I fell for that shit twice bruh. Once when I was eight I walked into that house and I was stuck there for ten minutes. And then like a month ago I was replaying the game and boom, another ten minutes of my life wasted.
I accidentaly found her last week, when I was doing a nuzlocke of Pokémon Volt White 2 in the challenge mode. And sitrus berries helped me so it was nice
Well, I gotta give them some credit from making all the 3D models, specially coming right after presumably putting so much effort into Gen 5's sprites. But yeah, other than that, I pretty much side with you on this one.

Inside your words, it's easy to find contradictions: Soulless is something, I assume, you use to describe the *animations*, now that, yes, the sprites _are_ animated in a less than ideal way, pretty much having no movement, no feel, no soul. But the models themselves not only had to be crafted from scratch, which is painfully hard to even think about, but they also had to be done right after the staff had put so much work on giving *all* the pokemon the animated sprites from Gen 5. And THAT is what I'm talking about.
Definitely. The fandom hating on this game is definitely what ruined modern day Pokémon. Imagine if these games weren't hated on, we'd be getting damn good Pokémon games right now. However in reality the fandom went brain-dead and hated on these games and due to this we are getting Mediocre Pokémon Games we get today.

BW was innovative in all aspects and tried to be much more complex than the previous games however the fans jumped the hurdle and instantly expressed hate for any remote changes and wanted to go back to standard linear simplistic Pokémon games. I'm saying that the fandom back when these games came out formed a little bit of a hate train for it especially with there wallets. The BW series of games were very lack luster in terms of sales and obviously Gamefreak would then see the games as a bit of a failure, People spreading hatred towards the changes then obviously would put off potential customers so it's no wonder why they now try to avoid what they did when they created BW. Innovative storytelling and Character's alongside just being extremely expansive games. Slowly it's coming back to them though as shown in SWSH so hopefully in due time we shall be back at that level of quality.

I played Pokemon Black 2 this year after getting as gift many years ago! Problem is I never enjoyed Gen 5 when it came out, but growing up and seeing the fandom love for Gen 5, how it aged well and contributed to so many positive changes to Pokemon, especially the competitive side, made me try and play Black 2. I tell you that I was over impressed and in less than 3 weeks I beat the game and got my party all to lvl 100. Black 2 and White 2 are two of the best Pokemon games ever, and I enjoyed so much playing them :)
There is a rich boy in Humilau City that appears inside one of the cabins after you become champion. He will offer you a quest to go up a tower a ring the bell.

Maybe you just don't like that artstyle

Interesting to see how they had the programming in the game for pokemon to follow you. I wonder why they didn't just have that feature again? The overworld sprites for the majority of Pokemon were already made for HGSS, and they were reused in these games for stuff like Hidden Grottoes. They even had a good deal of Gen 5 pokemon with overworld sprites. Wouldn't have been too much harder to fully re-incorporate following pokemon.

On the Xtransceiver when they were going to tell you their names they were about to give you other names (which were their celebrity names). You are only able to see a few letters of that name before they cut themselves off giving you Yancy or Curtis (depending on your gender). In Nimbasa City by the Audino statue there was a lady that mentions about the celebrities coming by and being on their Xtransceivers a lot. Lastly, after returning Yancy or Curtis their Xtransceiver go watch the Celebrity channel on TV. There is a text that will only play once involving Nancy or Christoph.

BW was the first time a Pokemon map was placed linear. But differntly from the 3D generations, Gen5 games were filled by tons of side quests and dungeons. Love it!
If there's one mechanic I'd like to see make a return in the next game, it's the change in seasons. There's just something about walking on a huge pile of leaves or snow in a video game that's oddly satisfying.

I never actually played black and white, cuz i didn't even know of it at the time of release, infact i didn't watch pokemon. But when i played it, hell yeah the plot is god tier. THIS is what a great Pokemon game looks like. This game is lightyears ahead of Sword and Shield.

I got a shiny Virizion in Pokemon Black 2 during my first play. I wasn't even trying, just entered the route triggered its battle and it was a shiny. My first shiny in a pokemon game after the Gyarados in Heart Gold. Anyway, wish you luck ☺.

I never actually played black and white, cuz i didn't even know of it at the time of release, infact i didn't watch pokemon. But when i played it, hell yeah the plot is god tier. Also, black 2 and white 2 have even better plot than 1 versions
But due to some glitch in my game, the season never changes so i am not able to catch regis :(

There is another... on a certain House on Humilau City resides a sad Couple and they'll ask you to go ring the Bell at the Celestial Tower for their dead pokemon. But the twist is, people will try to stop you from reaching the top and the last one has a full team of 6.
The music for route 9 sounds like it came straight from the gen 1 games

You forgot about quest in Humilau City given by a couple in one of the houses but only in the post-game.
The quiz is my favorite, though the reward isn't that much but still fun.
