- Honda Amaze problems are what we are going to discuss today, Honda Amaze has been on the market for a long time so this time for me to give you a long term ownership experience with boat prose and cons every car has its own set of prose and concentrate I'm going to discuss the issues that you may face in the long term if you decide to buy Honda Amaze.
you get the same four-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine that you find on the Honda jazz as well. Honda Jazz has been in the market for a very long time and this engine will not disappoint you as it offers great performance at higher revs.
in terms of pricing, it is on par with the Maruti Swift dzire which also offers similar performance and features so if you are confused between the two watching this video will clear your doubts.
Honda Amaze was also recently launched with a new year model and new features like LED headlights and taillights and minor changes to the interior.
in terms of safety again Honda Amaze performs really well as it is a 4 star rated car in the encap crash test rating and makes it one of the safest under 4-meter car in its segment after the Tata tigor.
there are certain issues that you may find in the long term but Honda Amaze is a very reliable car like other Honda cars this makes the car very reliable in the long run.
In terms of features, the Honda Amaze does not impress, but since the car has been in the market for a long time you can get a lot of parts in the after market to perform modification s and add more features to your car.

I had been using honda amaze for 3 yrs. 2019 model petrol variant automatic. Long run mileage 22 km. No single complaint till now with the grace of god
I got 26 at Hyd to vijaywada and return gave me around 21 . I got 2019 model too 80kmph avg (cvt model )
Hey joseph have you driven your petrol automatic in hilly area/ steep slope? Does it have issue in that segment?
I have 2017 variant petrol manual average of only 11-12

I also own Amaze (Dec 2019) and had the same problem. This ratting noise I fixed it is by fixing the cowl top (the black color thing at the bonnet beneath windshield that holds wipers), you take a 3M take stick it to cowl top covers and also the wiper motors and then you will realize that the rattling noise is gone. Believe me for an year, I was searching for an answer to it and finally found by contacting the Manager at Victory Ranchi. Honda's service is the best.
In March 2022, I purchased the Honda Amaze Top variant in Petrol . I'm completely satisfied with Honda. I love Honda Amaze

Very very comfortable car with superb suspension. I have one Nov. 2021 , New model with 9400 km running till date. It just glides on bad roads.

We are planning to book one next month hence would like to know
They dont include all of these premium features cus of City, if they put everything in Amaze, then City sales will go down. But as far as technology in Honda cars, they should really work on it.
They should ideally reduce its price if they cant give the features.
Instead of one model, they should focus on overall brand growth..
Their current strategy is not working.

I own a vx MT petrol 2019 model and I totally concur with each and every point you mentioned here . It’s true that pre 2021 facelift the amaze suspension was very plush and offered a very comfy ride . Now the suspension is a bit stiffer but that’s actually good as it’s much more stable on highways . Overall a great car under 10 lakhs . This is the best choice . And diesel is a rocket

It might be 10.2 lakh in some cities, and 11 lakh in others.
Great car. Own a 2018 V CVT. Extremely stable and sturdy at high speed curves and pleasure to drive in ghat sections. Faltu Maruti Ertiga and new wagon r were racing with me on way from Wai to Mahabaleshwar. They both fell extremely short.
This car feels extremely planted.
Reg chota mota things not there… screw it does not make any difference.
Engine and driving dynamics matter and it’s extremely good. Go for it

Thinking of buying a petrol Automatic S variant. Mostly drive in city traffic with 20% drive on highway. Will it give good mileage?
Probably to avoid belly bruise suspension is made stiff.In pre 2020 modles suspension was smooth but problem of belly bruise while crossing bulgy speed brackers was noticed.

@@ashish1926 i believe vx is VFM because its around 90k costly but you will get following things as an upgrade: Bigger alloys R15 vs R14 in S, auto climate vs manual, auto projector led headlamps vs manual halgen headlamps, led fog lights vs none, 7 inch touch screen with Android auto and apple car play vs noraml 2din music system, reverse camera vs none, keyless start button vs normal remote key, chrome door handles vs body coloured door handles and other minor upgrades like a bit big MID and better stiches on fabric seats

I am an owner of Amaze S Petrol MT since 5 months..7k+ kms, however i feel that there is too much of rattling from dashboard which is irritating while driving specially on the bad roads...this problem has developed since last couple of months, infact it has increased
Feels underpower with high cut of average, though it is acceptable in comparison with the comfort
The build quality is not so good. The look is very premium and its presence is felt..but personal felling, Honda should work on quality specifically dashboard quality, glovebox quality, door quality and suspension quality on bad roads...
I am driving 2019 SMT , 50k kms completed. If you are feeling noise from dashboard then raise it in your next service.
It was there in my car and got it fixed in my 1st service only , also confirm with them if there is a retrofit
Clutch is hard than old dezire. Driver sitting position is problem. Feel tired very quickly. If facing same problem please reply. Model 2022

Honda amez diesel/ petrol can be viewed as one of the best value for money in all respects.. The deviations if any being experienced are due to budget and of course marketing techniques to drive customers towards other high end models.. one design improvement required regarding Stepney tyre placement.. Every time the tyre needs to be removed to reach the nozzle for checking air.

Just purchased Honda Amaze SMT variant last month, esthetically premium, very nice comfort, big boot space, suspension is just okay, ground clearance is excellent in this class segment, super strong AC , very spacious from inside , drove 4200 kms so far and Average is 17.4 , IVTEC Engine is superb 👏, back headrest, installed front as well from Honda showroom, 4 stars NCAP safety ratings, will surely give 5 stars 🌟 😊 till now.

I am facing different problem with Amaze V CVT hard break issue, service engineer also confused with the issue after three days they changed break pad still same issues now they are planing for break master cylinder...
Dashboard area rattles a lot in bad patchy roads and also the plastic in the dashboard area if you press hard, it feels like bending.
And metal quality roofline as well
Ask during service to tight dashboard and doors
1yr back rejected amaze s petrol due to less features and under power in 1st and 2nd gear,low milage and purchased Hyn Aura fully satisfied.
I think one thing which was missed in the video was the paddle shifters.

Bro you forget to tell that in cabin sound or road is very high, built quality is very weak. Rattle sound will definitely arise after uses of 6 month period.

Best car as I am owner of Amaze for 5 years done more than 30000km with many outstation trips without any issue. In fact I will go for it again as best value for money
My diesel amaze giving super mileage on highways 28 -30 kms
I own 2018 Honda Amaze smt Diesel with 100000+ kms driven and it is perfect powerful machine. I get mileage between 25 to 35 km/l
After 22.000km mileage reduce 11.6 km/l is it currect
All above mentioned issue are personal feedback. No other car fall close to it in terms of comfort. You need a comfortable and safe car on the road not army tank. Which is more powe full but not ment to drive on the road and not to forget with out family.
Baleno 1.6liter engine wala car jo 2001pe ata tha market pe.usme b same feel ata tha jaise amaze pe aata hai coz uska b engine bay bonnet visible tha
Purchased Amaze petrol CVT 2022 . Getting mileage of just 6.5 kmpl for first 100 kmts driven.
Will it improve to 12-15 after first service ???

Hi All, I own 2021 model amaze s CVT, after 5k kilometres I upgraded my tyres to 185/65/15 I bought after market 15 inches alloy, there was drastic increase in ground clearance, no worry about patholes, look increased superbly, but need to compromise on milage, there is drop of 1.5 to 2 kmpl drop in fuel effiency, our Andhra pradesh roads are very pathetic, hence went with 185/65/15, but before that I bought yokhoma 175/65/15, but yokoho are worst tyres I returned back my tryes with the dealers for 5000 lesser price, due to hardness of tyres powder power window glass beeding got removed due to bumps, then I went for mrf zvts which are budget tyres 185/65/15, for 16000 including wheel alignment and fitting, now I am getting milage of 11kmpl on average due, because of the increase of size in tyres you will feel steering holding bull horns and driving car

But I would strongly suggest do not buy bs6 amaze petrol, best is to purchase amaze bs4 petrol if u get it in the market, my friend car is coming on average 18 kmpl

I drive new Wagon R VX 1.2 MT petrol & a new Amaze VX petrol variant. All you said is ok. Two more discomfort I would like to share is: -
1. While getting into driver seat, the leg fouls with the steering even when steering is moved up with driver seat pushed back. This is applicable for an average tall person also.
2. The RHS Windshield support really blocks vision when turning right.
When fully loaded with five occupants along with luggage in the dicky,doesn't looks good particularly back portion of the car and while crossing bumper sometimes its dicky stuck with the speed breaker.

You must include almost 40 % car faced the same issue. They didn’t replaced it for free
I just want to throw in my personal perspective /thoughts though it is not on sale currently. I own a Ford Figo aspire which is kinda a front runner to this car in petrol/diesel, ride, handling, breaking and WOW what a steering to handle and drive!!
P.S. I own a Ford Figo Aspire Petrol 1.2 MT 2017 model. Boy! It puts a smile on my face every time I take it out for a spin. Just my perspective I did drive Amaze (my brother has it) but I’m more inclined to my Aston Martin inspired front grille

Actually Amaze has the quality that no other brand provides, for the given price. Never listen to other who don't understand simple things. Amaze is gorgeous amazing car

Both same bro. Same engine ,same body everything.Vx have additional features like hill hold assist only.
Amaze is the best car in segment no car is better than amaze in the segment.Most balanced car in segment has all the essentials which is needed in day to day life

It's best choice. If you are travel is city and highways.. Then amaze is best.
If you travel off-road mostly then you should consider 200mm ground clearance car

Was confused between Honda Amaze CVT VX and Tata Altroz DCT XZA.
Finally booked Altroz 2 hours ago for exactly these reasons.
1. You don't feel premium in the Cabin.
2. Infotainment is very basic
3. Sound system is basic too. No tweeters.
4. No proper spaces for your things to keep.
5. No arm rest.
These are small things which somehow urged me to book Altroz. It's feels rich inside the cabin of Altroz due to its small design elements.
Honda Amaze would have been best if they took care of these little things.
How are you feeling with Altroz now..what do you suggest Amaze or Altroz..?
@@Kumars-sh5pb still I would go with Altroz. But amaze is getting upgrade next year. Amaze engine is better compared to altroz. But rest in all aspects altroz is better.

@@Kumars-sh5pb Altroz's suspension is more on stiffer side than amaza. Amaze is little soft and bouncy. Altroz's engine noise is evident due to its 3 cylinder engine. Amaze has got 4 cylinder engine, plus Honda is known for its engine reliability. It it way more silent than Altroz.

the most drawback seating with 4 people in car even on small breakers it touches the ground and seat thigh support is less compared to others in this segment, pick up is also not so good and 14inch wheel size doesn't look so good in this
Are you talking about latest facelift? Cz he is saying suspension are stiff with latest facelift and it should not touch breakers.
Already Honda is charging very high compared to other brands but they are not giving better features and many features are missing too

If you want a good mileage go for Baleno. For everything else Amaze is the best.

No comparison, different cars, kiger has 1000cc engine while Amaze has 1200 cc engine
Trust Honda more than renault and Nissan. They may go anytime and their Indian products are not up to the mark for long term
One is compact sedan car and the other is micro SUV.. no comparison.. first you have to decide which type you need.

Rattling noise is there after 35k itself, they don't have solution in the service, clutch issues and engine noise in the Diesel is annoying.

Steering is hard and doesn’t give power steering feel
Amaze is the Best Car for India. I am using Diesel MT from 4 years. Driven 120000+. Best Build Quality with Good driving dynamics, comfort and convenience. Honda Diesel Engines are Best. It manages Power and Mileage. It gives 23KMPL avg on fast and rough driving. Stable at 140KMPH. In a day I have traveled max 1206 KM comfortably. Engine will not stress even if you travel daily 600KM above daily for 13 days. I will buy Amaze again.
