Thanks for your Video and share the experience between the two lounges. I got the AMEX Platinum right now and will flight from frankfurt in few weeks. which lounge was better? what is your choice?
Wow! I had no idea about all the interesting layover features available in Europe! Even though it took y'all so long to get there, you still made it fun!
Hot damn, was not expecting any updates for at least a month, I am very excited to watch y’all’s journey. I would like to join y’all one of these days on an adventure
Dang, I should have watched. I had a long overnight layover. I went to passport ppl asked them if it was OK if I just step out then step back in. They said yes and stamped my passport. Spent a few hours outside, tried to come back in early and they wouldn't let me back in the concourse till 5am. If it was daytime I could have seen some sights
I've 'ticked off' 7/8 countries just from enjoying layovers.. never had any issue anyway with going out in the morning then going back through security a few hours later;)
We're hoping to be able to do that as well if we get another long layover in the future! We're bummed to have missed the opportunity, but hopefully covid won't hold us back next time. Frankfurt looked amazing!
Hi, I called the German Consulate and was told US Citizens are allowed to get out of the airport. Could you please share why you couldn't (or didn't) get out of the airport? Thank you!
We were told that to leave the airport we'd need to provide a negative covid test and we didn't have time to do that before we left home. If just passing through, we only needed our vaccination cards. I'm not sure how accurate that info is now, but we decided it would be too much of a hassle so last minute.
@@AFoggyPath OK, that is helpful information! I have an 11-hour layover so I would really love to see Frankfurt during the day. I guess I will have to get tested before flying just to make sure. I hope you had a wonderful trip! Thank you!
I am on a the same flight from Austin to Frankfurt, with an 11 hr layover there. Question, did you not leave on your layover because of regulations or just y’all’s choice? Also any tips for the flight/layover? Thanks!
We didn't leave because at the time we were told we needed a negative covid test and we didn't have time to get that done. We would have loved to go explore Frankfurt for a few hours! Since you've got the layover time, don't be afraid to take the tram to the other terminals and poke around. However, keep in mind that even if you stay in your original terminal, you have to go through another security check so keep that in mind for time. We had no idea and were worried it would make us late. Luckily it was a pretty quick line. Have a great trip!!
They did not. We flew from USA to UK and only needed proof of vaccination. We did not leave the airport and had a very smooth experience! If you'd like to double check, message the airport on Facebook. That's what we did before we left and they were very prompt to answer.

If we had to choose, the Priority Lounge is probably the one we'd pick. The seating was more comfortable, and they had hot food!
@@AFoggyPaththank you so much for your recommendation👋😍
@SK-cu1rs you're welcome!
Omg! You guys this is so awesome! Can't wait to follow more of your adventures!!
Thanks!! I'm hoping to get another video up today or tomorrow!

Oh man, that sucks!! It definitely would have been worth it if you could've gone sightseeing a little.
