We are a husband and wife who love to travel. We've been documenting our past travels on our blog and were supposed to kick off our travel vlog with our honeymoon, but we all know that 2020 had different plans. Instead, we remodeled a duplex during lockdown and then decided to check out our own backyard. In one year, we saw 40 state parks here in Texas! We're excited to see where the next year takes us. It just wasn't something that crossed our minds. We knew there was a time change, but we didn't know how it would be implemented during the crossing. We generally fly, so we deal with the time change once we get to where we're going, haha!

It's on my bucket list! Someone on my mom's side was kept in the hospital ward, but I don't remember what it for or who it was - think it might have been my greata great grandmother when she returned from a visit home to Austria Absolutely amazing idea to turn the individual illness wards (and that amazes me, that each contagious disease had their own ward) in to educational wings for each illness - and a dield trip to it should be required for all the NYC medical schools
It was such an incredible visit! If you're looking for family history, they have a whole section of the museum dedicated to finding your ancestors who came through. You should check it out when you go!

Oh cool! We loved the area there.
At 3:45 one hidden gem on the QM2 is the Atlantic Room, which is adjacent to an observation deck on Deck 11. The Atlantic Room is used for bridge lessons (the card game), but that's only a few hours a week. The rest of the time, it's sitting completely empty. I mention it here, tying it to your comments about the library, because it may prove to be an excellent alternative if you're wanting a quiet space with a view. Of course, you need to bring your own book, but that shouldn't be a major problem for any avid reader.
We'll definitely be checking this out on our next voyage!! It's crazy how much we missed.
