I am dissapointed that you have to put this title on your video and why Cape Verde needs to be “portrayed as European look alike” no…. Cape Verde is not European, it is Cabo Verde. It has 10 islands and all of them have their uniqueness. Actually they have it all…. mountains, nature, city life, dunes, desert, beautiful beaches…. Cape Verde is a gem, Cape Verde has beautiful people, Cape Verde as the best weather, no malaria, no dengue, no mandatory vaccines… and please don’t only go to all inclusive hotels…. rent a small hotel, an apartment, food is relatively cheap and you experience the real traveling. I will always remember the words of my friend Kaka from the island of Maio. Gracia don’t go to a AI or very touristy island, because you will always be with europeans. he was right
U are right but u have to understand Africans bcz CNN and BBC didn’t show African beauty they always hide an peoples allover the world believe that Africa has nothing
Cabo Verde, an awesome place but invaded by European tourists not because the locals don't care but for the VD under the sun. Now the situation is that they can control the country by money right? That's the F*cking game! And create business, build hotels etc. The power of money by the West! So why Africans didn't invest there and tourists come there before the West instead to go in European countries all the time for fun? So dear Africans as an African I tell you: don't cry and blame our bro if he puts down a satirical title that makes sense! Is the volume right? By the way, good sensibilisation bro for the majority of our brothers being always in the darkness of our resources in africa 😉! I was passing by🚣♀️

40 years ago my cousin and I were at a night club in Boston and a white guy asked us if we were from Cape Verde. We could'nt understand why he asked us that. We never heard of Cape Verde, we are Jamaicans. I later met a coworker from there and I understood why that guy thought we were from Cape Verde after I learn about her people.
I'm also Jamaican...well both parents born in Clarendon, me - born and raised in the UK. I also had very little idea about Cape Verde, but went there for a week in Jan 2023. What a nice place! Before, I would fly down to the Caribbean most winters, mostly but not all the time Jamaica. Cape Verde is a good alternative. The flight time is 6 hours as opposed to 9 to the Caribbean, it is less crowded that the Caribbean and the beaches on Sal are just incredible, simply mind blowing. I'm going again in May 2024......

If many of these countries provided the same financial opportunities that are in the west, many people would never migrate to the UK, USA, Canada or Europe Many are leaving beautiful countries, lovely climates, great food and amazing culture to migrate..its literally for material opportunities
Most Africans minds are still colonized, even as they try to look down on us in the USA. But, that's the trick of "Psychological Colonization" to look down on another group of Black people, to be looked at more favorably by Europeans....

Big up
one of the best videos I have seen for years. So well done
I started watching around 23k views now am done watching around 26k views, you rock man, welldone
I loved this episode the history ,the architecture, the people ,the food and the cinematography ,it is so perfect ,love from 🇹🇿 will sure visit the village ❤❤❤
I must visit the beauty.
I always knew that Cape Verde is one of Africa's underated countries
Aw yiu sure it is an Afrucan country? What do the people say?
I'm a Jamaican 🇯🇲 living in 🇬🇧 uk I hope I will be able to visit there, as well as othe countries in the motherland some day
I'm Cape Verdean living in London and I've taken many of my Jamaican friends to Cape Verde, they were enchanted and they want to go back 😅
West Africa is beautiful
It always amazes me when the locals say stuff like "They don't know we exist", "The Africa they don't want you to see", etc. It's 2024, not 1964. People are traveling, vlogging, blogging & the info is available @ our fingertips.
Agreed. When ANYONE says that. It's also a bit egotistical. Most people DON'T CARE that you exist. They're simply getting on with their OWN lives.
Dawg you can see where we Caribbean people came from Africa so beautiful
beautiful video as always. some pple made strong observations, hope you've been attentive.
Your videos are always top-notch! Thank you Bro!
I appreciate that!
Carbo Verde is a beautiful West African country. The former governor of Edo State in Nigeria 🇳🇬 married a very young and beautiful Cape Verde lady, that caused a lot of controversies years back.❤❤❤
I think it’s Ethiopia lady

I've been to Cabo Verde once and it was one of my best trips ever. Kind people, beautiful landscapes, delicious food!
So good!
The title of this post is just rooted in a colonized mindset.
Exactly, as his fan extremely disappointing!

This is ABSOLUTELY a GREAT video Steven. Thank you for showing us this GORGEOUS gem in AFRICA 🎆💕
Wao added in my list of my tourism destination, sending love from Biafra Nigeria.
Nice, I love Biafra. You are welcomed to come to cape Verde.
I saw videos with magnificent mansions in Nigeria, is it possible for Nigerians to come to cape Verde to built the same kind of millionnaire luxury mansions? In Airbnb they can be rented to European tourists for 1000 EUR per day.
Awesome! Thank you!

I think laughing at the prisoners for the length they survived in the camp was quite insensitive.
Hello I liked all untill that part where both are laughing about it ,same on both of them.
I was watching the video on a television where I couldn’t read the comments. I had to use my phone to see if anyone commented about that insensitive moment where he laughed about someone surviving for 2 days. To say the least, I was disappointed.
BEYOND insensitive.. I was mortified..
That was very insensitive, I would think he knows better and to the Lady/Guide, those prisoners are the reason why you can walk around free today and have an opinion.
I felt shame as an African having two young Africans laughing hard at death. Shame on them!
Boss always anticipating to your notification.
Stories of slavery will always make you remember the pain our ancestors passed through for us the generation to have a wonderful and beautiful life to live.
Ive always had a soft spot for cabo verde ever since I started enjoying the music of Cesaria Evora , amazing traditional musical culture of morna and coladeira. That unique mix of portuguese criol and african beats is something to behold!
Beautiful content my brother. Keep motivating us. Much love love from South Africa, Benoni
Beautiful Africa. Thank you for sharing

I was born and raised in cabo verde.i learned alot from your videos
I am dissapointed that you have to put this title on your video and why Cape Verde needs to be “portrayed as European look alike” no…. Cape Verde is not European, it is Cabo Verde. It has 10 islands and all of them
have their uniqueness.
I was passing by🚣♀️
@@juliaogandaga3802 its was not invaded by europeans, it was created by them the portuguese
Africa is diverse simple….it doesn’t need a European label to make it good…just be proud of our rich heritage…you don’t go to Portugal and see the Moorish architecture and say oh this is so African….i have said enough….
it is european
One day I will try to travel to this beautiful country. Much love from Burkina Faso 🇧🇫♥️
I hope so too!
You will! We your sisters and brothers from Cape Verde are very proud of what you are doing overthere in your country Burkina Faso for your country and Africa as whole ❤

Africa is beautiful, Cape Verde see you soon.
Steven!!!!!! #YoureBack....❤
I never went anywhere
Thank you very much for this clip. ❤❤❤ From America.
Africa is Africa must not be compared with Europe.Africa is blessed 😇 even European know that.there’s no Europe in Africa.Africa is blessed with everything 🙌🏾
Yeah hey i just wonder until when everything that is beautiful in Africa must give praises to the European that's why the Europeans think they own us we don't belong to them and never we belong to mother Africa ❤️🇿🇦
why do you hate Europe but you migrate here?
@lolicon4
The reason why many migrate is because there are more monetary opportunities.
If many of these countries provided the same financial opportunities that are in the west, many people would never migrate to the UK, USA, Canada or Europe
Many are leaving beautiful countries, lovely climates, great food and amazing culture to migrate..its literally for material opportunities
@@sabelohlatshwayo 🫶🏼🫶🏼
So true. Africa for Africans.
All the Europeans escape their shitty cold weather and try to label Cabo Verde as "European" lol. white people..
Seriously! Your mind is still Colonized .
Most Africans minds are still colonized, even as they try to look down on us in the USA. But, that's the trick of "Psychological Colonization" to look down on another group of Black people, to be looked at more favorably by Europeans....
Yes!
Yup it’s digusting
Nigerians are heavily colonized
Im sure it’s even more insulting how he likes all the comments that are complaining 😂. The never of this coward
You've disrespected the people of cape verde with that title!,its nothing like Europe its just a beautiful and wonderful place and its Africa, Africa is fhe beautiful continent.
He doesn’t care. He even liked your comment. 😅
There's alot amazing in this African country..i die to visit one day..too natural mama Africa.. Thank @steven ndukwu
Incredible adventure for you Steven. A trip to Cape Verde also Known as Cabo Verde 🇨🇻
Looks like a place to put on our list, enjoyed watching. Great quality video. Love from Barbados ❤
Thanks for watching!
Africa is extremely beautiful… if we can explore and develop our resources, cub insecurities, and tell more stories like this to the world, we would have the Europeans rushing in to our continent . Cape verd is top on my travel list!! And yes I don’t plan to travel there with any lady… If you know 😅😅 Love your content Steve ❤
@Steven Ndwuku please change the title of this heading, that's all we are asking for. That said your content is top notch!
The beautiful gyals them i saw at afcon was all i needed to know that Cape Verde is now my dream place
😂😂 same bro
Me too
These "gyals" are belong to SampaJew ethnicity, they do not consider themselves to be Africans and are racist against Afro-Cape Verdeans.
Lol, they are very attractive when they are young but from the videos I watched they did not age well, once they hit the wall they are average ''mama'' (and capeverdean woman have reputation to be highly skilled at nagging their man)
These "gyals" are belong to SampaJew ethnicity, they do not consider themselves to be Africans and are raysist against Afro-Cape Verdeans.
This video title is the most disrespectful title to Africa, we wonder why people don't respect Africa
It’s weird how you’re proud to know there’s a European country in Africa. You seem almost elated and giddy, like it’s a good thing for Europeans to control an African country.
Stop getting into your feelings he said nothing wrong

Hi Steven!
Cape Verde ranks number 1 among all African portuguese countries: Angola, Mozambique, Guinea, Sao Tome... and it is due to good governance.
Well done Cape Verde.
Greetings from Angola
They are not Portuguese , they are African.
@@faa9261but they are ex-portuguese. also, as a European, i don't see negative effects of colonization.
thats cos you are a european and ont see anything, many negative effects@@lolicon4
@@lolicon4No we are not Portuguese country. We were colonized with meant stolen and brutalized. You are very arrogant stupid and ignorant to think that is good thing. This is so beautiful love from Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬
Very insightful film! Many thanks for sharing this.
The horrors of the "Slow Death Camp" are etched in history. Mosquitoes relentlessly tormented the prisoners, while doctors served as grim harbingers of death, not healers. These brave souls, politicians who dared to defy colonial rule, endured unimaginable suffering for a better future. Their stories deserve to be known. #Frigideira
Confining these political prisoners to sweltering, airless rooms or cages under the scorching sun goes beyond cruelty.
Laughing about this from @25:57 appears a mockery of their sacrifice.
These 2,824 individuals faced horrific deaths in the pursuit of freedom. May their memories be a blessing. Amen. #RIP
