the antenna in the front is for the radio, the short one in the back is for the OnStar. Quality things you need to look for in a used HHR, Warped front rotors, loose lower control arms in the front, the struts only last about 50,000 miles so you want to get them checked, it's getting recalled due to the faulty ignition switch. I have a 2006 HHR and these are the problems mine had.

I just bought my used 2008 Chevrolet HHR and so far I love it because of the space I need for wheelchair for my son and gas mileage. The seat warmers for the driver and passenger is my favorite options but the sound system and alloy tires are not my favorite due to the quality I would have preferred. I think I need to by speakers and new regular tires. But overall I love it

Great review, I drive a '07 in black, all extras (sunroof, leader), it's a Canadaversion. I'm very happy with it.

Thanks man, I appreciate this video. I wanted to buy one of these, but I feared it might not have enough power for what I wanted. If you can tow small stuff, then I can't have to imagine flooring it just to accelerate.

Yeah, the HHR is one of the few vehicles that you can attach put a hitch on so we went for it. So far it has done very good for us and I use the seats down and carry stuff in it a lot. This is the smaller 4 cylinder that they put in it and it has no problem getting up and moving if you push the pedal far enough! haha! thanks for watching and commenting!

I'm wondering if you still have the car and how it's held up sense this video? I have one... love the gas mileage. Mine is basically exactly like yours except it's dark grey in color. My complaints about the car are all interior. The cloth seats... they stain too easily. Even water stains them. The placement of the window controls are literally next to the floor in the middle and the cup holders are oddly placed in the same area but beside the seat. Too low to get to easily. The windshield isn't tall enough. You have to bend down to see a stop light. The body is nice and seems durable. The storage room in this thing is amazing! :)

I have the option to buy an 2007 HHR LT. I took it for a 4 mile test run. Love the way it handles. I've been reading a lot of negative things about the warping of the Rotors and violent vibration in the steering because of the warped rotors, the power steering going out, rain coming into the car, unprotected radiator bottom susceptible to stones and debris. What are your thoughts on these things. The car is in mint condition, with 107,000 miles.

I m thinking about buying a used one of these as my start up vehicle for my renovation company. I don t need a huge pickup and this looks like it s the right size, but still roomy.
    Any thoughts?

I enjoyed the video but at 8:23 you mention it has a V4. I'm sure your 4 cylinder engine is an inline 4 not a V4.
