I'm REALLY impressed at the turning radius of those trailers!! And especially the way the turning mechanism appears to be automated based on the hitch linkage between the truck and trailer. Clever design!!

We actually do carry locomotives around just not the full 200tons. The frame, trucks, engine and body parts are all separate loads on separate trucks. Trail king doesn't make a 200ton gvw truck trailer combination for us hwys.

Facilities to repair, build, rebuild, paint, wash, look at and even scrap are strangely enough always located on a track. So this is indeed an odd site

That made my day seeing that ! As many semi-trailers are carried on American Railroads, it's about time we carried a locomotive.
