Right on my friend. My dad of 62 seems to be having the same problem. Ahhh Sleeps over rated anyway right. 😂 I’ll be burning the midnight lamp with ya friend
I'm 63...I'm a Fanboy for this lovely young singer-songwriter. I have tickets to see her...five months in advance. I haven't been to a performance venue in Decades...I think it was Ricky Skaggs. I too am from W. Va...so proud of this little lady...her stage presence is monstrous...her soul bares through her human facade...she was obviously chosen by The Creator to Sing for us.
@@danielthompson8306 No doubt about it, this little gal is a big bright shiny star! I stumbled upon her about 8 months ago and not only love listening to her music but also love watching her perform. I can't wait to see her in concert.

I am speechless. and according to my friends, that's very rare. I just stumbled onto Sierra yesterday and wow. what talent. and her musicians are so top notch. That old timey music and VOICE , my goodness. And when she looked straight into the camera, "bout buckled my knees lol
Hard to find a better 20 minutes to happily drift into the wonderfully simple sounds of mid century Americana...her music and vibe are a treasure. These songs of hers carry such traditional, old texture - and respect for the catalogue of that era - that they are new and original and all her own. Then add to that her mojo, her edgy, yet endearing appearance, and that voice...just a 100% talented sensation...with a ridiculously good duo accompanying her. Man o man.
Sierra has that same "it" factor as Norah Jones and Amy Winehouse, once in a generation type presence and talent, and timeless. She also seems to mix up her band like Norah does. Hopefully she plays again with Audrey and Nate. Transcendent shit! They do Walkin down the line, and those harmonies bring tears to my eyes.
Rode a motorcycle in 30 degree weather for hours to see her and Nate Leath and Audrey MacAlpine live in Huntsville a few months ago. It was a very intimate concert with only 20-30 people in the room. What an experience! She is a tour de force.
Funny at 1:21 when Nate and Audrey exchange the look of lovers, then go right back to "we're playing for Sierra" They are partners, which is a great balance to Sierra (the wild woman)
They haven’t gotten ahold of Billy, given he’s pretty traditional bluegrass and jamgrass so more of a safe haven for him. She seems cool and like she knows where she wants to go by my brief Instagram interactions with her.
I've revisited videos all across youtube where i accidentally clicked dislike on my phone and had to fix it. I can't imagine what it's like to not enjoy this music
Sierra is the real deal, she's true blue in a sea full of inauthentic 'artists'. Her voice and guitar style are so unique, a total pleasure to listen to.
Am I the only person so afflicted, but I can't get more than twelve seconds into a song of hers before a big smile comes across my face and the tears start to flow? Happy pain.
Happened to be surfin' thru TH-cam and I came across Sierra Ferrell singing "Elk River Blues". I'm now a fan! Sierra, you have to most unique voice I've ever heard. Beautiful and powerful. I wish you all the success in the universe and I'll be along for the ride from now on!
I dig the whole thing. The whole band kills it. I'm a guitar player, so, I'll focus there: Sierra...man. It's a beautiful thing you do. I love when performers accompany their vocals with guitar melody lines on the guitar. The combination of everything that you do, and the sensitivity of the players behind you makes it just flat out devastating to listen to you all perform. Thank you all. This was beautiful.
Sierra deserves a good man that bends over backwards to appreciate and love her unconditionally. You are so deserving of the best. We adore you so much. Please come to Jefferson County WV.
My lordy. Just sublime the three of them. Sierra's voice is purity personified, kinda like a female Jimmie Rodgers a 100 years later. Her guitar work is not dissimilar either.
Sierra is the best, authentic singer/songwriter to hit this country in many a year. Aren't we lucky to see and hear it all happen. All of this is classic already. Music history right in front of us. What a truly wonderful voice Sierra has. Sierra can just pull you in with her emotional vocal magnets. I am sure that nearly all who hear her just once fall in love with Sierra and her music.
