I know someone mentioned a fabric glue but if you're going to ask that much money, spend a little and take it to a shoe repair shop. Those are in super condition good for you!
I listed a pair of cowboy boots 2 days ago and almost immediately started getting offers. They sold while I was sleeping within 10 hours of listing. Makes me think I miss priced them. Still paid $6 sold for $69 + Shipping. ;=] P.S I live just down the road Near Savannah/Hilton Head Is.
i one had a foot locker sitting beside my porch, my small dog went to barking and when i looked out the door, someone was rummaging through the foot locker. he said he was wanting to buy it from me. problem was i was OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS AND HAD NEVER HAD A GARAGE SALE OR EVEN A SOLD ANYTHING, SO I TOLD HIM TO LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK AS I HAD A DEEP HOLE OUT BACK!
If it were me, I wouldn't worry about the tounge on the Addidas because some ppl buy them to sit on a shelf....collectability! They could get the repairs done, if desired.

Yeah, Google lens is amazing. Sometimes it doesn’t find what I’m looking for. I can’t believe people don’t know about Google lens. But guess what we’re always learning aren’t we. I don’t know how they do theirs, but I put the item I’m listing in whatever box, poly bag or padded envelope I may ship it in, then weigh it on my digital scale. When I do the listing on eBay, I enter the measurements of the box & the weight and eBay will show how much the shipping will be for the customer based on the method of shipping you offer and the weight & box size you entered. If you buy your shipping label on eBay you get a discount on the shipping cost.
Our goodwill gets trucks three times a week. They bring it in. And I’m pretty sure they probably load up the donations from our town and ship them out. Somebody wants told me that that’s how they do it is they bring stuff in probably stuff that didn’t sell in other stores in other areas of the state. So we’re not getting our own stuff. And that stands to reason because I get really really good shoes at this really really bad in Goodwill down the street from me.

There's a lot of good shoes that comes out of my goodwill but unfortunately there's a guy that comes in that has a deal with the employees and grabs all the good ones before anyone else can, I complained to goodwill and they investigated but they didn't do anything.

Those Adidas shoes, the tongue makes me say that they are old, but that leather is like brand brand new, look at the hole punches on the toe of the right shoe, one of the little circle punch outs hasn't even come out all the way which would happen the very first time you wore them. I'd also check what the aglet looks like on the newer ones because those are the type of aglets that you have on '80s shoes.
