WOW, I've seen hundreds if not thousands of restorations at this point and this is one of the most ingenious devices I've ever seen. My first thought was how does it work, and then I wondered how would you get a random outcome each time to even make this entertaining to people? I should have never worried, as this come from an age were people took pride in what was built, and this is a great testament to their ingenuity. The restoration done was top shelf and thanks so much for showing this, as the way this works is truly mind blowing to me.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I completely agree-this device is truly a marvel of ingenuity from a bygone era. The Gee Wiz horse racing game was likely produced in the late 1920s to early 1930s in England, a time when even simple toys were crafted with great creativity and engineering. Its mechanism uses a flywheel and steel balls to randomly propel the horses forward, adding an unpredictable element that makes the game exciting to watch and play.
It’s fascinating to see how much thought went into the design, even down to creating a random outcome for each race to keep it entertaining. I’m thrilled you enjoyed the restoration, and I really appreciate your kind words about the work I put into bringing this piece of history back to life. It’s amazing to see how much these vintage games continue to captivate us even today!

I'm more of the fan of older ones back when people would sand things by hand and paint them with normal paint now its all sand blasting and powder coating which is to easy to do.

      @@MWRestoration🔴 What Is Islam?
🔴 Islam is not just another religion.
🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God.
🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone.
🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine.
🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:
📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) 📚

It makes me wonder who they think they're fooling, I may have been born at night, but it wasn't LAST night.🤔🤨🤦

Glad to see I am not the only one that spills powder coat powder when trying to fill a bottle. I guess I could use a funnel. However I bought and found some bottles that were the correct thread sizes for my gun and now just change bottles instead of emptying them and refill for each color. With that stated, you did a very respectable restoration on the interesting horse race game. And you could even use some wax or similar lubricant to change which horse wins each time... Thumbs Up!
