I love how he says ‘everything is favourable for that’ when he explains the procedure to the patient. He doesn’t say ‘it will be perfect and there is no chance of complication’. MoMo_ Beatz Then know that you’re much stronger than most to be able to live through depression. That in itself is a tougher battle than that on the battlefield or in the operating room. To crawl out of bed everyday, to admit you’re not feeling yourself, to question your hope, but then to look up and pray to God, or speak to your soul, or the universe (the truth is in all of these together) - that in itself is proof that you won’t be depressed forever. I can’t tell you to believe in God - that is up to you - but as someone who has been living with mental illness, I encourage you to find hope in something or someone, and to realize that you’ve been entrusted with a battle that is only there to strengthen you, not to torture or destroy you. Just wanted to let you know that you have my respect. Depression is harder than any career, but if you couldn’t defy it, it wouldn’t have come to you. Wishing you peace and strength.

these old school surgeons have done so many thousand operations, they are being sincere when they say that they do the sequence in their minds. i knew a heart surgeon like this, he would even put unbelievable complications just to make his mind work how to work around the problem. dude was awesome. also he quoted "being a good surgeon is to know when to perform surgery and when not" not every case can be operated. he didn't put his ego above the patient's safety and wellbeing.
“Patients are typically nervous before surgery, and it’s understandable. But I always tell them that I’m not nervous.”

Thank you for this comment. In my opinion I suggest that content like this should be spoken about openly. In July 2020, I found a Rosaline Diabetes healing comment through (Google/Facebook: @ "Molemen Herbs”) I read that article from end to end because everything the writer was saying concerning reversing Diabetes permanently made absolute sense. Although I was skeptical of the treatment process, after 21 days of using these products, I tested negative to Diabetes disease. I urge you to try this product if you need help. Google; Molemen Herbs to find more information.

I'm pretty sure those colleagues are residents or fellows, so it is expected for them to show respect to the attending.
I love how he says ‘everything is favourable for that’ when he explains the procedure to the patient. He doesn’t say ‘it will be perfect and there is no chance of complication’. As an expert, he knows that even if he encounters a complication, then he is good enough to deal with that. That’s the sign of someone who is the best in the business.
I think what he meant by that was that doing a 2-inch incision was the most favorable method to fix his artery.

"I've never bored a single day in my entire career"
The dream words most of us will never get to say.
@tyvek05 not unless u have depression and have nothing in ur life 😒💔
I'm a pilot. So I can say it.
@tyvek05 you are lucky. My dream is to become a videogame streamer and entertain alot of people that way I could make a living off it but unfortunately it's not a career just a dream so I'll settle for more realistic goals like a construction worker.
@tyvek05 Not everyone has the privilege to start a new life because they're bored, disabilities, health, economy, taking care of someone else... Most people simply cannot leave everything behind and that's why op is right, most of us will never be able to say those words

@@tobiasbrunner4720 True but 6AM is pretty early for most people (even though that's normal in my job as well). The other part we don't see is that many doctors don't work all week, they work like 3-4 days in a week. The downside however is that good doctors spend a lot of their free time reading up to improve their practice, or thinking about bigger cases where they have to make big decisions. Also doctors get sued a lot by dishonest people who don't want to pay, or people who believe their doctor screwed them over if the treatment doesn't work out well.

Amazing that a whole day passes in 4:15 for heart surgeons
This doctor has such a calming voice and presents confidence in his bedside manner. This must help his patients feel less stressed.
Most surgeons talk like this because their brains are in theta. The same waves you're in during sleep or in deep meditation. Also psychopaths are in this same wave. Psychopaths and surgeons can both cut someone open with no emotional attachment and then go home and live a normal life. Watch any video of a surgeon they talk low and slow.
