The discovery situation was of course staged, I can understand that. But what really makes me doubt the authenticity of the restoration is the ease with which the screw on the door opened. Greetings from Germany!
Most diecast are zinc alloy so they dont rust i have had my share of diecast that have been left outside by my granddaughters and never had one rust except for a few from the 70's that they never touched again .
My parents had a 1954 Caddy that I named Jenny. Poor Jenny was wrecked by a 1955 Chevy, another car & a street light post back in 1961. She was robin egg blue with a royal blue top two door. I miss her still.
Only those who have ever held something really rusty in their hands know that this sounds very fake, the result is incredible, but the process is questionable.
This is so fake. If the toy had been sitting in water all that time, surely there would be pitting and rust holes in the metal. The way he took the wheels off. Did anyone else notice how clean and pristine the spindles were? How come they weren't rusted also. Nah, this is so fake.
Every time I find something cool like this outside, it's missing 3 of 4 tires or it's been run over by a car or it's missing a door or a bunch of plastic parts.
I would have enjoyed this more if you had taken more care of the pieces, rather than throwing and slamming them around. You caused more damage in the process.
Hay una posibilidad entre cien millones de que te encuentres un coche abandonado en el lecho de un rio desde hace tiempo, con todas las piezas sueltas y que no falte ninguna y esten todas juntas. 😂
It’s a fake, it’s not the same car. At the moment of the painting we see one of the repairs on the driver’s side door threshold, and at the time of reassembly it disappeared 12:02 . Not to mention the original wheels that are just by chance in his stock...
All fake: 2 models bought - 1 messed up and covered in fake rust just the model is a diescast in zinc WHICH DOES NOT RUST - then tingled around with the broken one and finally presented the one which was left untouched. And WOW! What a coincidence: he found exactly the correct wheel 'n axle set in his stash ... - anyway seems it works for generating followers ...
Amazing how, underneath the “rust”,the metal surface was near perfect.

Of course It Is fake , these "restorations" are Always something made on purpose
The rust looks like it smells like BBQ Sauce, this is a fake.
Yeah dude the backstory has a stench to it
So fake.
Конечно это подделка! Алюминий не ржавеет
If it was real it would have been in the water, not sitting on the rocks like that. This is staged.
Nah you just hungry bro 😂😂😂
Others: that model car can’t be restored.
Mr. Restore: hold my beer.
Excellent restoration of the 1953 Cadillac Eldorado.

HAHAHAHAHAHA. El auto esta "oxidado" pero el eje de las ruedas y el metal de la carroceria debajo de la pintura, estan perfectos.
I enjoyed it very much, bravo

How do they leave these cars?
Great work

The end result is not the same car as at the beginning of the video!
04:41 What is in the bottle?
some bullshit right there. you spent more time making it look crap to begin with and pretending to find it outside.
The “rust” haha
😲👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sorry to say it but I don't think it's the same car. Looks like he took a Cadillac apart and put it back together.

Not enough left to work with. 🤨
The front and the rear of the car were totally out of alignment. Suddenly they came in line. Fake restoration on this count.
Badly staged with fake damage.
This is so fake.
Is this a joke? Supposed to be real or something to laugh at?
Real
