LIVESTOCK TRUCKS IN CUMBRIA 29 SEPTEMBER 1994

A day out in Cumbria mostly looking for livestock trucks. visits to the marts at Penrith, Lazonby, Carlisle and Longtown. A few other trucks seen passing Longtown and at Penrith and Carlisle Truckstops.

Beautiful lorry's beautiful to drive back in the days drove a scania 143 streamliner for a company called chitty lovely lorry better than the rubbish today and you even had a gear stick.

F12's/143's apart - but I love that 113M 360 of Mc Burney's at 2.50 they were super trucks very reliable, nice to drive and economical. Liked.

Makes you feel old !! . I started in 1971 on a GUY big J4T with a 150 gardener !!. Still got my class 1 or lgv or CE as I must call it now.

Side loaded timber, them were the days. Millicans lorry at 8.50 drove her when I worked there early 2000,s. Great bid.
