Ex spearfishing you tubers, who filling the videos with torture and release with silly sticks, for the sake of a bit of coin I suppose. There are enough line fishing shows on the stupid box. Thanks for remaining pure Daniel.
I really love it when he eats almost every part. No wasting. Great video like always. Now it has become a habbit to give a like before even watching the video😂
I think it is the effort you put in your narrating that brings these videos over the top, but the footage doesn’t hurt either! Another great video, thanks again! 👏🏾
dont worry croatia, I have a kayak and been diving every chance I get in Brisbane for 6 months and I havent even seen a fish big enough to shoot yet. this video makes me so frustrated!!
I really love your videos, compared to most other spearfishing youtubers, because you've found a good balance between the amount of talking about the fish and hunt, music and scenic views!
Very good video once again. I just wish that people refrain from spearfishing parrot fishes. A lot of people don't know how important they are for the preservation of the reef ecosystem. They eat every algae on dying corals which allows the corals to recover. The poop of parrotfish nourishes the corals as well. Pls protect this species so we can catch more of other fishes that lives on corals.
Watching your videos is so satisfying, because not only do you get some amazing footage of the ocean, but you also provide your audience with an idea of how riveting spearfishing is, and then finally, you do a short cooking show at the end. 10/10
Another day, another adventure in the sea. Sensational footage, a bit of danger (at 8:32) and a great story. Just brilliant stuff mate. Thanks for making my day.
Great vid as always brother 👍 can't wait for the next one. Bro I imagine those fillet diced into 1/2" squares, bathed in natural lime juice for 3 2 4 hrs in the fridge, drain the juice then mix finely chopped white onions, cylantro, jalapeño, tomato, add salt, pepper if desired and last the magic touch Hellmans mayonnaise, remember all add ons to your taste not to much of anything and try it before you add the Mayo so you taste the difference and see which way tastes better for you. That is called Ceviche and is usually served on a Tostada (a crunchy deep fried corn tortilla). Thanks again for the vid, stay safe brother.
I've been fishing brisbane at pinkinba for the last year and have caught some awesome fish. Watching your video has got me excited to do some research under water.
Great footage and storytelling once again mate, always great getting a notification of a new video from you. Seeing those massive shoals reminded me of Saltstraumen. Just needed a screaming current and 10-metre long kelp ;-) You should try that place sometime, best spearfishing in all of Europe in my opinion
He had some funny axioms. The one that cracked me up most was ‘I used to catch 50 mud crabs here every time I put my pots in now some bastard fished them all out’. ... that was you grandad 🤦♂️
The first time I had a chance to eat the collars or fish wings as mentioned in the cooking portion was a sushi restaurant near my house. I'm friends with the owner, and he likes to bring things to our table to try without us knowing he's going to. He brought out roasted tuna collars that had an incredible crunch to the outer skin once the fats cooked away. There was a lot more meat than I would ever expect and now I'm hooked! Man (Mann!) that was so cool watching your dive all the way to the slot under the rock after grouper! Too bad it vanished, but that doesn't seem to affect the hunt. Hell of a good shot by the way!
Another great video man. Loved this one. I can't believe the fish diversity down there! You get a good taste of both tropical and temperate treasures by the looks!
Daniel, I have instantly fallen for your Videos! You have awakened in me, how absolutely Awesome Spear Fishing can be! Of course your Backyard is Full of so much Awesome Fish!! It’s like you are having the pick of the Aquarium full of Exotic Fish... AND YOU DO!!!!! I’ve been on a Shark Videos Binge for the last 3 Months.... and that, along with being caught in a Riptide when I was about 17, and feeling like I was possibly going to Die, has cured me of the Desire to Swim or SCUBA Dive in the Ocean, any more... but your Videos have been really making me really really Hungry for BBQ’s with such Excellent Fish! If I lived in Australia, with a Backyard like yours, I would definitely let a Knowledgeable Person like you, Educate me about the Shark Situation for a Spear Fisherman, and then try to convince me that it isn’t as Bad as I think.
Daniel Mann should have his own TV show, like Matt Watson does here in NZ. Cause that accent is perfect for voice overs. I'd love to see you diving in NZ. "This Kingfish put up a real fight, but I managed to subdue it, because, well, once you've speared Dogtooth, everything else is a bit easy." Keep up the quality mate. Also liked the subtle words on the roof. Had to replay it 4 times to read what it said.
I suspect all these people going into isolation is going to make your channel explode. You've put in the work - created fantastic content. I hope you reap the rewards.
Dude that is awesome, i recently went to italy to dive in the Mediterranean Sea and its dead there, no fish, no corals nothing. Seeing this is just breathtaking
So stoked to open IPad and see you have this on. thanks Daniel. I have just been chatting with another guy that I suggested subscribe to your channel. Said he watched one video and signed up. I poach from other dive channels because I believe yours is the best product out there, once told you that you should have been doing voice overs as your presentation is sick. Anyway, haven’t watched this one yet, sure it will be your normal presentation, thanks before hand. Loving your work and as a beside, I’m looking into free diving fresh water here in Thailand, absolutely terrible visibility as is fresh water here in the north. Did not realize there’s a few Thai guys into this so is an opportunity for me to make some new dive buddies, going for the Laser eye treatment so I can get back into diving, thanks Daniel, it’s because you inspired me, hope I have increased your subscribers, I nag everyone when they post comments on others sites about how good someone is, I get lots of feedback that people are enjoying your top notch editing and presentation, don’t change what you’re doing, keep as you are, it’s very good mate, take care
Hey man, I just discovered your channel! So far I’m very impressed with the quality of your videos. I’m excited to use them as a source of inspiration for my adventure channel!
I can only spear smaller fish where I am, especially because lake michigan isn't legal to spear in. Although, it's still amazing to swim around pike and spear crappie the size of a small dinner plate.
Great show! Sporty out, eh? That boat had me sketched at first but it handled it better than I anticipated. Super fishy there. I’ve recall footage of you in the other skiff in the ending preview. Seems that small center console is designed to flood and drain out the skuppers? I recall seeing a flash of that in another vid. Don’t see that design in my waters! Interesting. Lots of floatation I assume. Always looking forward to your next one! Thanks. Edit: big bull!!!
I’ve been 100km our to sea in that blue Haines - looks dodgy but all the right part works. It’s my good mates boat and has done more sea time than anyone else boat I know. My little white skiff is a wet deck yes. Also full of bottles for flotation, newer models are foam.
Yo its honestly so awesome how many different species of fish there are. I've lived in Florida all my life east coast, I cant wait to venture somewhere else. Great video as always and come on people subscribe to this guy he needs more subscribers!!
There is quite a good variety in Florida isn’t there? Going through the footage from this day I counted around 15 species that were good quality eating fish that could be taken.
@@jasonallard13 I don't understand how people get in the water with big sharks like that... I know that they almost never attack for people - but to me, that would be just as terrifying as walking next to lions..
You are worthy of 1M subscribers. Youngbloods and you are great to watch.
Except Daniel actually knows there's more to eating fish besides fish wraps with mayo ahah

Not enough time in the day to dive and edit when you’re up at 4am and home at 10pm 🤪

@thors blot this particular reef is not under any threat from over fishing of parrot fish, its about 3km off a remote area.
Watching your videos is so satisfying, because not only do you get some amazing footage of the ocean, but you also provide your audience with an idea of how riveting spearfishing is, and then finally, you do a short cooking show at the end. 10/10
