I have this gun, The Hogue CZ wrap around finger groove grips fit perfectly. The safety touches the top of the grip when engaged but still works. Just letting you guys know because grips are hard to find.
Bought mine for $345, great shooter, easy to get on target out to 50 yards. Let my son borrow it, and he likes how easy it is to shoot at the range. I may have to buy another. Great Review.
I acquired one of these at the attractive price of $260, used in LN condition. I’ve swapped the grips & sent in excess of 600rds of mixed bag of 9mm ammo down range. From both 20 & 15 yard distances, it grouped a lot better than I was expecting. From 10-7 yards, it’s superb! The slide actually works better for me from both a grip & ergonomic perspective. The only draw back is the safety which operates counter intuitive with my experience. If you can find one of these for sub $ 300 > buy it ;)
I almost bought one of these last year. I'm going tell ya this gun is very nice when you rack the slide its like butter like there's ball bearings in it or something if I see one I'm buying it.
The review was on point, The only issue was when you compared the internals of both pistols. The CZ that you were comparing the Sarsilmaz to is an Omega, it has different internal components than a regular CZ 75b
I like it when a gun extracts the empty shells in a consistent pattern (like at 11:16). When I see a gun spraying shells all over the place, it just doesn't seem like it was well designed. I'm probably wrong...
sootch, at 12:41 the CZ 75 omega on the left cannot be compared to the Sarsilmaz on the right because the CZ omega design is not true to the CZ 75 B, which the Sarsilmaz emulates quite well apparently. Great review.
you can hold more firmly for the trigger gauge testing by going pinkie-thru-the-guard and the rest of your hand firmly wrapping the muzzle-end slide/frame (an inverted version of your disassembly hold) -- thatll mean less give and more consistency
Good review as usual, Sootch! I don't think it's going to take the place of my Jericho anytime soon, but looks like a solid performer. I've shot CZs, Tanfos, a Sphinx, even a Norinco. In my experience, the Jericho was the best of all the ones I've shot. Sootch, that would make a great video series, comparing the CZ clones and CZ-inspired pistols...
The slide-in-frame part. Not enough slide to grab for me without spending a lot of time with the gun. I'm also not a believer of the "lower bore axis" part. It looks lower, but simply swapping which side the rails are on only makes the exterior of the slide smaller, not the entire slide.
But don't get me wrong, they're sweet shooters. I don't dislike them, just not my favorite. All guns require time and training to get really good with. Any change to the manual of arms requires retraining.
Can't find a review for the SAR USA 2000. Not sure why. My experience with it began with a light recoil spring and cases ejecting 15'. Before 500 rounds fired the trigger spring broke. SAR USA no longer imports the Mega that came from TR Imports. Should you find yourself needing to replace the internal springs, Galloway Precision has an excellent kit that's a steal for $25. For recoil and magazine springs, they're available from Wolff Gunsprings, but you'll need to order those made for the CZ 75B/SP-01 and not those for any other "CLONE."
I’ve got a Sarsilmaz 2000 and it’s a great gun. I also own CZ SP-01, CZ 75 Compact and a CZ Shadow 2. I look at them pretty equal except for the Shadow 2, It Rocks and Rolls but cost about three times of the Sar !
Saw these online from TR Imports out of Ft. Worth TX. I’m interested in a stainless steel version. I already have a Sarsilmaz K2.45. It’s a great find especially for the price. Thanks for the review on this gun. TriStar Imports a line from Canik that are really nice Turkish Cz clones also.
So many cool cz75 types out there. Scotch seems excited in the intro. I love these well put together reviews. Thanks Sootch! Those high point looking grips though 😒
I don't know how important for you but only two colon Sar Mega/ 2000 and Sphinx ( Swiss made) slide and frame forged! CZ, slide forged frame cast, Jericho and Tangfilio slide and frame cast...
Other than the backwards safety, that’s a nice tanfoglio clone. How long have you been working on this review? Tr imports doesn’t even import these anymore do they?
hey Don , good video! I am hesitant to upload anything about working on guns or take down of them because of new youtube stupid guidelines. Uploaded a video the other day and was afraid to show changing a recoil spring. i am surprised you haven't got struck down yet. as always love the out takes .
Hey Brother! TH-cam has become a mine field but we seem to be cruising along. Basic disassembly is fine but installing aftermarket parts can be tricky. I took all my Installation and build video down which now live on Full30 and GetZone. Good luck with the channel and hope you don't have any YT problems.
I had one just like it, but it was called a Sarsilmaz B6 Hawk! Wonder why they changed the name! Got rid of it cause never got used to the reversed way of the thumb safety!
Question for you, not related to the subject of this video... Close to my house there is a Palmetto Armory indoor shooting range that I have used several times... up to now. Every time I went to check in, they tested my ammo (usually 9mm x18) with what appeared to be a magnet, but I never asked the reason. Last week they told me that I could not use my Wolf STEEL cased 9mm (first time used there), but would not give me a reason. I left that place and moved off to a different indoor range where they had no problems with my steel cased ammo. Why the refusal to use steel cases? Is it just because they can't make money reselling the empty cases swept off the floor? If this is the reason, how can they test if I use aluminum cased rounds? I have been reading about Federal ammo offering these rounds at a very attractive price (Mrgunsngear had high marks for these rounds) but will the situation with steel cases repeat if I use the aluminum cased rounds? Your input, please.
Another excellent video. Personally for an extra $100 I would get the CZ75. But then I would have to explain a 3rd CZ to my wife so maybe I could slip this under her radar a lot easier.
I held a sweet pistol the other day found it very familiar to the CZ 75 it was a Sig 210 target but then I found out the Sig was designed way before the CZ
I have chosen you Grasshopper ; -) Lol . But please do a Magazine compatibility posting . With all these great platforms coming available now it's time . We're getting to the point where left wondering what to stick in it or what else might . Thanks Mon
The sar prices are steadily going up. Hope they don’t price themselves out of their market. When I bought my k2p it was below 300. They were great gun for the money. Is there a law that makes sar have to put a manual safety on instead of a decocker?
My set up has the safety as inoperable, honestly not a deal breaker I picked it up from $200 like 5 years ago, but this is just a hole defense weapons or range gun, I have my p07 and p01 in my carry rotation
@@jesusistheonlyway8100 I don't know if CZ75 grips can be modified to fit or not. A real CZ75 can be found in excellent used condition for nearly the same price.

Looks pretty good and the price is right. But I'd be concerned about getting spare parts from Turkey in the future since their president is becoming such a buttwipe these last couple of years. Thank you for taking my recommendation into consideration. I already ordered one on special order, But would love to see it in your hands and hear your thoughts on it. With much
I carry a Tristar /Canik P100.
A CZ75 P-01 clone, and I love it.
Nice review.
Great review as always! It looks like a nice handgun. I have the Sar B6p and I don't think I've ever seen a negative review about it.
Great review, Sootch00. Looks like the Steel framed Sar B6 Hawk with a squared off trigger guard. That too is a great 75B clone.

Turkey is such an underrated country when it comes to making guns
I have the version that was imported by EAA many years ago. Excellent shooter.
Looks like an 80s Tanfoglio copy of the CZ75...
Mohammed Cohen looks a lot like a EAA Witness
Yes it do...I have a Witness in 10mm
I have this pistol. Love it!
Good to hear Desert Fox! : )

Tactical Toolbox cz for poors?

Thanks Mark!
Thanks for keeping it real it’s about the pistol!!! That company makes a nice pistol I had a k2p 9mm 👍🏻👍🏻
This gun Das have sigle action and doble action?
I wish there was a cz clone with a decocker. If the tristar p 120 had one it would be my edc.

Please review the Tisas Regent BR9 - Hi Power clone
It'd be nice if they could accept CZ75 grips and sights
I really appreciate everyone of your videos.. very informative... the only problem I have is I want to buy every gun u review.. lol..
I see the resemblance between sar and the cz, but what about the high power.
Iwb holster options? Cz75b holsters?

Chocolateslovakia? Chicletslovakia?
Either way, I’ve wanted one of these for a while. Didn’t they use to sell sub $300 though? Before RSI got involved

Another excellent video. Personally for an extra $100 I would get the CZ75. But then I would have to explain a 3rd CZ to my wife so maybe I could slip this under her radar a lot easier.
Thanks Scott! CZ's a Boss no doubt.
To be historically correct Mega Sarsilmaz and CZ 75 inspired by their papa SIG P 210.
Could they just make an internal railed slide in a striker-fired system
I held a sweet pistol the other day found it very familiar to the CZ 75 it was a Sig 210 target but then I found out the Sig was designed way before the CZ

Thanks Brother! I appreciate it
Oh man... that music just makes it so epic! :D
Love the dramatic intro!
Thanks Bob!
Does anyone know what sights are compatible with it? Been trying to figure this out with no luck.
Do theyl come in .45?
what was the cz trigger pull
Solid Review!!! Long live the Republic!!! :-)
Thanks Weed! #LLTR
This is like the big brother to the CZ DPCR
Thx for the heads up on the Sarsilmaz got look into one !!!!
It would be hard to get parts for it. I’ll stay with my CZ’s!
You can't bet CZ quality. Sootch00 another great review and long live the republic bro.
CZ is top notch. Thanks Jerry! #LLTR

I liken that to arex to sigs, I think that’s great, close comparison to a cz because a lot of people can’t afford a 75 or a shadow
Reversed safety is an instant deal breaker.
My set up has the safety as inoperable, honestly not a deal breaker I picked it up from $200 like 5 years ago, but this is just a hole defense weapons or range gun, I have my p07 and p01 in my carry rotation
I felt similar but as home defense gun one in the chamber and no safety with double action first shot.
The only reason you think it's reversed is because the Beretta 92F reversed it and lots of companies followed suit.
Is the safety a decocker? you didn't demonstrate that I am assuming so but just want to know.
Look at 4:10 again....; it's cocked and locked, but, with a backwards-assed safety....; what a foolish design, IMO
Safety. Dead giveaway is the red is dead dot.
That would be a useful feature for these Turkish clones to adapt.
It's a Safety and not a Decocker. Thanks Griz
Quick, let's copy the S&W 745 safety system, also backwards, but., move it to the frame! :)
Heavy but the best combat 9mm you could have
Can you can the grips and we're to buy factory mags from ?? Thanks
Takes CZ 75 mags.

Good video man. What is the price on the this pistol? Where is the best place to find this pistol? Thanks keep up the good work
He gave the price in the video...are you drunk?
Thanks Ted! The Price is around $450 but as far as where, a Google search is the best way to find one.
This, or a TriStar? Anybody have their opinions to share?
I love my TriStar T-100. I think the quality is the same. Thanks B
A pistol that size without a bayonet lug, what were they thinking?
How does it compare to the Jericho 941?
David Jablonski Jericho all day
I really like my 941.. built like a tank
The Jericho is built like a tank and great quality. Hard to beat Israeli made firearms. Thanks David!
I have to ask how does this compare to the Canik cz clone?
IDK but the quality is on par with the TriStar T-100
sootch00
Ok, thanks for the response.
So many budget guns to choose from!
Excellent video. I love your work.
Thanks Jonathan!
