p10c easy,. and I own a 19 gen 5 MOS and after tying the p10c out on rental I can firmly say I made the wrong decision. Great gun + they have an optics ready version.

I like how everyone keeps saying "they'll stick to Glock's 35 year track record". Well what about CZ's 40+ year track record?!?
CZ-75 has a 40+ year track record, CZ P10C does not. It’s possible for a company to mess something up. Though I think the CZ P10C is awesome.
@@JohnW-yv6yp I agree. I know the original model had issues with the mag getting stuck when you tried to eject it but thankfully CZ fixed it with the newer models.
CZ P10 c is a fairly new gun. So, you’re not making sense.
I think the main reason is because Glock has been the standard service pistol for police and militaries for years in this exact configuration.

One factor that many in the industry don't bring to bear on price is the cost of upgrades that are often needed for some Glocks to help alleviate the issue of sucky triggers, sights, and poor grip texture. The CZ has already had these upgrades performed before it even left the factory, so there is no additional cost for the CZ P-10C

CZ have been making quality firearms for longer than Glock, the only advantage Glock really has, is the aftermarket support, and accessories
Price of magazines, in Australia you can get a Magpull for a glock for about $50 , a mag for a czp10 is about $135
Been using only Glocks sense 1994, and I finally have a pistol that isn't a Glock, my new CZ-P10 C.

I have a P10c that I have probably 1,000 or so rounds through. Be aware - it does NOT play well with large ogive bullets. Had to send it back to CZ to have the throat deepened and it will still hang up with bullets that my M&P 2.0 Cpmpact will swallow while laughin.

Both of these came out in 2017 but CZ has since improved their P-10 C , starting in 2018, whereas Glock is still the same in 2024.

Good on ya CZ! Great pistol with one of the best, if not the VERY BEST trigger I've ever felt on a factory striker fired pistol. Way better shooter than a Glock for a much more realistic price.
I've owned both guns, and for me the choice is clear. CZ by far

Had a Glock 19 for about a year and could never quite get used to the “blocky” ergonomics and mushy, creeping trigger. So I sold it and bought a P-10C and I’m never looking back 🇨🇿

The CZ p10c is an attempt to go head to head with glock.

P10 has 16 more parts than the Glock. That's a big reason why I chose Glock
P10C is just the better gun. Glocks are fantastic, but there are better guns out there. More ergonomic, just as reliable, etc.
I’m very fortunate to own both of these and a few other great handguns. The CZ P10C is a little more accurate for me especially at 25 yards due to the fantastic trigger but the Glock 19 is my primary carry pistol due to the size. I have carried both extensively and can feel the difference. Both are simply fantastic firearms.
I know this is an old review but between the two which has less recoil in your opinion?
@@markscott9179 Glock has more muzzle flip because is 3 or 4 oz lighter, and barrel is a bit shorter. P-10c has more recoil impulse, because of the ergonomics and the grip shape. The energy pushes your hand/writst backwards a bit more with the P-10c than with the Glock. So, P-10c is a bit more accurate. At the end of the day, what's going to determine accuracy is going to be the level of training that you put in it, though.

I really don't understand Glock! They come out with the Gen 4 then at the end of it's run they add the Gen 4 "FS" - Front Serrations! Then they launch the Gen 5 but without the Front Serrations. Are they becoming like Apple who before launching a new phone come out with the "S" model before the new model. So we'll get the Glock Gen 5 "FS" in 10 years time? I'm thinking of moving across to CZ 😏

Aesthetically the Glock has smoother lines, but at a $75 to $100 difference and a better gripping angle, and it definitely does feel more natural to grip than a Glock, the CZ might be the better bet. Good comparison.

I have gun license for almost ten years and lots of guns came through my hands... My brother is new in guns and has license a few weeks old. He bought P10C as his first gun and I G19 gen5 (FS version) as my definitive gun... :)

You will be highly satisfied!. I bought both the Canik T9SFx and the CZ about the same time. Another fine gun, a longer slide. The CZ has a slightly better trigger.
I own the p10c everything about this gun is fantastic except that slide release. Have only about 500 round through it. loosened up a tad.. awesome video bro thanks

@@5jjt Glock is the best grip on the market?! The grip isn't ergonomic at all. The grip texture on the Gen 5 is pretty ok but nothing amazing for the market. Even for Glock fans (and personally think Glocks are SOLID guns) the grip has never been noteworthy at all.
@@5jjt not really.. been shooting a Glock 19 exclusively through several generations for just over 20 years and I shoot it well but that’s because that’s all ive used until recently. It naturally feels like shit and you don’t even realize until you start shooting a gun that actually feels good.
Great vid brother..! I have a g26 for concealed carry, and g17 for a fighting pistol, both squared away to suit my needs. If I do grab a g19 size pistol, it would be between the canik cz clone or the tristar cz clone, because I've always wanted a true cz but couldn't afford 1. But for striker fire pistols, it's hard to beat the track record of the Glock. I've NEVER had a malfunction in mine. Everybody calls this cz the Glock killer, I don't see that happening at all. But I'd still rather buy a used gen3 and deck it out how I want it than drop the cash for the gen5. But no b.s. if my budget allowed it, I'd buy both in a heartbeat.

I am still stunned that Glock hasn't changed the grip angle on their newest generations. That is my biggest complaint of Glocks.
I've never held a CZ P10C but if the trigger and trigger reset is better than a Walther PPQ, that's pretty impressive. Of course that's all relevant to the shooter. I own two Walther PPQs and the out of box triggers are something to behold, it's hard to believe that another pistol out of the box can better it.
A salute to sootch00 for making such an excellent, informative and an unbiased review of these pistols from two legendary firearm manufacturers.
So they beveled the front of the slide but not the frame...It's the details that matter.

The problems I have with Glock are that they refuse to give us an out of box great pistol. This BS about "Glock Perfection" is just that, BS! This is a $600 pistol, but yet we need to spend MORE money to upgrade it!? A huge percentage of owners HATE the stock sights, but Glock refuses to fix that problem. They also need to undercut the trigger guard for a better purchase, especially when wearing gloves. A lot of manufacturers already do this. Glock? No thanks.
I carried my new cz p10c today for the 1st time. Even tho it’s slightly bigger it conceals better. The gun is less blocky so my clothes drapes over the gun better.
CZ is just the best. Period. Even the Germans knew it way back in WW-II as they found the 1st time they tried a 98k built by CZ and found it was a better rifle than built by Mauser. Bohunks build the Best.

1) They have done everything Glock should have done a long time ago, but refused to.
2) It will fit "most" Glock 19 holsters.
3) Is fully ambidextrous.
4) Has a similar but better trigger to the Glock.
5) Has a larger trigger guard for ease of use with gloves.
I could go on, but I think that's enough reasons why the CZ is better than the Glock.
I have the CZ-P09 its the full size version of this pistol and I really like it but it will not replace any of my Glocks and anyone who believes that? it really shows your knowledge of guns
Glock is still king for complete disassembly of slide and frame. No roll pins, hell only 2 pins period.

Do the gauntlet test for me by sticking your Glock in the dirt and see how easy it is to disassemble when there is sand stuck in it
Glock pistols are way more proven than a new cz. Millions made and used.

I held and dry fired a CZP10c at my local gun shop a few weeks ago and if I wanted a G19 sized striker fired handgun, I'd definitely would go with the CZ. Been preferring DA/SA lately though so I'll stick with my HK P2000 ;)
I bought my first Glock when I was 16 years old and in 20 years I've carried Glocks almost exclusively. I've recently been taking a good look at the CZ P10C and Walther PPQ and objectively comparing them to my G19. When I look at it objectively I know the P10C and PPQ are better pistols but I still cling to my tried and true familiar G19. I've got so much trigger time invested not to mention money in mags and holsters. I was disappointed with the gen 4 and I'm disappointed with the gen 5 but I still cling to my G19. I wander if new gun owners look at me and scoff the same way I did at 1911 owners 20 years ago.
Probably to a degree. Comfort is important regardless, and so is acknowledging when something other than what you're used to and support makes improvements, so you have that going for you. What's important is supporting gun ownership and and the gun community in America, so when someone likes something, even if it isn't what you typically approve of, it's best to have an open mind and not just scoff it down, or worse, talk them out of it for no reason other than it not being your preference..
CountryBoyPrepper The difference is that the P10C doesn't actually do anything better than Glock, it just fits some peoples hands better. I've always shot Glocks better than other striker guns like the PPQ and P320 so I'll stick with what's always worked.

Glock's will eventually earn 1911 status and become a "cult classic" kind of firearm. Surpassed but not forgotten. In fact it's probably already in the "surpassed" stage at this point.

JR Russell You are mostly correct. The "best" trigger really doesn't matter. For conceal carry one doesn't need to have a light 4-4.5 lbs trigger. As far everything else, CZ hasn't been proven in reliability.
Hard to say. I don't think any pistol on the market rivals the Glocks reliability. Nicer trigger and grip vs. ultimate reliability. That said the P10c hasn't had the time to gain the track record of the Glock.
Surpassed how? Mechanicaly its the same type of gun as most modern handguns made today. Its a polymer double-stack striker-fired handgun. Compared to that the 1911 is steel (surpassed), SA trigger (surpassed) with a manual safety (surpassed) and a grip safety (rendered pointless by firing pin block). The differences between Glocks and competition are minor or purely cosmetic features such as front serrations, metal or plastic sights etc.
I don’t think I’ve ever shot a CZ that I didn’t like. Love the p07 2nd gen and the p01 the standard 75 is great too. And for a Stryker gun the p10 line up is second to none. I still own glocks too but other than the 34 they mostly collect dust. These days.
I believe as far as quality & ergos go, CZ hands down.
The ONLY thing that keeps me from completely turning away from glock is versatility & abundancy.. The fact that if S were to ever HTF, you're finding glocks, their parts, & their magazines *everywhere*. & they make 50rd drums! = O
AND you can get a carbine-shell, & now it's a, much more accurate, 2-handed weapon.
I really do love versatitilty; & I don't think anybody can beat Glock in regards to versatility.

What all the hate? I've been an law enforcement instructor for 25 years. We started carrying Glocks when the Gen2 23s came out. Now that I'm retired I still carry them, as of a few days ago the Gen5 19. I carry them because I'm used to them and because they work. Yet there are some things about glock I don't like. One thing I've always taught is to first pick the pistol up. Is it comfortable and does it feel good in your hand? Second is it a reliable company and can you shoot it relatively fast and relatively accurately? Yes? Then buy it with lots of magazines and ammo and shoot the snot out of it. Are Glock's the best defensive pistol? They are for me. End of story.
I own a Gen 4 Glock 19, and a CZ P10C, and i have to say, I prefer my 19. The CZ trigger IS better, but, as I'm VERY familiar and comfortable with the Glock trigger, it isn't an issue. I am more comfortable with the grip angle of the G19.
The CZ is superior in every aspect that is a mechanical/scientific fact. Your Glock 19 is outdated garbage. Get with the times and get a real pistol.

Now, I don't know where you got your "scientific" crap, but obviously that was a lie. All CZ did was copy the Glock 19 in every dimension and make a few minor changes. Have you noticed (Of you could take your head out of your ass for a few moments) that everyone still talks about Glocks, and buys them at an astounding clip, while virtually no one talks about the CZ? There's a reason for that, and it ISN'T "because the CZ is better ".... Because it isn't. It's merely a copy of a great gun. A clone. Nothing more.
I’m actually thinking of picking up a G19 Gen 5 because of the ergo improvements of the Glock handle. As you mention I find I get a great grip on it. Also as far as grabbing the slide, the narrowness of the slide on the CZ decreases the area you grab. I have a Steyr that has a similar narrow slide. I’ve passed on Glocks before as I wasn’t feeling the ergos. Now I feel they’ve improved them a Love. I’ve always shot Glocks well. I see a G19 in the future. I like that the changed the bucket in the rear sight. I pick the sights up better. I didn’t like them before and I think I could live with the stock Glock sight on the Gen 5. Now I find the G5 compelling.
The Hi Point is just honestly unmatched folks, no other way to put it.

Never trust your loaded chamber indicator. With time they can be deceiving. I love my P10C and would choose it over a Glock any day but Glock has that amazing track record so if I had to choose based on that alone i would go with Glock.

Where were you able to buy it at that price? Best I could find is $429 and is the supressor ready model.
@@pagetom76 i forget the name of the gun store but it was in north dakota, plus 20 bucks for 2 day priority shipping to my local gun store for pick up, i just kept searching online and finding better and better deals over the course of about 3 days and finally found it for $385, brand new, 2 mags, 2 back straps, trigger lock , full paperwork and case. done deal! only problem now if finding extra 17 rd mags for it lol

Great review and nice shooting! I held the G19 Gen5 and the CZ P10C at an LGS for the first time the other day, and I found the Glock trigger to be improved quite a bit from the Gen4 (I own a G32 Gen4).
The CZ, on the other hand, felt a bit strange to me. Where the Glock trigger feels consistent through the pull and very smooth, the P10C trigger wasn't. Weight wasn't as consistent as the Glock, and there was some grit. Maybe it would eventually smooth out after a few hundred rounds. Also, sometimes triggers feel different when you're actually on the range firing live ammo.
Thanks John. It's all about preference. Both are excellent handguns and the small difference are per taste. That's why I own and love both.
P10c has same controls, almost same size and similar price.
The difference is: p10c is 100 times more reliable, p10c has a way better trigger (from what ive heard from a friend and online), better looking imo, most people think the p10c is much more comfortable.
Literally the only reason i am getting a g19 instead is because i cant find a p10c for sale locally or online for under 700. Its like the effing things just disappeared here.
Brian-eighteen 18 found my P10c for $425. Sounds like you can buy it out of state and have it shipped to a local dealer cheaper.

Well the CZ less expensive(in my county) and looks better so this time I will take the CZ and it's totally ambidextrous out of the Box and I'm lefty so that's an important point for me
The ergo's and trigger on that CZ are incredible, I wish I had the opportunity to shoot one. The Glock 19 was my first center-fired handgun, but the grip angle isn't for me anymore, sadly. Great comparison Sootch!

Glocks just don't feel good to me. I own many brands, but the first thing I do is see how it feels in the hand.
I don't think the glock and czp have much of a grip angle difference. I think it's the shape of the grips. By looking at them I don't understand how people can say glock grip angle isn't for them but then go to the czp.
I never liked the grip angle of Glocks.
Man! $19 for a glock mag! I wish I lived in the U.S. here in Australia they’re $60 😫. And a brand new glock here is just over $1000 brand new 😫

Just watched a tfbtv review of the cz p10c and he said it had a steel guide rod. You said it’s polymer. Just wondering woh is correct?
The first generation CZ P 10Cs with ambidextrous mag releases had plastic guide rods. The later ones with swappable mag releases have steel guide rods.
Glock was the best handgun you could get when they used their good slick finish. People keep telling me the new finish is just as good. Then I have to keep dealing with customers who show me how bad their new glock is rusting, meanwhile my older glocks never rusted what so ever, no matter what I did to them. I maintain the RTF2 was the best glock ever did, such a shame they didn't last. I like that they contoured the new glocks and removed the finger grooves, but that finish is a deal breaker.
to me its looks like the recoil impulse is smoother on the CZ p-10c then the glock and its seems to track better
I want both, will probably go Glock though!

Great comparison review, I'm a big fan of both companies Sootch00. But if i had to choose 1 right now it would be the CZ P10C, because of the fit and finish. Also the price point of the CZ, and I already have 3 Glocks. So it's time to change to something different. Long live the republic Sootch00
Try the Glock trigger pull again brother and do it on the same lower part of the trigger you did with the CZ. I know the Glocks aren't the lightest of triggers but be fair when doing a match up mate.

Congrats for the best review of the two prime pistols of the year. They are both so close in shape, performance, and reliability. Looks to me that the Glock is more precise.
Out the box CZ makes better triggers. Glock wins the popularity contest only bc it’s just well known. Plus compatible with after market parts gives Glock an upper hand. I do wish CZ would release tactical versions of the P10’s. CZ does a better job on the hand grip stippling it really holds on to your hand. The slide serations are better on the CZ with them being angled instead or vertical. There’s also a chamber indicator on the P10’s not sure about Glocks. I have the P10C and the P10S but I’ll most likely buy a G19 Gen 5 in the future just for the hell of it to be accompanied with my G19X
Maximus Joseppi said everything that I would say. Some day a Glock fan boy will look at his Glock and cry. He will see all the money he spent for parts to make it a good gun, not a great gun. It never will come up to a CZ out of the box.

MILK MAN but do cz take 33 rounds magazine Factory magazine 100 round drum or 50 round drum that whats makes Glock so better than every other gun.
canelo weight 155 pounds , really that's your argument . What would you use a drum or mag that would hold all those rounds for besides gay night club ?
Decide I had to just see for myself. First the numbers: CZ P10c, FDE purchased on 01/13/2019 for $489+31.11 tax=$521.06 / Glock 19 Gen5 MOS, purchased 01/06/2019 for $625+$39.68 tax=$664.69. First I have to admit that I like the simple internal design of the Glock, the CZ does not appear to be as simple and I am reluctant to do a complete disassembly. But, the CZ has a lot more value for what you get, this one came with very usable night sights for $20 more then the stock ones. I'll be leaving these on. The Glock Gen5 trigger is certainly better as previous models had me polishing internals and adding the minus connector to get where the Gen5 trigger is out of the box. Yet still, I feel the CZ trigger is better. Gonna have to admit, the CZ is quickly living up to the hype.

You can find the CZ around $150 cheaper than the G19. Better sights, better trigger, better grip, front slide serrations, completely ambi. Idk how Glock fan boys can argue against this one

lol ppl saying the p10c is cheaper. Once you buy the 3rd mag which you're gonna do anyway, and which glock supplies in the box, you're about equal in price.
Why would you be dropping the slide on an empty magazine? Of course it's difficult when you have brand new mag springs fighting the slide lock/release.
I said underneath that is was for demonstration purposes in text.... that's why.
I got a gen 5 glock 17 and p80 fc9 close to a glock 19.. but just recently bought a sp01 cz and p09 and I gotta say I'm loving the cz world... p10c on my list as next gun.
Really like these verses video's. Would like to see the canik tp9sf elite vs the Walther ppq and/or the CZ p10c in your opinion.
I like both but I might consider the Gen 19 because of the Micro Roni Tech that can add to it
The CZ has a slide stop not a slide release it's wrote in black and white in the manual. CZ is designed to either manipulate the slide to chamber the first round of a new magazine or to slam the magazine in a little bit harder than normal and it will auto feed it's not designed to be used as a slide release they tell you that right in the manual. Love your videos bud keep it up

leviathan nostaw Like always. CZ took on the Browning Hi Power with its slide stop. Not for releasing the slide but after loading magazine on the BHP, you only need to slightly pull the slide back to release.
Sounds funny but sight radius is huge. Barrel length does not effect accuracy as much as sight radius does. The fact that the p10c has just a little less sight radius than a glock 17 but is almost the same slide length as a glock 19 gives it a huge advantage
Glock never innovated over the years and has banked on their track record. That is going to cost them my business no question about it. Oh and don't give me that reliability stuff. Glocks fail to and I wonder why the army didn't pick them.

Don't forget aftermarket support for the Glock. The same is true for the 1911. CZ not so much.
I don’t like THE BIG GAP between the slide and the frame on the Glock pistols, sometimes you can see trough them, at the right angle you can even see the recoil spring!! And that allows to get dirt and stuff inside the pistol.

You reviewed the Gen5 to a lovey glowing review last month..."it's gonna be my new carry", to quote. Wondered if you would compare this to the CZ you reviewed earlier this year. Realize you're a long time Glock shooter, but, you're giving props to an old horse with lame cost minimizing profit maximizing tricks...i.e., less bang for the buck, unless you're willing to pay more for Glock licensed aftermarket parts or customizing to equal say the CZ factory features
