- Honda Amaze problems are what we are going to discuss today, Honda Amaze has been on the market for a long time so this time for me to give you a long term ownership experience with boat prose and cons every car has its own set of prose and concentrate I'm going to discuss the issues that you may face in the long term if you decide to buy Honda Amaze.
you get the same four-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine that you find on the Honda jazz as well. Honda Jazz has been in the market for a very long time and this engine will not disappoint you as it offers great performance at higher revs.
in terms of pricing, it is on par with the Maruti Swift dzire which also offers similar performance and features so if you are confused between the two watching this video will clear your doubts.
Honda Amaze was also recently launched with a new year model and new features like LED headlights and taillights and minor changes to the interior.
in terms of safety again Honda Amaze performs really well as it is a 4 star rated car in the encap crash test rating and makes it one of the safest under 4-meter car in its segment after the Tata tigor.
there are certain issues that you may find in the long term but Honda Amaze is a very reliable car like other Honda cars this makes the car very reliable in the long run.
In terms of features, the Honda Amaze does not impress, but since the car has been in the market for a long time you can get a lot of parts in the after market to perform modification s and add more features to your car.

I have driven amaze cvt 2019 in hilly areas fully loaded. Nice car to drive with nice transmission also has hill hold feature and works fine. Best automatic transmission in this segment which no one is offering at present.

Now I own this car( amaze cvt) and have been using it for my pachmarhi trips and found it to be more suitable and convenient than my honda jazz manual. It conquers all uphill roads with ease.

I own a Honda amaze for the last 9 years it's clocked over 1 lac kilometres, and till today I have never had any issues.
We have an honda amaze for the past 8 years and its still in perfect condition. We luv it and dont like any other car ,its a wonderful city car especially for mumbai.

I have 2021 model Diesel VX MT done 20k kms so far in 18 months and luckily I do not have any issues and I am extremely happy with the vehicle . I drive my Amaze 90% on the highway mostly on cruise control within 80 kmph and the mileage is 25kmpl average. I understand this video is about the petrol version but my experience has been so satisfying I thought of sharing here .
Your feedback is very true and unbiased. I am also a Proud owner of New Honda Amaze 2018 V CVT. It's really amazing. My experience is awesome on long drives on hilly regions like, Ghaziabad to Vaishno Devi, Shivkhori, kufri, Shimla, Jaipur, Kausani, Nainital, Mukteshwar, Lansdowne etc. No issues with my CVT Amaze. Excellent Customer Services by Prime Honda, Sahibabad Team.

Right when i first drove Amaze from the showroom at the time of purchase it felt so easy to drive from my previous car K10...yes glove box has gap and there is noise when running on rough roads

I bought amaze s cvt in December 2021 and the rattling sound is there in glovebox. Mileage in city with AC is also around 11-12 but on highway it is more than 16-18. I really liked the comfort and drive in hills. Even on steep climb it managed to keep up the pace. If you are not a throttle loving person then it’s a value for money car. Biggest boot space in that segment and price tag. Service is definitely good and the car really looks Premium.

@@dineshnayak1772 no rollback witnessed even when i was in a jam uphill. Cvt does not lag when we rev after releasing brakes. But yes better to engage hand brake for safety though
I feel the rattling noise a lot. Is there any solution for that.

sedan is always comfortable in inner space,rear seat comfort,boot space and balance of car is superb.
I have petrol amaze manual .it's wonderful family car for comfort level
I also own Amaze (Dec 2019) and had the same problem. This ratting noise I fixed it is by fixing the cowl top (the black color thing at the bonnet beneath windshield that holds wipers), you take a 3M take stick it to cowl top covers and also the wiper motors and then you will realize that the rattling noise is gone. Believe me for an year, I was searching for an answer to it and finally found by contacting the Manager at Victory Ranchi. Honda's service is the best.
What is the mileage you are getting in the city?
@@kiranshirsat2900 around 12 in Bangalore. Otherwise in my hometown that has a little less traffic there you can expect 14-15.

I have VMT 2019 petrol... I fully agree with your unbiased observation. All pros and cons are true. I have driven 49000 kms so far. I am still enjoying the car. And I plan keep it for some more time..

My experience with 2020 CVT:
City Avg: 8 - 8.5 kmpl
Hwy Avg: 17-18 kmpl
Dashboard rattling: Yes, as you mentioned.
Suspension: Stiff, as you mentioned. But I had tried 2021 Amaze and their suspension was smoother in comparison.
Rattling from front side may be in the steering assembly.
But with all other features and qualities as you mentioned, I like Amaze 😊
I agree with your pros and cons. Suspension, glow box rattling sound are at times irritating. Instrument cluster and resolution is very low quality. I use mobile holder for navigation. Window rubber quality is poor comes out within a year or two. City mileage is very poor, gives 8 to 10 km per litre. Highway mikeage os pretty good 16 to 20 depends how you drive. But drivabilty is excellent, very smooth and engine is superb no other car can match. You like road presence of this car. Overall it is value for your money.
I am thinking to buy a compact sedan. Currently having 2 options in petrol version, Honda Amaze VX and Hyundai Aura SX..which one should i go for considering some important aspects like engine refinement, ground clearance, safety features, build quality, mileage in city & highways, inner space, comfort, ride quality etc.. please give your review on this..

My xpirience with the steering feedback is really bad.....i tested two test cars both had very bad steering feed back. When it comes to engine performance it lags a lot.....even with full throtle there is no power in the 2nd or 3rd gear. On speed breakers its a nightmare.you have to go with a angle. I agree with the comfort in the backseat.

Valuable info bro . Honda should look also to promote jazz that is also a fantastic car but underrated one. Very costly hatch back . The price of cvt very much higher than its own amaze comparatively.
Jazz is underrated because of its engine. Honda installed the same engine of Amaze on it. 1.5 litre engine could have been better for Jazz

I have the new model of 2022. Yes....During hill ride low power feeling is there ...and rattling sound still there in glove box...even on smooth road it comes frequently, which is very much irritating.
What's the ground clearances of Honda Amaze.? And it's fuel consumption /km.

I had honda civic 1.8 for 7 yrs in sydney(Australia) clocked over 400000 kms,no issues at all.Honda always been amazing
One more problem in this car is its windows. When windows are half open and you close the door then the sound was like it feels the glass will come out.

Hi, i have 2014 honda amaze diesel car, as you said i dont like interior.. i love milage..within city i get 20 to 21. Highway around 21 to 22.
Sir my run is 2000km once in a 4month 50prcnt highway 20percnt city 15percnt small town 15percnt hilly area for 4 family members n luggage for long term use n relibility need.can I go for cvt petrol or aney other automatic car.pls suggest.need cvt 4cylinder only
Mine has minor issues. AC captures bad smell from outside and puts in in the cabin. Don’t know if it’s because of the absence of the cabin filter. Sometimes the gear stucks if you slow down and try to lower the gear to the 2nd one. I sometimes have to keep the car in the 3rd gear and it’s embarrassing to pull the car that slow.
Your explanations are quite good and appreciable. But i would suggest you to change few harsh words with different words or explain with ratings. like example -
Bohat bekar -> change to "i would rate as 2/10".
Its just a suggestion.

meri Amaze 2022 modal he petrol 1 and 2 gear mein pickup ki Kami hai uske bad gadi badhiya chalti hai highways per performance bahut achcha hai dashboard me rattling noise problem to hai kharab rasto par bohot jyada avaj ati he 30000 km chala chuka hu 6 mnth me kharab sadko par suspension mein se bhi awaaz bahut jyada aati Jaise gadi bahut purani Ho gayi Ho

20:06 the rattling issue can be fixed by changing the arm of both from the front wheel, if it is under warranty it’s free of cost.

There is severe problem in steering, it's bit hard compared to other cars. I have made checked thrice at service stations. Also suspensions are very poor. Noise comes from the same when passed in pathholes. HONDA is not recommended by me. Also service charges are too high.
Honda amaze ke bare me Maine bhut se video m dekha hai ki turn krne k baad steering apne aap wapas apni position parr nhi aata kya ye sach hai🤔

I heard that too however as far as I know Honda is not planning to exit Indian market anytime soon , they will continue their business in India.
Hello, having the same rattling sound from the glove box and even from the front dashboard..too much of sound from suspension while the car hits a pothole or on uneven road as if the suspension are damaged..one amazing i found in amaze...there is some continuous noise coming from my clutch paddle as if it is broken or something is getting stuck and creating friction....rest all is ok... My total drive kms are 11k in 6 months..pls suggest for clutch paddle

Have you faced any steering problem in honda amaze. I have seen some reviews, in low speed steering wont return back to original position after a turn. Can you please clarify it.
There is no major issue in the steering of this car they are false rumours you can go for it 😊
Yes, I complained to service centre but they said it's normal.
These r just rumours , steering reverses back when u make a cut as now I have completed 26000km in my Amaze
Check the tyre pressure and do a wheel alignment in a good shop. Check for the ball joints in the front suspensions.
2013 model amaze has much smoother steering but that was prone to some issues, so they made changes in steering motor and steering became bit stiff after that !
I am going to buy Amaze 2023, I am feeling Honda did not do well bt not providing engine splash cover. This would damage car from the bottom specially on indian roads with lot of debris

Brother isme jo maine face kiya problem bhut jyada badi problem hai,,, like windows glass bhut loose hai jo half open me hath se move hoti hai and vibration karti hai and the second is ki dashboard or front suspension se noise aati hai,, please let me know agar apne bhi ye issue face kiya hai or iska koi solution hai to,,,
NO solution for window glass, i drive mostly window closed .Keep full open then it wont make any noise. Suspension noise is gone mostly now,RHS suspension se minor noise comes sometimes. Ask sc aur koi problem nhi apart from 2nd gear slotting bit hard.

We bought a Red Radiant Petrol VX CVT 10.21 lacs on road price including extended warranty, one year road side assistance and basic accessories kit - Chennai May 2022.
0.31 lac insurance extra. 4,700 for front centre armrest extra. 12,000 extra for 3M CR 70 tint for all 4 window glasses and rear windshield.
Second service done. Two long trips done with ghat section included. 2,500 done.

Purchased Amaze petrol CVT 2022 . Getting mileage of just 6.5 kmpl for first 100 kmts driven.
Will it improve to 12-15 after first service ???
Very sad, after buying it. Not happy with mileage.
Also not happy with AC. It takes time for cooling for back seat.

Today came from long drive. Highway 200 kmts and 20 kmts Hyderabad City. Odometer showing average of 18.
Did full tank and now after returning petrol indicator is at 60%.
Looks decent on highway.
Odometer showing 18. But I think I got 15-16 which is very good.
With 80-90 speed, I was able to maintain eco mode.
But when i have checked the odometer reading with tank to tank it is same, i checked twice

Yes glove box same time feeling noisy.
I feel driving seat is not comfortable for long drive , feel tired after 500 km driven.if i have drive i 20 never feel tired
Also feel between 300 to 500 km driven engine low power feel.
Tyre sound comes in cabin on Highway
When you have a car which is running in the video it becomes difficult to see the video for long.
But its better than many cars of same segment
