I only had NES (got on Christmas 1988) until Christmas 1996 when I got a PlayStation. I would play the MK games regularly over at my best friend's house. He even got arcade boards for the first 2. He had like every home version of the games and always wanted them to be arcade perfect. I remember when MK3 came out that he was not a fan of the cyber ninjas, but Cyrax and Sub-Zero were my main kharacters. I would play UMK3 at Putt-Putt Golf all the time and enjoyed it so very much!
I remember getting mk1 for super Nintendo and the Genesis had blood ans snes didn't i wanted to get it for Sega after that. But I would use Shang Tsung the most and morph into the character good against who the other would pick but yeah I like the cyber ninjas smoke was one of my favorites and ermac also
My wife and I cannot get into our new house soon enough. No clue when it'll happen though. I have these games on GOG (MK, MK II, MK3, MKT, and MK4) and Steam (MK, MK II, and UMK3), and I've managed to make them look really good. They're not the arcade though! I love my memories of playing the arcades so very much! Have you played yours online yet? I read that they have a WiFi connection. I think that'd be pretty cool to play online against another arcade. Edit: I wonder if anyone has figured out how to play the MUGENs on the arcade 1up. If so, that's really cool.

I don't have wifi on mine wish I did. The arcade memories were the best was the place to be. Good luck on your new house
