my heart goes out to you - I hope you're reunited soon - your love is so beautiful - so this reminds me of a lovely quote, hopefully I got it right but you can always google it... "Absence is to love what wind is to fire, it enkindles the great, it extinguishes the weak." Comte de Bussy ( I think)
Hi! I'm in Tampa also, and we evacuated to outside the evacuation zones in a hotel. The hotel lost power, and I was worried I would have to go to the hospital for power. But then we found out that our house never lost power! So we came home Monday afternoon. We did not flood, although our back fence fell over. I'm sorry you can't go home yet, but it's good to wait till you have power. With health issues even staying in a hotel can be stressful. You will get home when the time is right. I'm in "recovery" mode right now, my body is not doing so great as it recovers from all the stress of the past week. Be sure to get lots of rest yourself. ❤️
Your dad is absolutely precious. I love how you still are so optimistic throughout these hard times! I'm glad you're safe and with the people you love most. ❤️ You're such an inspiration to me!! 💞
So glad you've gotten this far now! What a blessing to have parents like yours who love you and want to be involved in your life, struggles and all. You are an inspiration to me. Thank you and God bless you on your hurricane recovery journey.
So glad your dads home and they weren't effected by the hurricane in the hospital! So glad you finally got to really talk to Judd, you looked much happier in the goodnight clip. Even with the non equipment aspect of health its hard to adjust to situations. and thats ok.
Hi Jaquie, glad to see your smiling face. I know you miss you home but you need to be safe and right now it is better to be with your folks. It is hard for us out here in California to see what is happening around us. TEXAS, MEXICO, ORLANDO. We pray for all of you. If you need anything you know you just need to reach out. Patty and Molly.
My friend who evacuated to Orlando made it back home to Tampa. Power is on but her phone and internet and TV are still down. My cousin in Tampa who didn’t have to evacuate is fine. I like your mom Jaquie. She’s so caring and warm. Makes me miss my mom but in a good way. (I mean I miss her and it hurts but it makes me happy to remember her.) She passed away 3 years ago.
So happy to hear things didn't get as bad in your part of Tampa. I usually don't get attached to the TH-camrs I subscribe to but I was genuinely worried about your trip to Orlando and hoping that your shipment of infusion supplies didn't get delayed. I'm truly relieved and happy to see you and Judd made it through ok. My husband and I were in the heart of Hurricane Harvey when he went through so I was really worried about the size of Irma. Thanks for keeping up with the vlogs through everything! You're so inspiring and I hope things are ok when you get back home.
I absolutely related to what you said about your environment being set up for your illness. I say that all the time because when I am out of my environment it's stressful trying to keep up with my meds, my rest, my diet and so my health begins to suffer. Glad you're with your parents and in a more comfortable environment
I fully understand the feeling of rather being at home! I have all my medicines and my crutches and other stuff througout my appartment! I can do more in my own home...
Jaquie, i know this wasn't your plan to go home but i am really happy you get to spend this time with your dad. It appears while this was not the best you were surrounded by silver linnings and i am greatful for your suppot system.
Be safe ..the pups will miss each other. You two lovely ladies are in my prayers. So great that your parents still get along. Your momma is so sweet. My husband is retired USAF 21 yrs. I know that your proud of Judd. Hugs too y'all and much love🐾🐕🙏🇺🇸💕💖💜🐶🙏🙏💞💞
Next time you talk to Judd, please tell him that we thank him for his service and we keep him in our thoughts during the recovery efforts. Tell him to stay safe! ~south Florida resident!
So glad everyone else is safe and you got to talk to Judd , and so happy your dad is alright that's great news. Praying for your home to be okay too. Hugs to all
I have friend near Orlando with Lyme disease. She was really feeling bad during the hurricane.Luckily my friend in Middlebur,g did not get flooded, but still is without power.
Thank you for sharing! I've only been watching for a few days now and am a new subscriber. I suffer chronic illness as well. It's amazing to me the strength and support system you have. I pray your home is not damaged and you have electricity restored soon! Your parents are divorced, right? Mom's boyfriend was in a previous video? It's amazing how they can be civil to each other - you are very blessed!
The eye of the hurricane went straight over my hometown. Its the first time in history that happened and and the damage is unbelievable. Power line broke in half huge trees were uprooted and I have friends that have to find new homes because theirs were badly damaged. There is flooding everywhere and almost all of the city lost power. Some have been told it could be up to 2 weeks before they get power back.
Not really in my room, the most important places for the mask are: 1) Outside with all my known environmental allergens. 2) In areas with lots of people carrying potentially contagious germs that could make me really sick. But fun fact! With IVIG, we are hoping my immune system will become stronger and eventually I will not need to wear my mask in crowded areas as much. But will will have to wait and see what my blood work shows (:
Blessings and many gentle hugs. Stress is so bad right now and I broke down this morning. My dad gave me a really good hug. I am not in any hurricane zones, but smoke has been horrible at times in Wyoming from fires. Crohn's, Asthma, Arthritis is going nuts, ugh. Anyways my uncle is dying from an aggressive brain tumor and my parents, another aunt and I are heading 5 1/2 hours away to go to him and family. I am am also in process of moving out of parents to ADA apartment. I need some recovery time. Stress and the harshness to our bodies when we go through disasters or tragedies. My uncle is a Vietnam war veteran and was exposed to agent orange. Just need a really good cry but I am afraid I will not be able to stop.
Janelle Wingert OFS let it out! It is totally OK and absolutely needed to feel those emotions when we have to do. I totally understand what you're going through a, we all do. It is a part of being human. I pray that you find peace soon ❤
I wanted to say I think your awesome and so inspirational Harlow is gorgeous and so clever, I know what you mean about being at home I hated when I'm admitted to hospital I mean there's a teen unit and it's amazing but it's just not home! Xx
Your dad is so lovely. I know you said that you grew up in England but I didn't assume he was British. Hope you can all rest and recover from your hectic week.
You know what is weird. I never thought I'd get a storm (I live far away form Florida) that would be residual from a hurricane. I was wrong. Today we had warning in my area that Irma's remains were hitting our area. Flood warning all morning and most of the day. It was weird to know it could hit me several states away so I feel horrified you guys had to deal with a much worse version of it but I'm glad it wasn't like Hurricane Harvey at all. Yet the real irony is that my town I live in is named 'Hurricane' so locals like me were just finding it fully and truly amusing.
You should have someone check the inside of your house because if it did get wet, it will start to get moldy very quickly. If you don't dry it out right away it will take you longer to be able to move back in because of the health risk.
Jaquie I saw this comment from someone so this is unoriginal, but one commenter said she had lost power previously, but when she contacted the power company and because of her chronic illnesses she was placed on a special list which allowed her to get back home sooner, I was wondering if this would be something you could do/consider.
oh and also im sure you miss your husband alot things will start to get better and when hes back in your arms you will see when you do good you see good stay strong
Praying power will come back on very soon in Tampa Bay! Sending lots of love to you and your family! So glad you all are safe! Will you have to go see your doctor to reschedule your IVIG appointment? Fingers crossed you'll know soon :)

In your All About Harlow video, you mention that one of your previous potential service dogs (I think it was the one right before Harlow and he got sick?) was living with your dad (if I remember correctly lol). Is he still living with your dad? Or does he live somewhere else now?
I love the way you thought about it in terms of components. I think that's brilliant. I really dig the way you think in general, I love your logic and reasoning and clear communication. You seem high above average in terms of intelligence. How much do you think Autism affects the way you think about things and do you find it helpful at all? PS I LOVE BOBS BURGERS!!
Aviva Reim Bob's Burgers is the best! 😜 And I think my autism has made me very logical. I like that about me. I'm also book smart, but lack common sense at times lol.
I like that about you too, and about me - I am very into logic. And common sense isn't so common, so don't worry about that too too much, its something you build up over a lifetime. OK SO - I am OBSESSED with Bobs Burgers! I have worn my Louise ears to work a few times - do you have a pair or want one? I could send you some :) Which character do you relate to the most? I got to see a live reading by the cast once and there were all these other people in their 20s/30s in costumes just going nuts for it -- it was so rad

Can you please tell me what city your dad is from? Is a a Londoner? I'm just curious because I am interested in the different accents of England. My grandma was from Davenham, Cheshire and sounds closer to a Liverpool accent.
I'm sorry you weren't able to go home, but at least you're with family.. even tho Paul and Janece ARE the next best thing to family😉 I know it's "easy" (lol.. that's sarcasm) to go for a weekend away... but not howdy! It sure does feel good to get home!
I love how your family really loves Judd. When your dad said Judd was missing that made me smile :) Hope you can return home soon
Us too, we miss him!

Wow, what a huge, beautiful house Janice has.
That was very nice that you were able to stay there.

You have such a wonderful family. Everytime I see your dad especially I get so happy. He's so sweet. Glad he's feeling better.
It's SO nice that your parents get along well. How lovely that your Mom looked after your Dad while he was in the hospital. That's very impressive.
They are selfless people, I really look up to them!
My friend who evacuated to Orlando made it back home to Tampa. Power is on but her phone and internet and TV are still down. My cousin in Tampa who didn’t have to evacuate is fine.

I have to say, I almost cried when your dad said "Hello beautiful" 💖 I'm so happy to see him doing better :)

I have heard about terrible damage like that, I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you and your community
If you stay in hotels, do you have to wear your mask the whole time or are they clean enough for your immunodeficiency?
That is a good question Jessica,
Jessica Braunscheidel good question
Jessica Braunscheidel good Question! Also sensory issues..
Erica VK She said when things calm down healthwise. That was a while ago though, can't remember the vlog.... sorry.

Harlow and Orion were so bummed when they realized they had to separate
It was SO nice to see your Dad!! He looks good!!
I was at Texas when hurricane Harvey showed up and I didn't know about it

Now I do
I wanted to say I think your awesome and so inspirational Harlow is gorgeous and so clever, I know what you mean about being at home I hated when I'm admitted to hospital I mean there's a teen unit and it's amazing but it's just not home! Xx
Your dad is so lovely. I know you said that you grew up in England but I didn't assume he was British. Hope you can all rest and recover from your hectic week.
I was born in England, but only spent two months there lol. I need to do a draw my life sometime but I am way too busy :P

ErasableFilms I do the same thing
No I do it too.....LOL!
ErasableFilms Yup, cuz she's AWESOME and we all KNOW that will will ENJOY it
Judd is definitely doing good things and he'll be back soon.

Actually I think the leasing office did but I am calling today to make sure
Jaquie I saw this comment from someone so this is unoriginal, but one commenter said she had lost power previously, but when she contacted the power company and because of her chronic illnesses she was placed on a special list which allowed her to get back home sooner, I was wondering if this would be something you could do/consider.
Yes I saw that (:

Some of our family in Jacksonville Florida had some water in their house still waiting to see how bad it is
Judd's family is in Jax and they also had some damage. The flooding was insane
I love that episode of Bob's Burgers lol. Especially the song 😁.
Same! I sing it all the time lol
Ohhh I saw a vid of you and your dog Harlow and searched on yt for you

Love your dads accent! 😍😍
Praying power will come back on very soon in Tampa Bay! Sending lots of love to you and your family! So glad you all are safe!
Will you have to go see your doctor to reschedule your IVIG appointment? Fingers crossed you'll know soon :)
Surely medical facilities have a generator or something like that!
LOVE YOU JAQUIE DARLIN!!!!!!!🌷🌷🌷
Also, I think I remember in another video that you quickly introduced a brother? How many siblings do you have? Are they half siblings?
Just my half brother from my dad (: He lives in the UK
I live in Miami! Question- how did you go about getting a service dog and training?
it's so funny how your mom sits while driving!
There's a fb live video of ALOT of crabs on the street after the hurricane, anyone else see it??
you are so cute. you keep smiling through all of this 💜 I admire you so much!
Have you seen the video the dodo posted of Harlow?
Thorse yep
I remember on one of your videos that you secure your feeding tube with some sort of tape/Velcro device. I can't seem to find the video, so I was wondering you could tell me the name of it? I would like to ask my home care if I could get something like that. I have trouble with tegaderm sticking to my skin. Please and thank you! :)
It's called grip lock, I love it!
Thank you!!!! I am super excited to try it! The things we get excited about 🤣
I KNOW you will make it and be OKAY👌!!!!
Does your power company have a program for those with medical needs? Our power company has one where if you have a need for power due to medical problems such as oxygen or nebulizers you become top priority to get your power restored.

Anyone else notice that at 5:09 she was driving with only one leg
Ok so I might sound dumb but do you still get your period even with all your chronic illnesses. If so that probably sucks and throws you off
No I take medication so I do not but I am slightly malnourished still since I am not on the right formula so I do not get it
In your All About Harlow video, you mention that one of your previous potential service dogs (I think it was the one right before Harlow and he got sick?) was living with your dad (if I remember correctly lol). Is he still living with your dad? Or does he live somewhere else now?
My dad but he is with friends right now
Another word used often for that kind of stomach tube is called a mickey button.
Actually mine is not Mic-Key, I have an AMT (: They are two different brands
So it's the same thing but just the brand name is different? I thought it was a cute name the other youtuber used for her button lol

With the dogs distracting each other, if you were to have symptoms of say fainting. Would Harlow still pick up on the signs?
No she would still alert
Ok, thanks for responding!
