So he sent down a delegation that met with the paramount ruler of Ilaro where they were received and acknowledged by being given yoruba names to connect them back to motherland. The people of Barbados have a very strong link with the people of Ogun state unknowingly to many of them

The people of the Caribbean including Barbados are a Strong mix of African, plus the East and Caribbean Indian and also AMeri Indians and White but also some Chinese mix you will see as well A lot of that mixing came to happen through SLAVERY In the Americas or what is also known as the WEST INDIES!!
