Great video. Love the tent. I am having tbe same issue with regard to rain leaking down around my rooftop stove pipe. I'm thinking of doing the same thing you have done with the side pipe.
Enjoying your videos. Put up my tent in Greene County this summer and you inspired me to keep it up thru the winter. Have been storing 5 gallon jugs of water in the tent which are now frozen solid. Any suggestions on how to keep the water from freezing? Sounds like we're gonna have a cold winter upstate. Thanks! p.s. been using Grandpa Gus packets to keep the mice away and seems to be working.
Hey SB, Its pretty hard to keep it from freezing. We carry the water in during the winter. We had a deer camp deep in the Adirondacks many years ago. My dad had buried an old metal cooler in the ground. Not only to keep things cold but also to keep things from freezing. Heavy wet snow is the one thing you have to be careful with during the winter. I always go clean the snow off the rainfly after a snow storm just to be safe. We love staying in our canvas wall tent, especially during a snow storm! How are you heating your tent? Thanks for watching!
@@mytwelveacres3071 Decided to go with a propane ventless heater. Works great as long as you keep the jets clean and goes all night but has the obvious limitations if we run out of gas and can't get the quad up there 'cause of snow. Nice shot on that buck btw. Son and I took two nice bucks on the opening weekend. Rut really exploded after the warm temps. Hoping we get a second rut during muzzleloader 🤞 Scott
New here, count me in, like the tent, and it's good to see a good steward of God's land.
Thanks for watching!
Love that valley view!

It has worked out very well for us and not to difficult to do. Thanks for watching!
I’ve found that if I’m trapping for bobcat I catch coyote and vice versa. Nothing more exciting than releasing an angry bobcat. 😬
We had a family of bobcats around last winter but no season on them. Haven’t seen them yet this winter I’ve released fisher before but never a bobcat
