We bought this car in 2016 and were considering dezire but they were delivering late so we got this one . Damn this is a one fine car . My father drives it daily about 100 km and it gives us mileage of around 20 and even higher . We live in village and roads are bad there even then it gives around 15-16 . Also have done about 90k + kms . Literally no issue with the car or any other fault . Only changed tyres . Speakers are also very good . We are from hilly state and have gone to manali with 4 persons and it gave no issue . Amazing car . If you are buying it just go for it .
I had Amaze diesel 2014 model. Clocked 1,80,000 kms with it. No engine work or clutch work required. Maneuvering and handling is great. Not to mention the milage never dropped below 20 in city and 23-25 in long drives.
Bought top model cvt 2 months ago. The more I drive, more I love this car. I am getting mileage city 13-14 and highway 18.5-19.7 kmpl. Excellent car with peaceful silent engine and great comfort.
Since 2019, 40K KM, 13 to 15 mileage in City and 19 on Highway with AC We can say its Sedan and other are compact Sedan due to boot capacity and bonnat it looks bigger than other On 120 Runs super fine And company in built-in vibration is there above 140
Excellent Review bhaiya 1) I have Manual 2018 , with 1.1 lakh km odo. 2) Most logical purchase, in city as well as think large luggage plus 4 , which most compact suv wont fit. 3) Get a cabin ac filter installed. 4) Get Door sound deadning done. 5) after first 60k kms replace using Bridgestone or any non economy tires, for better brake and ride feel 6)Dash compartment has a flaw of opening on potholes. Best purchase till date
I bought the amaze in Nov 2023. Done 10k kms in 11mth The engine is one of the best. Low end is weak. Not much power till 3.5k rpm. And from then, till 7k rpm it pulls very strongly So you'll need to rev it to get power and it sounds amazing at high revs The only worst point about the car is the suspension. Its just way too soft. If 4 people sit, the suspension sags down a lot. And ground clearance reduces. And its not very planted at highway speeds. It wallows at high speeds especially when taking corners fast Apart from this its a fine car at that price
I have a Honda Amaze 2018, EX-MT Petrol version. I replaced the horns only. It has a very smooth driving experience. There is no engine work required, no clutch, suspension issues or any other major or minor issues. I love Honda cars. My next car will be a Honda SUV or Honda Civic.

I have purchased Amaze Diesel in 2015 and till date driving is smooth and getting average 27.50 to 29.5 Kms per ltr with AC and one time car give average 34.1 Kms I love this car
Had the pleasure of driving Amaze 2023 S manual for almost 200 km on highways and in city traffic as well. Four things that blew my mind: 1) Rock solid stability at 110 kmph which is more than enough for an average Indian highway(we were 4 adults travelling at that time btw) 2) Performance is too good for a 4 cylinder NA petrol engine be it city or highway 3) Mileage is in between 13-20 kmpl depending on driving conditions 4) No gimmicky features as such(sunroof, fancy electronic features which has practically no use for an average person) Also four things that could be improved with the facelift 2024: 1) Addition of rear AC vents for better AC throughout the car 2) Infotainment system could be better with better rear view camera 3) 6 airbags and essential electronic safety features as standard across all variants 4) Adjustable headrests for 5 people travelling in the car as standard to reduce whiplash injury
Nissan miagnite is a really good offering in terms of sapce feature and also gives you a bit SUV feel, on the otger hand you will love enjoying Honda engine! Thats more refined and quite comapred to magnite. You choose according to your requirement I got better boot space on Amaze and quite engine + honda offers a 4 cylinder thats why refinement but foe sure not so much features
The biggest + point is its around 8 lakh rupees on road for manual transmission and automatic CVT is approx 10 lakh rupees. It’s spacious and has good boot space to keep your luggage. Now you get 6 airbags in all variants also with model code R

Good review! Pros and cons are balanced. Honda cars are delightful in ride quality. Perfect clutch travel, punchy brakes, precise steerings and short gear throws... This combination makes honda cars easy drive cars, probably this is Honda's man maximum, machine minimum philosophy. Honda cars have overall safe chasis and stay planted on roads. Anyways, a good video. Honda is always a good and correct choice...its a solid and a no-non-sense car.

CVT Automatic is a much smoother drive, as compared to DCT Automatic. One doesn't notice the gear change in CVT, compared to DCT. Honda car engines are extremely reliable and long-lasting. Fuel efficiency is also much better in Honda vs Hyundai. I would prefer Honda Amaze over Hyundai Venue.

There is a new Amaze being launched by end of 2024, early 2025. Cost-wise too, Amaze is much lower than the Venue.
You should definitely pick CVT for smoother ride quality, You might not get that SUV type road grip on Amaze but it is comfortable and silent and I also got the boot space which I needed!
Mine is vx cvt 2023 model. It is giving mileage of only 9 to 12 kmpl only. 12 in winters, 9 in summers. I drive with light foot. Not sure, is there any issue with car? Service center says it is OK. But seems some issue.
I think that also depends on the traffic condition people you stay in outskirts get better mileage than us in city it give 12-13 that's for sure Highway it has given me 20kmpl!
Makes sense if you use AC in the summer and don't use it in the winte? Hopefully this is natural. I am planing to buy one in 4 months. My friend had milage issue in his diesel he got 16 on highways (I must mention that he drives spiritedly) and the service center guys couldn't fix it.
@peetambardutt7731 have you felt the hill assist not working when the inclination is more (as in the steep inclination). I have vx cvt 2023 oct model and after first service, if the inclination is more then the car isn't stopping which it use to do earlier.
Bro i bought the same car color and variant SMT in November 2022 i have done 2000 KM so far. I spent more than Rs 25,000/- on patrol. From Day one i am getting only 7-8 KMPL in city with AC on. What may i do to improve the milage. Any suggestions......
2021 honda amaze V manual owner here , i have driven it only 12k in 3 years and i feel like its a very underpowered car , it tops out at 150-160 ...takes about 12-13seconda to get to 100 , Im thinking about getting it stage 1 tuned soon

The engine has to pass supreme quality checks on various stages in companies like toyota and honda. 90 percent power is available below 4000 rpm in Ivtec thats why the ride feels engaging in every honda engine. I myself am a honda owner. Driving first generation Brio and 4th generation city. I don't feel like upgrading...no. I don't get carried away by the tsunami of SUVs and other brand cars giving a plethora of features...I remain satisfied and planted on my old timers just like these two cars remain planted on the road... Hondas age gracefully. I drove marutis, 800 and ritz, for 15 years and migrated or upgraded to Hondas for the last eight years....I never looked back to maruti again...unless, I met Jimny, which has captured my interest...I am yet to test drive it...to form an opinion....😊
So both are bit different segment you wll get a bit big car feel in Sonet and ofcourse bigger tyres with better handling as an Crossbreed SUV I bought it coz I needed the boot space which Sonet doesn't offer and rear seats provide same leg room as Amaze didn't feel any defference plus I saved some money!

I have Dezire vxi petrol in Mumbai. And i am getting 16 -18 kmpl in Mumbai's bumper to bumper traffic with AC. And on highway I get maximum 28kmpl on peteol with Ac. App pehle car ko samzo aur sahi se chalao u will get good mileage in petrol also 1200cc ki car hai ye sab inki limit 80-100 kmph hi hai usse jyada bhagake koie use nahi
Maruti's are made to give mileage while Honda’s are more about drive quality! I agree that getting mileage totally depend on riding style and Driving conditions, but thats the problem with Honda is it doesnt give mileage...

CVT Automatic is a much smoother drive, as compared to DCT Automatic. One doesn't notice the gear change in CVT, compared to DCT.
Honda car engines are extremely reliable and long-lasting.
Fuel efficiency is also much better in Honda vs Hyundai.
I would prefer Honda Amaze over Hyundai Venue.

I've been driving the Honda Jazz CVT for the last 5 years.
Before that, Honda City for 10 years.
Planning to buy the Amaze CVT. It is available at a good discount presently.
There is a new Amaze being launched by end of 2024, early 2025.
Cost-wise too, Amaze is much lower than the Venue.
You should definitely pick CVT for smoother ride quality, You might not get that SUV type road grip on Amaze but it is comfortable and silent and I also got the boot space which I needed!
Mine is vx cvt 2023 model. It is giving mileage of only 9 to 12 kmpl only. 12 in winters, 9 in summers. I drive with light foot. Not sure, is there any issue with car? Service center says it is OK. But seems some issue.
I think that also depends on the traffic condition people you stay in outskirts get better mileage than us in city it give 12-13 that's for sure Highway it has given me 20kmpl!
Makes sense if you use AC in the summer and don't use it in the winte? Hopefully this is natural. I am planing to buy one in 4 months. My friend had milage issue in his diesel he got 16 on highways (I must mention that he drives spiritedly) and the service center guys couldn't fix it.
@peetambardutt7731 have you felt the hill assist not working when the inclination is more (as in the steep inclination). I have vx cvt 2023 oct model and after first service, if the inclination is more then the car isn't stopping which it use to do earlier.

Bro i bought the same car color and variant SMT in November 2022 i have done 2000 KM so far.
I spent more than Rs 25,000/- on patrol.
From Day one i am getting only 7-8 KMPL in city with AC on.
What may i do to improve the milage.
Any suggestions......

2021 honda amaze V manual owner here , i have driven it only 12k in 3 years and i feel like its a very underpowered car , it tops out at 150-160 ...takes about 12-13seconda to get to 100 , Im thinking about getting it stage 1 tuned soon
Well it has lenient power, top speed is restricted but good as a family car with great comfort level

You should have gone for Balino zeta varient AGS in my opinion would have been better value for money as primum hatchback as i done survey all Tata,Honda ,Mahendra etc within 12 lacks SUV and Sadan

Have you driven it on hilly mountain? The low rpm performance of this car is very bad you have to downshift to get power .
I have driven it for like 600 - 700 kms in Himachal that included every type of terrain, And I never found it to be struggling in lower RPM

I think Baleno offers more features than Honda but I not fan of features I just need a good ride quality which I felt was better in Honda! But Baleno is more value for money as a overall package! But Amaze got better boot space which I needed!
If you are looking for manual transmission go for Baleno
If automatic then go for Amaze

I myself am a honda owner. Driving first generation Brio and 4th generation city. I don't feel like upgrading...no. I don't get carried away by the tsunami of SUVs and other brand cars giving a plethora of features...I remain satisfied and planted on my old timers just like these two cars remain planted on the road... Hondas age gracefully. I drove marutis, 800 and ritz, for 15 years and migrated or upgraded to Hondas for the last eight years....I never looked back to maruti again...unless, I met Jimny, which has captured my interest...I am yet to test drive it...to form an opinion....😊

So both are bit different segment you wll get a bit big car feel in Sonet and ofcourse bigger tyres with better handling as an Crossbreed SUV I bought it coz I needed the boot space which Sonet doesn't offer and rear seats provide same leg room as Amaze didn't feel any defference plus I saved some money!

Its not stability problem,its due to soft suspension.Also audio is quiet good! Try using BT . 5 ppl may not be comfortable,but this is the spacious car of all compact sedans.

I have Dezire vxi petrol in Mumbai. And i am getting 16 -18 kmpl in Mumbai's bumper to bumper traffic with AC. And on highway I get maximum 28kmpl on peteol with Ac. App pehle car ko samzo aur sahi se chalao u will get good mileage in petrol also 1200cc ki car hai ye sab inki limit 80-100 kmph hi hai usse jyada bhagake koie use nahi
Maruti's are made to give mileage while Honda’s are more about drive quality! I agree that getting mileage totally depend on riding style and Driving conditions, but thats the problem with Honda is it doesnt give mileage...
