Today we are thrifting at the Goodwill at Rainbow and Cheyenne in Las Vegas. The shelves were very full when I walked in and I couldn't wait to get started! You know you love that little saucer. You don't have to have a matching cup. Mismatched vintage cups and saucers are chic! You'll come across the perfect little teacup for it.
❤❤❤. That last bit with your Mom and daughter is so precious. I lost my Mom a few months before you lost yours, and so I really identify with many of your posts (writing this with tears in my eyes). I cherish those little moments that seemed like nothing at the time.

How precious, I’ve been thrifting a selling for about 14 years, I absolutely love it. My mom and I always shopped together she also had a eBay store, She passed almost 3 years ago, I miss her terribly. But I’m still thrifting and selling with her on my mind and in my heart. Oh, yes, I mostly use battery candles, too. Not just safer, but cooler than flame candles in hot climates.
I prefer the battery operated candles too.

A lot of retailers put fall harvest and Halloween out at the same time as back to school items. Always rushing to the next holiday! I’d like to slow down and live in the moment sometimes but if you’re a reseller you need to mimic the retail stores.

My parents used to drag me to Las Vegas every summer when I was a kid.
If you'd have told me I'd be living in Las Vegas when I grew up, I would have thought you were crazy! LOL oxo
I'm not sure what they were, but there was a set of four in the box and they featured the "Highlights" logo in four different colors. That logo is for Highlights for Children, a kids magazine found in every pediatrician's office across America when I was a child, nearly 60 years ago.

Yes, here in Phoenix our stores have had Halloween items out for at least a couple weeks.

When I find a chipped or cracked item at Goodwill, I always put that damage facing forward so the next person can see it more easily

The orrefors berry candle holders are my favorite! I thrifted some and cant resell them because they cast lovely shadows on the wall in the dark with candles burning ❤ great video beautiful friend 💋

So great to see you!! The GW I go to has no goods on the shelves. Everything is on top of the racks except furniture. Shoes have their own racks as do purses but every holiday goods are out year round. Love the cat in the shoe!!❤

It used to be different and.not sure of the change. I love watching you shop and explain as you go along! The GW I go to is the main one that distributes to other GWs in my county. IDK about others but maybe they're like yours.

I love vintage brass, every piece is unique. It brings back childhood memories of 4 generations sitting around the dining table chattering and cleaning my Nanna's vast collection! LOL oxo

I have been known to spray paint the back of trays to pretty up scratched trays. I have been heartily tempted to put a basket inside my cart and collect all of the pricetag-less items and hand them to a staff member. In Maine a lot of people peel the tags off. I smiled when you put your candle holder in the freezer. I usually just put mine in the fridge with the caveat to my SO, "I am not crazy, I'm chilling the candleholder so I can pop out the wax." Fortunately, he usually remembers not to touch stuff I have piled in Jenga piles ready to avalanche! I love how Ziggy is such a lovely; I lost my Squeak, a gray tiger with a black back last year; their faces have such similar coloring. My remaining cat, a tortoiseshell has Tortitude and is not a cuddler; I miss that!

My question about the blue and clear glass candle holder is, if that blue color is flash-painted on, does it harm the paint even if you use gentle, soapy water? I loved how Rio was lovingly looking at the kitty cat. Beautiful animals and lovely hummingbirds.🐾😸💛🧡😊

If prices aren't on Goodwill pieces, if you can find someone putting things out, they will usually get a price for you if you ask. I haven't had anyone say no... Unfortunately, that happens. I think that, for a change, the stickers aren't stuck very well sometimes.

The blue glass bell shaped cloche can be valued up to $60. Especially the vintage ones.
I always watch your videos at night I enjoy how well you know pottery and other items. Locally we are getting a new Goodwill closing two that we have. I did live in Vegas for a short time out behind Boulder highway behind Sam's Town. It was never that hot when I lived there.
I'm pretty sure that cloched container was a candle holder not a butter bell. I used them for candle making.

Silver Dollar City now known as Dollywood makes pottery. Pottery is sold in most every shop. P F and neighbor Gatlinburg, Tennessee sale alot of glass blown, iron, pottery. The maker is normally on sight for their work to be viewed. Its a tourist town. I live about 25-30 miles away. It could be a different P F but im guessing, from Tennessee.
At 37:00 you called that pottery pig something. Sounded like urginkanada. What is that term? What does it mean?
The pig is a brand called Artesania Rinconada, established in Uruguay in 1972. The name translates as "Corner Art" chosen because the two brothers who created the brand worked from a small corner of their living room for many years.

We have 17 Goodwill locations here in Vegas, so if you're looking for the chance of a good deal, Goodwill is my first recommendation. We have Deseret Industries, and several Savers and Salvation Army locations across the valley. Dog Junkies, Faith Lutheran Thrift, and the Assistance League are also favorites. If you are looking for a more curated shopping experience, I would recommend the Charleston Antique Mall. I hope this helps, have a wonderful trip! oxo
