- When you use aftermarket parts, you will always run into some kind of fitment issue. This was the case here too.

Just some of the real world of building a transmission
Yessir!
Yep that's why I watch him man, you can tell he ain't staging stuff and doing stupid stuff for likes
@@jameslewis1175 Thanks brother!
Great demo on the clutch air checks with the pump on, never would have thought of that idea. I had recently rebuilt a 4l60 and lost the 3-4 clutch after 200 miles. I am pretty sure I either cut a seal on the 3-4 piston or one of the teflon seals on the stator shaft. This video will really help me diagnoise the leak when I strip it down, thanks.
Glad it helps!
Hey Smitty you forgot to show us the clearance on that last washer
I don't really measure it with a dial indicator, but by feel. Total endplay was about .020" tho after all was said and done. If there is a specific one you want, let me know.
@@IrocinZ no I just wanted to see you pull up on it so I can see how much slack it was
@@ice4278 Well in that case, I was so small, you could not have seen it....
@@IrocinZokay thanks
What’s the part# for the sonnax shims ?
Sonnax part# 77409-15 for the small ones and 77406-10 for the large ones.
Did you get the thought around the third or fourth pump removal that it is generally accepted practice to leave the pump O ring off until the final placement?
Sure I did. But I was hoping that everytime I put it in would have been the last...lol
Shoulda gone precision
Precision on what? If you're talking about the overhaul kit, it was.
@@IrocinZ I’m not
@@AxlMetcalf Then elaborate please. This is an open forum and I am curious of what you speak.
@@IrocinZ 🤣👌🏻
