’m currently styling finla year mbbs.I would like to become a surgical oncologist.I have some doubts

      @DRJUDE  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont actually know the answer to that, best to speak to one of the general surgeons at the hospital where you are trainnig
