I own Honda Elevate Zx MT... In all fairness it's best on the segment. All the necessary features are available and best NA engine... Linear power delivery and i-VTEC is so powerful. I Neva regret buying it. And the turbos are nonsense in my opinion. Also , sunroof is a unnecessary feature personally... My personal preference less features, less maintenance and high driving fun is what made me choose Elevate... All these keyboard warriors do not know crap bout automobile! Good video @EVO 👏🏻👏🏻

Honda misses out even basic things 1₹ no disk breaks in all 4 wheels 2 no premium sound system 3 media player display quality is very basic 4 camera quality and no dynamic guided navigation for rear camera. 5 no ventilation in front seats 6 No radar for ADAS 6 basic NA engine instead of Turbo the list still goes on

Recently bought Honda Elevate VX CVT a month ago. If you looking for a car which looks good,safe and economical then elevate is no brainier. It is priced competitively as well.
Vw taigun gt and honda elevate are good cars in the segment. They dont have much features but they have necessary features and best ride Quality and comfort and build quality is also good
I had a VW Polo 1.5 TDI ,drove it for 1,00,000 kms and it was fun driving. I had hoped that VW bring in the new polo, but the only problem with it was that it had a cramped rear seat. If I do buy a VW then I will definitely want to buy a taigun 1.5.
For all Indians Good Looks, Big Size, Cabinspace for 5, Low Cost of Maintenance against Price with Reliability & efficency is most important factor of buying a new Car. Maybe 10-15% wants Safety & Driving Dynamics as priority at the expense of High Costs of Maintenance, Efficency & Reliability. That's the reason why CREATA an all rounder with options of both Petrol NA, Turbo & Diesal, alongwith options of Gearbox option of MT, iMT, TC & DCT. Followed by Vitara-Hyryder as it offers Petrol NA & Hybrid. That's the reason why CREATA leads the pack & at the bottom of Sales chart are Kushaq-Taigun as it offers only in Petrol option TSI engine & Elevate in Petrol NA only. If at the launch VW-Skoda had offered 1.5 TSI MT from Base variant on Kushaq-Taigun then their Sales nos. would have been better. ELEVATE Sales are declining as it does not offer the same rear seat comfort as the City. At the same time Honda is offering step motherly treatment to Elevate by not offering the same feature list as City variants.

One will forget all the turbos when you get to 7000rpm in a honda manual. The sound it makes, the vtech kicking in, its just phenominal. I have deiven a skoda 1.5 tsi for a long road trip and i still rate a city manual higher ( i own none of them , so no biases). Its not how fast you go, its how you go fast.
We don't have an Autobahn here, neither fuel is cheap here. 7000rpm is a fool's dream in India. Here only 1500-3000rpm matters. And Turbos are way better in the midrange, as we all know.
7000 is red lining. I don’t know who told you to drive at that. I have had a honda for over 10 years. Its a great engine but still not as peppy as a 1.5 turbo if one ignores the fuel economy.

What you need to understand about the VW and Skoda cars is that they might not have the most features if you purchase the top variant, but even their middle variants come fully equipped with those same features. So if youre purchasing a car in this segment with a budget of 18-20L on road, these cars will give you the most features at that price point if you purchase the top variant of the 1L engine.
Please stop calling the USB-A port 'silly'. most cables that come with Android smartphones are USB-A to USB-C. Only the premium and the flagship phones offer type-C to type-C. So, the type-A port is still pretty useful, because if it weren't, even laptops wouldn't have those. And most laptops do!!
The hybrid should’ve been developed with the K-15 engine as part of their powertrain. My only issue with those car is the lack of power. I hope they consider this in the facelift.

Kushaq all the way. For 4 people to travel, there is no car in this segment that is as comfortable as a Kushaq. But for 5, definitely the Creta or the Elevate are better. Used both Creta and Kushaq and have always gone back to the Kushaq for my small family of 3 in any road trips due to the comfort it offers. Creta is mostly for my larger family when i have to fit in 5 adults and for shorter city drives

Grand vitara allgrip variant is what I would prefer..Atleast it has an AWD set up and is built on a Global C palyform which is a euro spec platform..1.5 engine lacks punch but it has enough bottom and mid range..Good cruiser as well..Adding Maruti's long term reliability and service I think its a wise choice..
Was hoping to compare the Grand Vitara AWD with the Hyryder Strong Hybrid because essentially they are the same chassis but different powertrains. Should have put a different perspective instead of focusing only features.
I would rather get a Virtus or a Slavia, no compromises whatsoever, enough boot space, enough cabin space, superior styling, superior handling and mileage, perfect ground clearance and a proper looking car !

The review was going reasonably well by today's youtube standards (which are garbage) but criticism of CVT in Hyryder was a major turn off, as a journalist you should know better, this is not at all related to the conventional CVT we find in cars and eCVT is a planatery gear based system with a cocktail of electric motor thrown in and there is zero rubber band effect because it works differently to the conventional CVT system, but you just mindlesslesly went for the whole CVT = Rubbber Band Effect trope! Also, the lag you feel is not due to CVT but the lack of torque and power from the combined hybrid system which is still lower than the Turbo Petrols from VW and Hyundai, and not because of the transmission.
Having a cup of tea in the evening could not stop the video such is the quality and such is the professional approach and the professional people in the team this video nearly souls your queries and saves the time of test driving five different vehicles yes when to buy you have to test drive but before buying you can zero down your choices by such type of professional videos
Only the Hyryder, Grand Vitara and Taigun qualify as SUVs because they have the AWD option. Edit: The Taigun does not offer AWD. The Tiguan does but it's not relevant to the discussion here.

Being Seltos owner i never liked gen old creta for looks. The main reason to buy seltos was it's charming from inside to outside even though it's our weekend or tourist getaway car & it doesn't have sunroof but Creta "futuristic' looks were shitty.. this creta tick on all boxes (not safety though) but it's the best bet considering service center availability & long term reliability..
All the expert comparo & opinions all over internet is for 1.5 Turbo engine top end variants.. The real customer base is for mid variant 1.5 NA engines!! 😛.. What a Colossal mismatch 😂

Volkswagen and Skoda is mostly prefer by non emi segment audience, Rich consumer as this both brands have a bit luxury appeal compare to Hyundai or maruti.
They are mostly the same price. The large price difference which Maruti and Hyundai were offering with better efficiency is not the case anymore. No real reason to choose them now.

K15c is plain underpowered. Get the hybrid. The gearing is too short for highway drives. Does almost 3000 rpm for 100 kmph

Please consider pricing too..journos tell price of lowest variants and count the features of highest specs..all vehicles are equally good and caters to a certain audience but pricing would be a benchmark to measure what you get for your bucks.

No way its a bad review and i am even ok with the meme but of all channels i did except yours to bring it out the pratical aspects as budget and vfm does matter to many buyers. Peace

You are adding same car Grand Vitara and Hyryder but not Seltos. Comparison is incomplete and not authentic.

Being Seltos owner i never liked gen old creta for looks. The main reason to buy seltos was it's charming from inside to outside even though it's our weekend or tourist getaway car & it doesn't have sunroof but Creta "futuristic' looks were shitty.. this creta tick on all boxes (not safety though) but it's the best bet considering service center availability & long term reliability..
All the expert comparo & opinions all over internet is for 1.5 Turbo engine top end variants.. The real customer base is for mid variant 1.5 NA engines!! 😛..

Only good 1.5 na is the honda one. The k15c and the 1.5 kappa are plain garbage. Rhe k15c belongs on the baleno or fronx. Not above that
Skoda Kushaq should be added here. The best manly looking car in the segment.
Seltos is also good when comes to styling, comfort and best in class interior.
Honda is hands down best car when comes to longetivity.

Volkswagen and Skoda is mostly prefer by non emi segment audience, Rich consumer as this both brands have a bit luxury appeal compare to Hyundai or maruti.
They are mostly the same price. The large price difference which Maruti and Hyundai were offering with better efficiency is not the case anymore.
No real reason to choose them now.
