God i remember John E lee when he had one Scania and used to bring dirty food trays to machins traywash to get cleaned, i was the forklift driver that always unloaded him , his nickname was Bronc . Over the years ive worked for most of these haulage companies bringing back some awesome memories ❤❤🎉

As an Old School Lorry Driver from Cheltenham a Lincolnshire lorry of Grounds of Spalding evokes a childhood memory. Between Cheltenham and Winchcombe via Cleeve Hill there was a severe bend (now a layby)... A Grounds of Spalding loaded with potatoes on a Commer 2 Stroke and 4 in line early morning heading South went over!!!! Potatoes everywhere so all the kids plus carrier bags whizzed up there to help""" Salvage The Load""".... Forever after until this day this place is called "" Potato. Corner. "" "Douglas Vick.!!!
Nice to see a Jon Gent motor in the pictures, I met him a couple of times he was a real nice bloke. I called him up on the CB once near Cluses and Geoff Gilbert was driving his motor as Jon's brother had sadly died and he had flown home. I had a nice chat with Geoff Gilbert. I drove for R. B. Welch. Does anyone remember them?
That brings back so many fabulous memories, sad to think that most no longer exist. It’s a shit wasteful world we live in .. don’t suppose anybody’s got a photo of barnfarther trucks that were a common site in the 90,s.. I think they were a northern company and were eventually bought out by aah distribution

But can you solve this in less than ten minutes ....? I bought some grade A goose eggs for $7 for four and some grade B goose eggs at $9 for six. If the total cost was $117 ... How many grade A eggs did i buy ? How much did i spend on the grade B eggs ? Regards......Elmer Fudd !..,
