How do you use parade mode?
The parade function works in a similar way to the comparison function: Press the "VIEW" button and select "Parade" from the menu, then press the "HOLD" button to stop acquiring a waveform, press once the "HOLD" button to start and press it again to stop acquiring a new waveform. Every time this procedure is repeated a new waveform is added to the parade, for up to a maximum of four color coded waveforms. If more than four waveform are acquired, the newer waveform will replace the older one.

I have been in the electrical game for 30 years, I will never use my body to make a return path even if it is micro or pico amps, that’s just not right.
Will it work the same on either a 2 or 3 wire coil on plug?

Hello Gustavo, The GTC505 automatically detects which tip is connected, and displays 'ramp time' for coil-on-plug systems or 'dwell angle' for spark plug wire systems. This is because COP systems are usually computer-controlled with a fixed time, whereas SPW systems usually control coil build-up by using the distributor cap, which is angle-based. Ramp time is not very useful in systems controlled with a distributor, and dwell angle is not very useful in systems controlled by a computer timer. @@generaltechnologiescorp.3852 When I click on the “MODE” button on the GTC 505. I am seeing “Burn Time, Nose / Kick, Tachometer and Voltage”. I am not seeing the “Dwell ” option or the “Ramp” option on the GTC 505 instead I am seeing “Nose / Kick”. Is my GTC 505 defective?
