Just ran across your vlogs. Love Alaska, been there many times and stayed for many months. Never get tired of Alaska vlogs. Keep em coming. Very well done.
Love what you're doing with the place. Neat kitchen center. And what a view while doing the dishes! Beautiful Swans a swimmin' and Moose too! Great wild life video!
I love this and so wish I could experience a summer camping in the wild like that. Awesome kitchen, Beautiful lake and swans and the Moose and babies were the icing on the cake but of course little big foot rabbit was pretty cute. I only wish the videos were much longer. I could watch for hours.
The internet is extremely slow up here, even in town, so if I keep the videos a bit shorter it really helps with the uploads. That first one that was over forty minutes long took over 8 hours to upload! :P
I agree with Sanne and I'm so fascinated with those huge Tundra Swans! Saw quite a few Snowshoe rabbits when up there and a lot of moose, even in the heart of Anchorage on people's lawns, but never the swans. You two make these videos such fun episodes and can't wait to see more on the cabin and your plans for that. Big hugs to you both.
What’s your back story? I’d love to know more about your ties to Alaska and why you split your time between there and Oregon. Are you retired? Have family? Is there a video explaining all this? I’ve enjoyed watching so far!
I grew up on this remote lake and my family still owns that land, and my siblings still live up here in Alaska. I talk a bit about all that in the very first couple of videos from last summer; The Journey North parts one and two. We're not retired, we're musicians whose careers were rudely interrupted by Covid. I'm so glad you're enjoying our story! :)
Thank you James, that's a very nice hope and I can honestly say we are. The trials of doing this are hard sometimes, but Jack and I can always laugh and be kind to each other and that's the key to surviving anywhere with anyone! :)
Were those dogs, yours, or the neighbors. Why don't you guys get a dog, if you already don't have one. They would be great company. Good videos, and thanks for sharing.
The dogs in this video are my brother Jon's; Uncas and Jasmine. Yes it's great to have a dog up here and when we get to the point of not going back and forth to Oregon we will definitely get a dog! :)
Those dogs LOVE 💕 having y’all as neighbors. They are wayyyyy too happy to do a visit 😂😂😂
I have been binge watching for 2 days ❤
Wow thank you!
Good stuff Thanks for sharing and stay well Blessings!
Thanks for watching!
I loved watching the swans 🥰.
You'll be seeing a lot more of them! :)
Sweet as sweet can be. Makes me smile.
Hey B, what great wildlife videography!!! I just loved the cavorting swans at the end, and the moose action was pretty cool too!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Chrome from Van City Van Life uses that same shower all the time as he lives full time in his van...
Love watching this from the comfort of my house. :). Makes me want to go into the wilds of Alaska!
