Nice explaination although it's T3 structure it not steroids like but why it's show similar mechanism of action as steroids
If it produce proteins then what?
Subsequent effects depend on proteins themselves. They vary in different cells/organs. For example in liver they affect carbohydrate and fat metabolism, in bone they affect growth etc. For exact details you would need understanding of those particular topics i.e. carbohydrate or fat metabolism. To keep it simple, you can remember all the functions of thyroid hormone that we read are result of these proteins.!
