i20N for me. Took delivery in March. I can't stand the ST. The horrendous looks alone put me off and the interior is not a patch on the Hyundai's nor is the warranty. Then there's the equipment list which the ST cannot rival especially at the price point.

I’ve had a fiesta st3 for last 3 yrs and decided to make the change, for me both cars are nice but after driving a i20n decided to order one right away, also helps that the Hyundai comes with a 5yr warranty and 3yr free servicing, plus my local Hyundai dealers are good, where local ford garage is shut and nearest is a Arnold Clark and wouldn’t buy any car from them or take my car to them to have out done

I20n IS better equipped, has better brakes, bigger room, and boot, faster in the corners, bigger warranty including track, more stable in fast turns, and if you know how to push it you can make the rear turn (you need to push it) but the tester says i would give my money to ford because its more ,,,playfull. lol. Last but not least, very few have put the normal and mot the special edition against i20n at the track and make a comparison, giving track times, because i20n smashes fiesta and this is not what the readers must know!! But the truth is, i20n is faster in almost every track :)

The body shape is ideal imo, looks a balanced broad handling car, my only wish is that they'd upgrade that old engine that was used in previous models including the Veloster, it looks like it deserves something a little better in 2023 and I think the chassis deserves it. ...180kw's and it would be an absolute cracker with it's light weight.

I20N. Mine's build already (got my chassis number from the dealer) and it's running the safety checks and "first service" rn and I can't wait to pick it up in a few days.
I'll bet the Fiesta ST is also a fun car. But there are too many obvious reasons to go for the I20N. I've been a VW guy all my life, so I'm not attached to Hyundai or Ford. So i've picked the one that gives me most for the money. And yes, VW didn't offered me anything in that price range and I guess if I still wanna say I'm a VW guy, then only for 80/90's cars.

Personal preferences aside for either of these very special smallish cars…. When you consider that each is only £6K or £7K more than the corresponding base variant ….. then you are getting a lot of extra very useable performance. Translate that extra £6K or £7K to more expensive/premium cars, then that same difference gets so very much less.
