I love customers who are polite, they make everything so much easier. How hard is it to be kind? Employees make mistakes no one is perfect. I don’t deal with rude customers, like pls chill out it’s JUST McDonald’s😂😂
I worked there 5 years and quit July 16th this year. In those 5 years I broke down in tears from sheer frustration and anger around 5 times, was talked to like I was garbage because I wasn't a perfect food robot, walked out once a year ago because they left us with only me and one manager to do everything when a nearby drive in let out and the drive thru was around the building packed with drunk abusive assholes beeping and cussing at me at the window and over the headset then one threw change at my face and I put the headset down and walked out but had to go back because I had no other option, and the straw that broke the camel's back was dealing with even more abusive assholes because we had to require masks if people came in to order and every other customer wanted to throw a fit over it and of course they put me on front counter and made me have to enforce it and if I didn't I'd get in trouble with a manager but if I did I had to endure the abuse for it while any manager nearby would ignore it and let it happen. And *during the corona virus* when people called in they would make them actually come to the store anyways to get their temperature taken to prove they were sick. All that combined with the fact I'd always come in and bust my ass to get the ridiculous amount of stuff they wanted me to do done and still having co-workers talk shit about me or nit picking at some tiny thing I didn't get done sent me over the edge and I had to quit before I had a nervous breakdown
Ong i had to teach my self everything or look at how people do anything’s they put me on table and I’m like ion know how to make anything!!! Then put me on fryer when sum one go on break and I’m like I’m new I don’t know how to work everything smh 🤦🏾♂️
i had the same exact situation happen to me with the 79 cent lady and she grabbed my arm and yelled at me and was like “SWEETHEART I SAID A 79 SENIOR NOT A SMALL” 😂
I got yelled at about my hair being colored when another girl had colored hair but it was i wig so they didn't say anything about it and my manager was a sexist who always made me do lobby
As a retail worker, it’s too easy for folks to snap their fingers at me, demand I get them something off a shelf, and even come into the back room screaming for someone to get them something off a shelf. One time, my coworker heard a customer trespass in the back room and although she tried to be quiet, the guy still yelled, “I know there’s someone back here, I can hear you!” But it just makes you appreciate the people who are baseline polite and say thank you many times during an interaction.
I've been working at McDonald's for a few months now and it hasn't been too bad so far, but that's probably only because I have a few decent managers. All of the managers that I love are starting to put in their two weeks so I'm not sure how working is going to be after they leave
I had an elderly lady at the drive-thru once.. (very religious I assume) Because she refused to pay her total, until we changed it, since her order came to $6.66..
I never worked at one, but similar (casual dining) and the level of respect is usually based on a sense of entitlement. If a hotel has a rewards program, most guests feel like they can treat anyone like crap and get away with it. I've served on banquet lines and had people throw a cornbread back at me, I told them I have a gun, shovel and no witnesses - they won't be missed.
I was gradually pushed out of there last December, they constructively dismissed me after 33 yrs of service! I had debilitating migraines all my life and now all of a sudden, they had a problem with it, this location is Derry and gore way in mississauga
I work over at BK and Ik why they asked for fresh. It's because the people in the back don't always care so they send out older product so it's hard or cold or tastes pretty bad.
Yup I worked there last year and it was horrible, hated it, now I work at a supermarket, but yeah they literally gave me zero holiday when I was there and I worked there for 9 months. So I said when I handed in my notice I said I’m not gonna show up and instead take the holiday I’m owed, they flat out said no and then I just stopped showing up, that place was miserable.
im 5 mounths almoust and i tryed to quit by phone they beged me to please come back i was 2 days after that doing drunk to work hoping they fire me like these but not.
Weekly, I go to my usual McDonald's. I order the the usual meals of the menu and see the usual employees over there. One time, I walk up to the register and saw a new employee. I told what I want to order and I said, "The Big Mac Meal." She was confused and baffled what is a Big Mac, and told me to say it again. I said it again and was still confused looking on the register screen. She told another employee to do my order and did it correctly. In mind, I was thinking, "Seriously? You work at McDonald's and don't the meals name??? Especially the popular one??"
@MissX W on my first day of training they just threw me in and it was super busy . i got put on register and they just pointed out what to put and what to say . i was so confused and messed up like one or twice and they took me off register and put me on counter . LIKE WHAT? i didn’t even know the menu or how to take orders and one of the customers were getting fustrated with me bcz how long i was taking to find the things like i’m sorry it’s not my fault they just threw me in with no experience whatsoever. my coworkers r great tho , and so are my managers it was just a busy day i just wished they would’ve trained me more . and i’m getting the hang of it already after almost 3 weeks of working there but it’s really frustrating getting rude customers all the time , they have no idea lol
Before I started the video, I honestly thought, 'IDK why managers want to spend their lives in fast food, but I'm not staying forever! Fast food jobs are hetic!"
You know I personally have worked 7 months today and while I have my issue with some people my managers are fine. Some of the rules are dumb but easily followed. I feel like mine understand the struggle as everyone started as a crew member and had to work up i think it actually humbled them they understand the struggle we experience. My only issue is pay and lack of speed I was supposed to be a crew trainer yet they are very slow on making changes. Fast food is an ever changing thing you need to be fast and adapt. Our whole team complains about the pay but they are slow to make any changes I understand they have to go through their supervisors to make any changes yet they own 25 stores you think it would be faster as they are one of the bigger franchise owners
Hey bro I used to work at Safeway a long time ago like 11 years ago I hated working there because I have to interacting with rude customers and of course have to agreed and smile with them even though they are arrogant lazy mean rude and after working in Safeway from 2009 to 2010 as courtesy clerk I moved to internship job as office clerk I am so happy I don't have to interacting with rude customers anymore! I want peace and quiet and never ever work with customer service ever again just letting you know bro! P.S, not just seniors customers don't need to be grumpy towards employees, also young gens customers needs to be stop harassing, threatening, and acting violence towards employees, patrons in any restaurants because I seen them all!
i was also working in McHell in Finland Helsinki for 3 months and it was horrible actually horrible is too easy word i can related for this video thumbs up for this brother and big respect
My mom won’t let me quit until the end of the summer unless I find a really good paying job (then maybe she’d change her mind). I don’t want to be a quitter, but this job has me dreading my entire summer. I’m just praying God can either use me at McDonald’s or find me a better job lol

I was there for 2 and a 1/2 years but then I quit. I work at Dairy Queen now which is a lot slower and easier to work for I'm more fun. I will say that McDonald's was actually supportive of my disability better than Costco. Which I did the sample department for Costco.
Im only 3 days in and i hate it especially working the grill because i feel like im trapped for the shit they mske you do for the little pay they give you isnt even enough to survive on, dont get me wrong My managers are amazing , a few of my coworkers are amaing but if youre like me and hsve severe mental health issues I DO not recommend this job, i always go tobthe bsthroom bsfore my shift to cry because i feel like a failure
Drunk people and people that are stoned are the worst .I work back bubble which is the outer lane and trying to take their order when they’re high it takes five minutes ,and then you have your bosses going what’s going on what’s going on Why is taking so long. Meanwhile you have another customer that’s pulled up that’s trying to pay out their order .In your other ear as you’re trying to deal with dumbasses at the window who can’t find their money and I’m trying to take another order from another person and then I got my boss yelling at me in both.My soul dies a little every day .
I worked at McDonald's for a year. It was super stressful with low pay, I worked in the kitchen. I eventually quit and started at a and w which was a much better work environment I worked there full time for the last 1.5 years and just recently got another Monday to Friday job at a factory for $16.25 an hour I still work the odd weekend at a and w
I just quit my job at Mcds am looking for a new one. Management was horrible and really immature. I actually loved the customers since we had a lot of regulars but it was just a horrible work environment. I understand dude.💯🤦
I lasted a year I quit then my relative made me come back and now I’m quitting without a two weeks they don’t give af about my mental health at all I’ve told my relative how much I hate it there and they da don’t give af so ima just quit
I get that people get treated shitty but you can’t expect to get paid more for a job that requires no skills and that anyone can do, it’s not supposed to be a living job it’s supposed to be temporary, you want a living job, learn some skills and increase your value as a worker, it might sound harsh, but it’s reality🤦🏼♀️ Lol i love old people and their bluntness, wish our generation had inherited more of that personality
i mean i obviously don’t work here anymore but since the video has posted anyway most mcdonald’s have began paying out starting at $11-13 an hour anyway
@@Givenofficial that’s good i hope you moved to a better job, howewer $11-$13 an hour is not bad, there is a reason why machines are able to do that job, because it doesn’t require much skills and it’s more profitable for companies in the long run. I know it’s harsh but that’s the truth, if you ever do become a business owner you will understand that corporations can handle the increase of wage cause they pass off that cost to the customer, but small businesses however cannot
I worked at McDonald’s for 2 years in the UK. Was okay to begin with and during the time I was there. But had to go after 2 years as management got worse, customers rude, never felt recognised for my hard work, felt like I was treated like a robot. But Yh left and don’t think I’ll go back 💯💯
So I needed a job QUICK I went in poured my heart out to the hiring manager and I was immediately hired I couldn't believe it I was so sure she was just pulling my leg Anyway The next day I show up with uniform pants and work shoes Fill out some stuff on the computer And presto I was now working at McDonalds (I felt really grateful she didn't hassle me about why I'd quit other jobs since I had experience and just hired me) This guy trained me and that was my first day So my position was front counter My goodness I literally hardly did ANYTHING I just stood there waiting for customers I'd had plenty of fast food jobs before I was not used to just standing there I didn't have to clean the dining room I didnt have to check the parking lot I didnt take out orders I just stood there waiting for orders Mornings till like 4 This lady that worked there An older lady She really didnt seem to like me for whatever reason She literally shook my arm because she wanted me to do something when the manager had already given me a task I was doing I didn't disrespect her even though she was wrong and I just played dumb and said "Oh okay" She told me to my face "I dont think you're going to last here very long. You know why? Because you like to do things your way!" Like wow I mean it's not like I was planning on being here for an extended amount of time, geez I just wanted a job That was the first week But then the second week things began to take a toll I had to make sure to eat before work because duh So I woke up an hour and a half before my shift to make something healthy and nutritious at home I was NOT going to eat anything from McDonalds There is nothing nutritious and besides eating McDonalds makes me feel sick after Getting to work and having the rest of the day off was GREAT But the emotional toll on my already fragile psyche was too much to bare Every morning making freaking coffees So many regulars This one regular was such a little bitch I hate people that talk all holy but you can see what a piece of shit they really are It is very tiring to fucking speak with a plastic barrier in the way and barely hearing what the customer is saying I messed up things here and there and I hate messing up Like this one lady no matter how hard I tried to get her order right SOMETHING beyond my control would not allow it Like seriously I charged her for the wrong $6 special and she already had waited a long time Then next time I saw her I was determined to get it right She orderd her usual Frappe and two apple pies Wouldn't you know it We were out of apple pies So there I go having to say sorry it's going to be a 4 minute wait She didnt mind she never seemed to mind and was forgiving but I felt like such a damn fool! I really wanted to get it right but outside forces kept saying NO SON I was off Friday I got everything ready for the next day Even had some food prepared to eat before work in the am Saturday morning came and my instinct I had to listen to my instinct If I went to work I'd have to be there miserable and force myself to act happy when I was not So I didnt go to work I absolutely understand it's not right to do that To not call To not give an explanation as to why Or let them know I wasn't going to come in But i just dont have it in me to do so I'm ashamed since the hiring manager hired me and gave me all my hours I dont have it in me to tell her I want to quit I'm not happy Turns out I dont need the job as bad as I thought I did etc She called me Saturday morning I didnt answer I obviously didnt show up Sunday either As far as they know I just dissapeared I'm NOT even concerned with picking up the check for the hours I worked I'm not going to How could I I dont have it in me to say I quit How disgusting would it be for me to demand a check I figure it's my punishment to myself for just quitting without notice etc. I don't deserve it because i was hired was given all 40 hours and just didnt show up and that's that Another burned bridge Being there though I learnec ALLOT about who I am NOW The world People I saw how Doordash works and that's my next endeavour hopefully I really believe it was my destiny Even though $10 an hour is good to me Apparently its not So I believe I ended up there so I could see that I'm not a teen anymore and I dont have it in me to serve people and put on a smile when I'm absolutely anxious and dying inside So yeah that's my story
I work there now and it’s kinda okay. Except I was only trained on 2 stations and have trained myself on like 6 different stations 😂. And my feet hurt…a lot
I get what you're saying. Customers suck. Ive been there. Worked nearly 5 years at a grocery store where customers were huge dickheads and management didnt do anything. Ive always gave my 100% but got in trouble when I spoke back professionally to customers that were being dicks. It is what it is. However, I've noticed a huge drop in McDonalds customer service in the last 10 years. The place where "service with a smile" and "smiles are free" started is no longer a thing. You can't get anyone's attention that works there anymore and when you do; you get a "im not getting paid enough for this" attitude. One of the last times I went I waited 45 minutes in a drive threw for a coffee for it to be cold (not luke warm) when I got it and when I was more than polite to the person serving me; he said I had to go back around in the line to get it fixed. So basically 1.5 hours for a coffee. He at least gave me a refund but he was swearing at me the entire time and threw the change at me (is that assault). I called the owner and he didn't care at all. This is the main reason why I refuse to go to any McDonald's anymore. They really couldn't care less about you so I'd rather spend my hard earned money elsewhere.
Fast food employees should not make more money, however, they should be treated with respect. I do not understand how some people can be such shit heads to a complete stranger.
I worked at a grocery store and was treated like shit a lot. A lot of Karen's make complaints for nothing and you get in shit because they are assholes. Whenever I spoke intellectually to them when they complained I'd still get in trouble (wouldn't happen now a days). People suck! I work IT now and you should see how dumb people can get. Thats how it is unfortunately. Everyone should be treated with respect but employees these days (all part time type jobs) have a "I dont give a shit" attitude and it seems now they are allowed to rudely talk back to customers without repercussions. Getting served cold food that you've waited 45 minutes for but then getting rudely told to wait back in line shouldn't happen amongst a huge list of things.
I work for an amazing manager at a mexican restaurant and she is SO nice to customers unless they get physical, then she chokes their ass out. I watched her take down this violent rapper dude the other day and she made him her bitch, he was begging her to stop when she had her knee crushing his neck, then the ambulance came and took his crying ass away lmfao :)

Also there was this elderly couple that fucking judge me because I’m gay and they said I act girly like if u wanna say something about me say it to my face
Hopefully it’s better than where I was at. I’ve been to some great mcdonalds where it was fresh food and managed efficiently and other where I worked where it was pretty hit or miss on either end of the spectrum

I also love it when the passenger tries to make the order and you can’t hear them and then they get mad and start yelling at you and you’re like I can’t hear you. you’re a fuckingpassenger you’re not the driver you’re not the one next to the speaker “In my head “,.and then pull up to my lane I’m gonna pay you out and you get an attitude I’m sorry no fucks given you’re not the driver don’t pull up and then you do all the ordering from the passenger side like where is some sci-fi world where I can hear you .so fuck McDonald’s
Sorry to hear you've had a lot of knobs acting really bad. Throwing a tea because the order was wrong is seriously messed up. I know people make mistakes, there's no excuse for rudeness. All people need to say is you messed up, can you change it please. Well presented but agree you did make your intro long. Good work dude.
60 seconds or less . If you don’t know what I’m talking about go through the drive-through at McDonald’s from 5 AM to 9 AM with a skeleton crew which is one person in the back bubble one person in the kitchen and the manager that is running the front which is front bubble counter kiosk everything. And then we get to handle Out a little timer from back bubble .But if you don’t get your food in 60 seconds you get free food because some asshole at the office who didn’t have anything due that day came up with this brilliant F**cking Idea . But don’t forget we get written up for this shit . MN small town came up with this and wants this globally . Do you not work for McDonald’s .I’m already looking for another job.
I never worked in mcdonalds my whole life and never will lol. Dealing with humans is the one thing I don't like and in my job currently I find that anoyying from time to time. So having customers do stupid shit. No thanks.
the turn over is no accident. its a revolving door. McDonalds will hire trash and they will pay them the minimum on the bases of their record. they will hire kids and pay us the bear minimum on the bases of no experience. don't spend more than a year here on this hell on earth. You are better than this mega corp. Even if you think you have no way out and need to be a wagie to live then you are not living at all. Anyone can do better.
I also quit my job. I hate mcd bcz no one teach me anything after 2 days i quit it
Ong i had to teach my self everything or look at how people do anything’s they put me on table and I’m like ion know how to make anything!!! Then put me on fryer when sum one go on break and I’m like I’m new I don’t know how to work everything smh 🤦🏾♂️
@@dmarion2x how’s your job now??
i had the same exact situation happen to me with the 79 cent lady and she grabbed my arm and yelled at me and was like “SWEETHEART I SAID A 79 SENIOR NOT A SMALL” 😂
Oof
I got yelled at about my hair being colored when another girl had colored hair but it was i wig so they didn't say anything about it and my manager was a sexist who always made me do lobby
Yeah they throw me in lobby too and all you do is stand there telling people to follow the lines and they look at you like a total eejit.
I only lasted a month🙁 they kept pressuring me to master taking orders my first week there
Miss working in a store now, and thx, I know not to get a McJob there
I've been working at McDonald's for a few months now and it hasn't been too bad so far, but that's probably only because I have a few decent managers. All of the managers that I love are starting to put in their two weeks so I'm not sure how working is going to be after they leave
I had an elderly lady at the drive-thru once.. (very religious I assume) Because she refused to pay her total, until we changed it, since her order came to $6.66..
👹 😁😂🤣😂🤣😁
I never worked at one, but similar (casual dining) and the level of respect is usually based on a sense of entitlement. If a hotel has a rewards program, most guests feel like they can treat anyone like crap and get away with it. I've served on banquet lines and had people throw a cornbread back at me, I told them I have a gun, shovel and no witnesses - they won't be missed.
Hiiii. I'm already 3 months there and I badly want to resign :((((
Today was day 3 and they stuck me in the heat of a rush hour doing McAfee drinks it was super stressful I'm stressed Al the time lol
I was gradually pushed out of there last December, they constructively dismissed me after 33 yrs of service! I had debilitating migraines all my life and now all of a sudden, they had a problem with it, this location is Derry and gore way in mississauga
I quit working there cause verbal abuse is rampant and tolerated....
Hello sir I have a question how I can get a work in McDonald's what they required or does they want degree?? Please help me reply
mcdonald’s is the epitome of having a job, you literally need to be able to just communicate. it’s the easiest, most basic job you could ever get.
@@Givenofficial but I am not from USA so how can get job ?
@@salimalbalushi2202 just go to the Mcd and ask
@@salimalbalushi2202 go talk to them and they will tell you
I still feel bad giving you all my change that one day 😂
Lol, people realllllly love throwing things at you!!!
I work over at BK and Ik why they asked for fresh. It's because the people in the back don't always care so they send out older product so it's hard or cold or tastes pretty bad.
No lmao they meant like
Not McDonald’s chicken
Gabe Fitch a customer ordered a quarter pounder, the patty was fresh off the grill and she sent it back and asked for a fresh one. I’m like bitch what
Yup I worked there last year and it was horrible, hated it, now I work at a supermarket, but yeah they literally gave me zero holiday when I was there and I worked there for 9 months. So I said when I handed in my notice I said I’m not gonna show up and instead take the holiday I’m owed, they flat out said no and then I just stopped showing up, that place was miserable.
I want to quit so bad I’m 16 and been working there for 2 weeks and they expect me to know everything 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
literally the worst i mean i have some good memories with a few coworkers but after my favorite manager left i was like bye lmfao 😐🤚🏻
Stay strong my guy its kinda hard at first but it will get easier
@@youtubemanswagroy212 it got easier but I’m putting in my 2 weeks soon cus I got another job
@@Niccameupp same but i left last week
I'm starting a job at McDonalds and I'll comment in a few weeks or months to see if I have any similar experiences
it’s not all bad but it’s been awhile since i’ve worked there myself.. good luck
i feel disrespected as a warehouse guy and it helps me to see that other people feel the same way and its not just me
It's really ironic I had an uber McDonalds ad right before watching this video
im 5 mounths almoust and i tryed to quit by phone they beged me to please come back i was 2 days after that doing drunk to work hoping they fire me like these but not.
Especially the popular one??"
it’s literally #1 on the menu and it’s on the POS as #1 idk how she missed that 😂
@MissX W on my first day of training they just threw me in and it was super busy . i got put on register and they just pointed out what to put and what to say . i was so confused and messed up like one or twice and they took me off register and put me on counter . LIKE WHAT? i didn’t even know the menu or how to take orders and one of the customers were getting fustrated with me bcz how long i was taking to find the things like i’m sorry it’s not my fault they just threw me in with no experience whatsoever. my coworkers r great tho , and so are my managers it was just a busy day i just wished they would’ve trained me more . and i’m getting the hang of it already after almost 3 weeks of working there but it’s really frustrating getting rude customers all the time , they have no idea lol
Before I started the video, I honestly thought, 'IDK why managers want to spend their lives in fast food, but I'm not staying forever! Fast food jobs are hetic!"
I work at KFC just started a week ago. And I love it. The people there are really nice and helpful
Same
I have a question how do I go about to quit
Is McD a restaurant or a store? I thought a store was like JC Penney?
Hey bro I used to work at Safeway a long time ago like 11 years ago I hated working there because I have to interacting with rude customers and of course have to agreed and smile with them even though they are arrogant lazy mean rude and after working in Safeway from 2009 to 2010 as courtesy clerk I moved to internship job as office clerk I am so happy I don't have to interacting with rude customers anymore! I want peace and quiet and never ever work with customer service ever again just letting you know bro! P.S, not just seniors customers don't need to be grumpy towards employees, also young gens customers needs to be stop harassing, threatening, and acting violence towards employees, patrons in any restaurants because I seen them all!
my mom would come out of her room yelling at me if I was filming at 2 am😂
I was in the dining room too 😳😂
I feel any kind of worker in the service industry like restaurants, fast food, etc are looking after us and they should be treated respectfully.
I’m thinking about quitting too :(
i was also working in McHell in Finland Helsinki for 3 months and it was horrible actually horrible is too easy word i can related for this video thumbs up for this brother and big respect
My mom won’t let me quit until the end of the summer unless I find a really good paying job (then maybe she’d change her mind). I don’t want to be a quitter, but this job has me dreading my entire summer. I’m just praying God can either use me at McDonald’s or find me a better job lol
Hopefully you found a better job lol
you made me feel so much better when you said “ it was like my thirds day working theree and I didint know what I was doing or the cash register “ because I am working at churches chicken and it’s my third day and I feel the same wayyyyyy 🙄 and the third day it was just me and this other girl working there trying to to take orders like wtf
Keep making videos, keep developing your craft, and keep shinning, you have a gift.
omg they loved throwing stuff at you 😭😭
Drunk people and people that are stoned are the worst .I work back bubble which is the outer lane and trying to take their order when they’re high it takes five minutes ,and then you have your bosses going what’s going on what’s going on Why is taking so long. Meanwhile you have another customer that’s pulled up that’s trying to pay out their order .In your other ear as you’re trying to deal with dumbasses at the window who can’t find their money and I’m trying to take another order from another person and then I got my boss yelling at me in both.My soul dies a little every day .
Mc donald's is a hell, i want to quit but i just can't because i need money 🥲 there's nothing else i can apply on for now.
People need to.be careful throwing stuff. This lady got a BLENDER thrown back at her!!! She got knocked right out of her shoes!!
We love a long intro queen 💙
I just quit my job at Mcds am looking for a new one. Management was horrible and really immature. I actually loved the customers since we had a lot of regulars but it was just a horrible work environment. I understand dude.💯🤦
Thats my same problem.
WE LOVE TEA HERE AT THE #GIVENNATION 💙🤘🏼
Fuck yah
I lasted a year I quit then my relative made me come back and now I’m quitting without a two weeks they don’t give af about my mental health at all I’ve told my relative how much I hate it there and they da don’t give af so ima just quit
I get that people get treated shitty but you can’t expect to get paid more for a job that requires no skills and that anyone can do, it’s not supposed to be a living job it’s supposed to be temporary, you want a living job, learn some skills and increase your value as a worker, it might sound harsh, but it’s reality🤦🏼♀️
Lol i love old people and their bluntness, wish our generation had inherited more of that personality
i mean i obviously don’t work here anymore but since the video has posted anyway most mcdonald’s have began paying out starting at $11-13 an hour anyway
Being rude and assaulting people is not bluntness it is just being an asshole. Nothing "blunt" about that.
I worked at McDonald’s for 2 years in the UK. Was okay to begin with and during the time I was there. But had to go after 2 years as management got worse, customers rude, never felt recognised for my hard work, felt like I was treated like a robot. But Yh left and don’t think I’ll go back 💯💯
So I needed a job QUICK
I went in poured my heart out to the hiring manager and I was immediately hired
I couldn't believe it
I was so sure she was just pulling my leg
Anyway
The next day I show up with uniform pants and work shoes
Fill out some stuff on the computer
And presto I was now working at McDonalds
(I felt really grateful she didn't hassle me about why I'd quit other jobs since I had experience and just hired me)
This guy trained me and that was my first day
So my position was front counter
My goodness
I literally hardly did ANYTHING
I just stood there waiting for customers
I'd had plenty of fast food jobs before
I was not used to just standing there
I didn't have to clean the dining room
I didnt have to check the parking lot
I didnt take out orders
I just stood there waiting for orders
Mornings till like 4
This lady that worked there
An older lady
She really didnt seem to like me for whatever reason
She literally shook my arm because she wanted me to do something when the manager had already given me a task I was doing
I didn't disrespect her even though she was wrong and I just played dumb and said "Oh okay"
She told me to my face
"I dont think you're going to last here very long.
You know why?
Because you like to do things your way!"
Like wow
I mean it's not like I was planning on being here for an extended amount of time, geez I just wanted a job
That was the first week
But then the second week things began to take a toll
I had to make sure to eat before work because duh
So I woke up an hour and a half before my shift to make something healthy and nutritious at home
I was NOT going to eat anything from McDonalds
There is nothing nutritious and besides eating McDonalds makes me feel sick after
Getting to work and having the rest of the day off was GREAT
But the emotional toll on my already fragile psyche was too much to bare
Every morning making freaking coffees
So many regulars
This one regular was such a little bitch
I hate people that talk all holy but you can see what a piece of shit they really are
It is very tiring to fucking speak with a plastic barrier in the way and barely hearing what the customer is saying
I messed up things here and there and I hate messing up
Like this one lady no matter how hard I tried to get her order right
SOMETHING beyond my control would not allow it
Like seriously
I charged her for the wrong $6 special and she already had waited a long time
Then next time I saw her I was determined to get it right
She orderd her usual Frappe and two apple pies
Wouldn't you know it
We were out of apple pies
So there I go having to say sorry it's going to be a 4 minute wait
She didnt mind she never seemed to mind and was forgiving but I felt like such a damn fool!
I really wanted to get it right but outside forces kept saying NO SON
I was off Friday
I got everything ready for the next day
Even had some food prepared to eat before work in the am
Saturday morning came and my instinct
I had to listen to my instinct
If I went to work I'd have to be there miserable and force myself to act happy when I was not
So I didnt go to work
I absolutely understand it's not right to do that
To not call
To not give an explanation as to why
Or let them know I wasn't going to come in
But i just dont have it in me to do so
I'm ashamed since the hiring manager hired me and gave me all my hours
I dont have it in me to tell her I want to quit
I'm not happy
Turns out I dont need the job as bad as I thought I did etc
She called me Saturday morning
I didnt answer
I obviously didnt show up Sunday either
As far as they know
I just dissapeared
I'm NOT even concerned with picking up the check for the hours I worked
I'm not going to
How could I
I dont have it in me to say I quit
How disgusting would it be for me to demand a check
I figure it's my punishment to myself for just quitting without notice etc.
I don't deserve it because i was hired was given all 40 hours and just didnt show up and that's that
Another burned bridge
Being there though I learnec ALLOT about who I am NOW
The world
People
I saw how Doordash works and that's my next endeavour hopefully
I really believe it was my destiny
Even though $10 an hour is good to me
Apparently its not
So I believe I ended up there so I could see that
I'm not a teen anymore and I dont have it in me to serve people and put on a smile when I'm absolutely anxious and dying inside
So yeah that's my story
I dont blame u is stressful asfk especially if u got school n work which is stressing me out rn plus the costumers treat me like shit
Im convinced that McManagers are recruited from psych wards.😂
After watching this i didn’t go to my interview after 1 half hour
DAMN THAT WAS AS ACCURATE AS MY PAST MCDONALDS WOEK EXPERIENCE WAS FR...
I'm working here for 2 years and I can't stand the place anymore.
Ugly face? *THE LIES!*
Ooh damn
You made me feel so much better when you said “ it was my third day day and I didn’t know what I was doing or with the cash register “ Bc it’s my third day working at churches chicken and I feel the same wayyy I was like should I already know this or 🙄 and then the third day it was just me and this one girl trying to take orders like wtf

Horrible stressful place to work I thought retail was bad food is hell
I also love it when the passenger tries to make the order and you can’t hear them and then they get mad and start yelling at you and you’re like I can’t hear you. you’re a fuckingpassenger you’re not the driver you’re not the one next to the speaker “In my head “,.and then pull up to my lane I’m gonna pay you out and you get an attitude I’m sorry no fucks given you’re not the driver don’t pull up and then you do all the ordering from the passenger side like where is some sci-fi world where I can hear you .so fuck McDonald’s
3:09 *Its a tea*
Am scared now. I have my orientation tomorrow 😱😱😱
How is it going?
How is it going?
I've been at mine for 16 years.
Yeah I need to work on cutting the intros down to about 20 seconds 😂 I have a lot to say and not enough time to say it 💁🏻♂️
Given Warner my advice would be script first so you know what points to make.
M R Gaming & Vlogs true! at least enough to get the intro out of the way 😂
see you get it
60 seconds or less .
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS OMG IMMA FAN
🤣❤️
My pops came here from Guatemala and was offered a job in food service as a dishwasher. Him knowing nothing about the us said no. Damn i should have taken a better look at his story.
