The fun, colorful Massachusetts trio And The Kids plays music that's full of life, with singalong songs and sometimes dissonant sounds. You'll get a sense of the band in this Tiny Desk Concert, as Hannah Mohan, Rebecca Lasaponaro and Taliana Katz perform songs from their effervescent 2015 debut, Turn To Each Other - including my own favorite, "All Day All Night."
Mohan and Lasaponaro have been making music since they were in seventh grade, a long friendship that helps make the mix of happy and sad songs all the more poignant.

Ahhh man. That’s a pretty ridiculous comment. I watched the link you shared and think that your artist is very talented, and thanks for showing me a new artist to look into, but for you to describe Becka’s skills as not very good is grossly wrong. I’ve watched all their clips and been to 3 of their shows and becka is unbelievable! I’m not typically interested in drums when I go to shows but she’ll grab your attention with her creativity, precision, her ability to balance backup singing and other instruments at the same time while smiling and connecting with Hannah the whole time. And the worst part of that comment of yours was saying their music is derivative. Several of their better songs are complex and super creative- break downs and transitions unlike anything mainstream or millennial. I discovered this band yesterday. I have been blown away by this performance. I can't get enough of this band. Pure talent.
NPR these Tiny Desk Concerts are amazing. It really exposes me to different genres and styles of music I otherwise wouldn't have heard. Please keep making them as long as you are able. :)

Quick note: their usual third band member is stuck in Canada because border laws are stupid, so that's why the bassist seems to not jive as well. She's a temp, she probably just learned the songs.

zarbran I listened to their album after watching this and they're really great. extremely talented and they sound just as good live, if not better than they do on the album. the sign of truly talented musicians.

zarbran you should check out another band by the name of Honeyblood and their self titled album. Not necessarily like And The Kids, but another listen worthy band I've discovered recently that I'm trying to tell anyone and everyone about! They're like if sonic youth had a baby with the breeders, then that baby went to go on to have ANOTHER baby with Nirvana... Honeyblood would be that baby.

+Tommy Kar looks like a 5 string mandolin or similar. Probably a kit job, look for 'telecaster ukelele kit' and you should be able to find one you can build.
