Graham, the Sar 9 is the very first gun I bought and I have two. I've run nothing but 115 and 124 grain standard ammo and have never had any issues. More lately, I've purchased Fiocchi 115 g which I have not used previously and interestingly, the Beretta APX A1 with the stock spring/guide rod will NOT run Fiocchi 115 g at all. I was not entirely surprised, the APX A1 is the most difficult gun to rack I've ever encountered. Extremely stiff spring. I was more surprised it does run 124 grain Blazer, since I later read the APX A1 is made for 124g NATO ammo, which makes sense. Beretta was good enough to send me the slightly weaker spring/guide rod from the 1st generation APX and with that, I've not had trouble with any ammo. I believe the Fiocchi 115g runs fine in the Sar 9, but I intend to check again this weekend. I have pistols not only from SAR, but from Tisas, Girsan and AĞAOĞLU and all four brands run standard (non-NATO) ammo just fine for me. The Fiocchi 115g does seem weaker compared to the other ammo I've used -- Blazer, Federal, Remington, Magtech and S&B mostly.

SAR increased pricing on all pistols for 2024 by a good amount. If they can be found for $350 it is a reasonable price. But at $450, and only takes SAR magazines, is too much in my opinion. So many Glock clone pistols available right now. Many share ability to swap parts w\glock G19 pistols. Those that don't but are still based off the G19 have limitations on magazine options and replacement parts, including upgrades.
Mine shot great for 500 rounds of mixed 115gr and 124gr FMJ on the first day. Then the trigger saftey failed. The gun would shoot without the saftey being depressed. SAR USA stated send it in and it may take two weeks to 30 days. WTF? On a brand new gun, really. Sad customer service policy. Never going to buy a SAR again as they treat their buying public poorly. Run away and don't fall for their $$$ that seem to always seem to be on sale to push their junk! But hay that may be my personal experience.
Another high quality video, Thanks for the way u just lay out the facts even though its just ur opinion. Anybody who knows firearms will appreciate it. At least in MY opinion.
Glock needs to drop its price by $100 at least and that’s for all models. Too many new firearms with better tech is coming out for the same price and lesser. I’m just saying. That’s like walking around with a flip phone.
Nice. It doesn't take a "goon" to appreciate buying from your neighbors instead of strangers. It's a good policy and benefits not just your community but yourself as well. Apparently you have never worked, don't work, or don't plan to work at a US manufacturing job . By the way, many people who won't buy Turkish guns choose to do so for any variety of reasons. Nationalism, patriotism, and religion aren't the only reasons. Most (not all) are junk and dealing with customer service is a nightmare...even dealing with Stoeger (a member of the Beretta family) is a curse. Many, to paraphrase you, "made in America goons" are also happy enough to purchase HK, CZ, Sig, and Glock...maybe they just live in a house instead of a trailer?

Which do you like most sar9 c or bul axe's
They're different. The BUL Armory Axes are Glock-pattern, but lightweight performance guns. The SAR 9C is a heavy-built duty-type gun not based around Glock parts
You can shoot great
I love the side grip panels. This is the only gun other than the VP9 that has them. I figured HK had a patent on them but that isn't the case apparently. I wonder why more guns don't have them.
I don't know, the closest alternative are the three-sided grip panels like on Grand Power and some Caniks and Walthers
@@GBGuns PX9 TOO !
Would like purchase. Where can Get?
See pinned comment.
GB is that the bronze color?
Yes
@@GBGuns How did you like that color. A little hard to tell on the computer.
@@stephanieroberts1394 I like it. A lot classier than "FDE" in my opinion. It has some slighth sparkle to it. See the article on GBGunsDepot.com for close up cleaner photos.
What is the optics footprint on this?
Specs are in the pinned comment.
I think you raved about these guns before.
I was impressed with the potential and bones of the Gen 1. These Gen 3's have been a big leap forward.
Brother that pistol is unstoppable! I took mine through some pretty bad swamp's and had it covered in slime and shit all over it and it still shot with all that crap on it killed a water moccasin with it and I have had to pull it out when I was coyote hunting got surrounded while I was sitting on the ground and had to shoot my way out with my sar to get them off me
SAR increased pricing on all pistols for 2024 by a good amount.
But Glocks need aftermarket, I don't think this pistol does
Mine shot great for 500 rounds of mixed 115gr and 124gr FMJ on the first day.
Every one thinks the ruger semi auto are the best guns ,I would take a sar or taurus any day
Another high quality video, Thanks for the way u just lay out the facts even though its just ur opinion. Anybody who knows firearms will appreciate it. At least in MY opinion.
Gen3 was much faster. Didn't look like you were working very hard with it.
No, it was a treat to shoot!
After this review there is no reason not to run to buy this gun and carry it daily
The Turks do seem to know how to make decent pistols. Or at least some of them do.
Glock needs to drop its price by $100 at least and that’s for all models. Too many new firearms with better tech is coming out for the same price and lesser. I’m just saying. That’s like walking around with a flip phone.
Glock is a great classic firearm, but I agree, not advancing for 30 years is catching up with them.
But is it made in "America?".....waiting for the goons to complain.
You don’t find many guns that will accurately shoot ever types of rounds you put in it, it’s a shooter,, didn’t you have a cheaper priced gun a week or two ago you tried out and it shoot all the deferant types of rounds great,, I believe it was the th 10 Taurus, I think
Yes, WFD is more of a function check than accuracy
Looks promising.
Excellent review
Great review.
