Adquiri um recentemente . é muito útil no dia dia da oficina por ser compacto e facil de usar. easy-to-use . congratulations gtc505
Will it work the same on either a 2 or 3 wire coil on plug?
HELLO GOOD AND PURCHASED A GTC 505 BUT DO NOT BRING RAMP TIME THIS BRINGS DWELL. DOES NOT BRING THIS FUNCTION.....
Hello Gustavo,
The GTC505 automatically detects which tip is connected, and displays 'ramp time' for coil-on-plug systems or 'dwell angle' for spark plug wire systems. This is because COP systems are usually computer-controlled with a fixed time, whereas SPW systems usually control coil build-up by using the distributor cap, which is angle-based. Ramp time is not very useful in systems controlled with a distributor, and dwell angle is not very useful in systems controlled by a computer timer. If you have any questions or concerns about the GTC505 Engine Ignition Analyzer, please contact us directly at 1-800-440-5582, or techsupport@gtc.ca, we would be happy to help in any way we can!

@@generaltechnologiescorp.3852 When I click on the “MODE” button on the GTC 505. I am seeing “Burn Time, Nose / Kick, Tachometer and Voltage”. I am not seeing the “Dwell ” option or the “Ramp” option on the GTC 505 instead I am seeing “Nose / Kick”. Is my GTC 505 defective?
its very fast
