100% Star Wars I have been a fan of revan for a long time played all the games, but one question I want to ask you what happened to Bastila and revans son after revan went to destroy lord vitiate and is revans descendant still alive to this day?
This is why we need an Old Republic series based on Revan's character arc. It is deep, layered, intelligent and captivating. More so than what Lucas was doing for decades.
Much as I agree, I'm terrified they'd just muck it all up... I've been very disappointed by 7 and 8, if they ruin my Revan to I think I'd blow a gasket lol
Goncalo Freitas I didn’t play enough of TOR to get to the Revan content, but I’ve read the book and some of the overviews of the game content. Several people I know had the same reaction you have. What didn’t you like about TOR part of his story?
Man the idea to bind the jedi to him while taking out the mandalorians at the same time was a masterstroke by revan, but showed his growing ruthlessness and dark influence, great work
I'm loving this Revan series. Not sure how your channel has escaped me for so long. 90% of my youtubing is SW related and usually Old Republic at that.
Wow! and I thought I knew Revan! Great stuff, looking forward to finishing this series! May have to load up my old copy of KotOR after watching these.... ahhh the memories
Revan is the greatest Jedi of all time. I wish they made a movie. But the part of story that people talk about is his capture for 300 years. Someone needs to re-write that part. Revan would have never been captured in that way.
Ok he's great but not invincible. xD And let's not forget he was captured by Bastila, regardless of the circumstances. So if Bastila can do it (with a little help from Malak) so can Vitiate. (spoilers for new SWTOR players ahead) The part of SWTOR I disliked was the Foundry Flashpoint part, where he's killed by a random group of not yet accomplished people, who could very well be all non force sensitive. xD Like wtf. And for a time, that was his canonical final death. Shadows of Revan redeems this - somewhat.
@@jitbrady7158 Wut lol what you on about? xD (sigh) I didn't ignore anything. You just said the same thing as me with different words. But my point, regardless, is that Revan is not invincible and there are ways to capture him. He's capturable. And if anyone can do it it's Vitiate. Also you must have read only half the words of my post because I was doing the opposite of defending SWTOR. Although my critiques don't represent how I feel about that game in general.
Nah his capture made sense, he was betrayed...again. 😂 literally every time he gets to a big plot point an ally betrays him. To be fair this ally had a force vision during their fight with the emperor and saw not only would they lose and die, but then the emperor would wipe out all know life to become truly immortal. So there’s that.
Reven is my favourite character in star wars alongside obi wan kenobi, I found these videos incredibly entertaining and a great way to summarise the story of Revan. Thanks Brother.
Fucking awesome stuff like always man! There was so much in this that I didn't know about that pieced together things from Kotor 1 all the way to even Swtor stuff. I'm really looking forward to the next installment of this. You're probably one of the only youtubers exploring the extreme depth of a character like this, and it's a character that deserves every minute of it. #revanfanboyconfirmed xd an thanks for the shoutout :,)
That's what I hope gives the channel a unique perspective within the Star Wars TH-cam Community! And aren't we all #RevanFanBoys :D You deserved it, you've been one of my most consistent supporters, thank you!
Revan was a lot more bad ass then Anakin, theres a lot of similarities but they were much darker back then, the Sith were way more powerful then palpatine. Malak and Revan both were more powerful I bet. Really want to see this played out in cannon.
Revan is much more nuanced, well traveled and purposeful than Anakin ever was. Anakin was a tool, literally and figuratively. He never had a thought of his own before his eventual fall, and afterwards his goals were revenge and power.
Meh. Revan called the Jedi Counsil out on their need to just sit around on their ass and spout psychobabble nonsense, while genocidal monsters where raping and pillaging. Anakin got his feewings hurt because none of the Jedi Counsil wouldn't let him play any Jedi Master games. Revan married the woman he loved, and sacrificed himself in the hopes that it would have provided a peaceful future for his unborn son to live in. Anakin killed all of the younglings, and force choked the woman he supposedly loved because "Something, something, power. Something, something, dark side." Revan = Grey Jedi Chad who used the light & dark side to right his wrongs, and actually tried to defend the people of the Republic even if it meant he would die. Anakin = The Elliot Rodgers of Star Wars, who got all upset because he wasn't some super special person, and more than likely had a blog filled with videos of him moaning over first world problems.
Revan's strategies are arguably the best in Star Wars history. I'd say his genius can only be matched by Bane, who was able to eliminate most of the Brotherhood of Darkness and a large amount of The Army of Light, who served as a threat, having faced against Sith. But Bane's plan through Revan's teaching ended up winning through Palpatine for a time. And ofc Thrawn has amazing strategic prowess, but I mean Force Sensitive history.
@@100StarWarssame. What is so interesting to me is how dominant he is, in almost every way except for the darkest of sorcery, yet he’s not overbearing or gruesomely obnoxious to the reader. Despite the death and destruction he causes, I can only want to emulate him. To me he doesn’t lust for power and conquering; he’s driven only to win, as decisively and with as much finality as possible regardless of lives, assets, planets…!, as opposed to lusting for power for ego and power’s sake. Finally, he has such a single minded approach to achieving a goal - but he’s able to extend that single mindedness to the entire theater of battle. That laser like focus he has in order to achieve a singular goal, is coupled to an ability to still view the entire war from a general’s perspective. What’s extraordinary is his natural ability - or characteristic, since it’s the only way he’s capable of thinking - to extend that singleminded focus globally; he’s commanding in parallel instead of only serially. He’s playing chess, but instead a couple moves out, he has the entire game going in his head from start to finish. AND he has five or six games playing simultaneously. It’s mine blowing how well written his character is, and how beautiful his character development has been accomplished. What’s even more impressive is how well received Revan is by the entire community. It is rare - very rare - I see any indication fans think his power potential is overdone. If anything, it’s challenging to not have him defeated too easily (I’m thinking of his actual death here, but I haven’t studied the scenario yet). The same cannot be said for other characters, obvious examples in a particular Marvel story, the latest trilogy. (Don’t get me started on the endless examples of poor writing - a horse like creature attacking on the outer hull of a spaceship? My second thought dwelling on animal cruelty…. Impressive, I was able to stop it there.)
Wait, what? Revan and Malak discussed murdering Meetra? What the frak for? And what does her being disconnected from the force have anything to do with sparing her life? She was just following orders! Am I missing something? Edit: Read a lot, all three were summoned by the Council, presumably for the Malachor ‘warmcrime.’ I get why Revan and Malak ignored it, but Surik responded. Her story will fill a novel; her life after Malachor is a hero’s tragedy.
I play Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and because of that game, I became really interested in the Old Republic, especially Revan (I played KOTOR/2, but I didn’t understand the game at all. I was just happy to be a sith lol). Your videos are amazing man. I learned a lot so far.
I really wish the game did a flash back to the Malacor 5 battle! I had no idea Bao Dur was involved. I'd love to see how it all went down & how those that survived were able to.
What source material was used to make these 1st two videos? Your videos give so much depth on his life pre-KOTOR it almost feels like there are other books that fully explain a lot Pre-KOTOR and I would love to get my hands on all of it.
A variety of places. The KOTOR comics, The Revan novel, Both KOTOR games. I'd say a hefty majority of the info comes from the KOTOR comics - readcomiconline.to/Comic/Star-Wars-Knights-Of-The-Old-Republic And then you have all the encyclopedias!
I love KOTOR it also nicely ties in the Tales of the Jedi comics. Nomi Sundrider, Exar Kun, etc. It totally makes sense why the Jedi didn't want to go to war, they were still licking their wounds from Exar Kun's war. No doubt Revan was supposed to be the hope and the future of the Jedi along with Malak. Yet in the end, it horribly went wrong. The Mandalorians invaded and the Jedi and the Republic were war-weary. So in the end, the Jedi were very much responsible for Revan's descent. They didn't want war despite the fact that the Mandalorians were basically going to kick the door down anyway.
I recall having an argument with someone over whether or not Revan, would have fallen to the Darkside had the Council guided the war effort and not him. What do you think?
Revan had always been guided by knowledge his desire for knowledge seems almost similar to Exar Kun's thirst for knowledge. However, Kun was driven to a knowledge of Dark Side and the Sith at the start. It's almost as if Exar wanted to be a Sith even as a Jedi. Revan's pursuit of knowledge was always to help others out. I think Revan's fall was more out of a desire to help the Republic and it was very altruistic rather than for a self-centered desire. I think this is why Revan was able to break free from Vitiate's mental manipulation a lot more than Malak could. Malak still was following the mental programming from Vitiate. Vitiate wanted the Republic crushed. Revan wanted to reform the Republic. I think in the end, Revan still would have fallen due to Vitiate and his own thirst for knowledge from both sides of the Force. I think a lot of this influence is also from Kreia/Arren Kae. Kreia/Kae was faulted that her teachings caused Revan to pursue knowledge in a non-conventional approach. If you follow the fact that Kreia sees Atris as a mirror of herself.
Let's assume that Revan is just a commander, leading small missions (not the entire war effort). Do you still think he would've stumbled upon Malachor (which is where he fell to the Dark Side) and become obsessed with the Sith Empire?
That's a good question. Maybe he would have. Maybe he wouldn't have. The good question would be to ask where did Revan come upon knowledge of the Star Forge/Maps? Was it from Malachor? Or did Revan simply become curious of the ruins on Dantooine and explored on his own. The Dark Side could be felt there as Malak mentioned during the game play movie. So I think in many respects, the potential for Revan to find the Dark Side either from Malachor or from other areas would have been found and Revan would have sought it out. It is interesting that game play of KOTOR has Dorak saying sorry, the archives are only for Masters. I think Dorak let Revan study from his forbidden knowledge. lol
I always assumed it was just curiosity. As Malak makes the point of how they would be banished if the Jedi found out, I assumed it was like an off limits sort of thing and Revan's curiosity got the better of him. But then again it was not the Star Forge that led him down the Dark Path, it was Malachor. Sure, he may have followed the maps to the Star Forge eventually, but I think the War would've played out very differently and thus KOTOR would have too!
One who holds power and one who seeks power. But was there an end to darth Revan's philosophy like Bane or was it only a outline for the management of the sith rather the planned purpose of bane?
"True power can come only to those who embrace the transformation. There can be no compromise. Mercy, compassion, loyalty: all these things will prevent you from claiming what is rightfully yours. Those who follow the dark side must cast aside these conceits. Those who do not-those who try to walk the path of moderation-will fail, dragged down by their own weakness. Those who accept the power of the dark side must also accept the challenge of holding on to it. By its very nature the dark side invites rivalry and strife. This is the greatest strength of the Sith: it culls the weak from our order. Yet this rivalry can also be our greatest weakness. The strong must be careful lest they be overwhelmed by the ambitions of those working beneath them in concert. Any master who instructs more than one apprentice in the ways of the dark side is a fool. In time, the apprentices will unite their strengths and overthrow the master. It is inevitable; axiomatic. That is why each Master must have only one student." "This is also the reason there can only be one Dark Lord. The Sith must be ruled by a single leader: the very embodiment of the strength and power of the dark side. If the leader grows weak another must rise to seize the mantle. The strong rule; the weak are meant to serve. This is the way it must be" Revan's Holocron was the basis for the Sith Rule of two. But his teachings were hidden away on Lehon for a long time. Not to mention, he himself was redeemed and could never implement it. Bane found Revans teachings and implemented them into Sith Culture thousands of years later.
+100% Star Wars Revan did implement that idea. Revan was the sole Dark Lord leading the Sith and each Master on Korriban only had 1 apprentice. With were still allowed to be legion, but each Master could only have one apprentice and there could one be one Dark Lord to lead them all. However, even Revan's idea was flawed as we see on Korriban in KOTOR. The apprentices will simply ally with the apprentices of another Master, or manipulate others into helping them cast down their own personal Master. Bane was the one who took the concept even further (or misunderstood Revan's words) and made the Rule of Two, restricting the entire order to two Sith. One to embody the power, the other to crave it.
From my knowledge, it was added (I could be wrong, although I'm about 90% sure I'm right). I think originally, Revan joined the Dark Side and turned against the Republic as conventional Sith do. Then in KOTOR 2, Kreia claims Revan didn't truly want death and destruction like most Sith, he actually wanted to control and rebuild the Republic in order to defend itself from a much bigger threat in the unknown regions (true Sith). Then in SWTOR, they brought in the story of the Sith Emperor controlling them and causing the war.
I mean I like him not wanting typical power revan was a general and always thought ahead of others always a step ahead which is why I like him turning to correct the republic making it better
@@100StarWars I thought the emperors influence made him sith but didn’t take away his will to make the republic what he originally wanted. A force to combat the sith empire. I don’t think the three ideas are different to be honest.
"HK-47 was created as a means for Revan to wipe out selective targets secretly & without collateral damage." *Me: He did a horrible job, cause that droid wants a lot of collateral damage!*
I truly feel like revans downfall began when his memories returned from the outer realms with the emperor. He should have helped malak and freed his memories as well. As malak the one who questioned the darkside teachings was now consumed with death and destruction. And revan just continued to treat malak as his inferior, malak was never a match for revan but revan needed him and had he helped malak. Revans plan to rebuild the republic may have succeeded.
Thank you! There are plenty! I can't remember them all as this video was a while ago now. But If there's any specific source you'd want, then I can find it for you :D
Revan should be cannon he's such a cool character and he's probably the only 1 who understands the force because he's been the only 1 to understand both sides of the force(to my knowledge).
Origin’s: Arren Kae was bron in the Outer-Rim, trained as a Jedi on the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and pursue the life as a historian. She developed different ideal’s from the other Jedi, wanting to have the Sith Teaching’s as a contrast to help better understand the Jedi teaching’s. 3 decade’s passed, Jedi Knight Revan was bron in the Outer-Rim like his master, taken in and trained under her on Dantooine. Jedi Knight Revan befriended other Youngling’s such as Alek and Meetra Surik. Jedi Knight Revan went from master to master, to gain more knowledge of the Jedi teaching’s and the Force, which was kind of a concern by the master’s. Meetra Surik was trained under Vima Sunrider, then had other master’s such as Kavar. 2 decade’s passed and Jedi Knight Revan and co were Knighted. Knight’s of the Old Republic - Mandalorian Wars: Mandalorian started their 1st crusade on the galaxy, starting with the Outer-Rim and later to to the Mid-Rim. The Republic battled against them but were loosing and called aid from the Jedi who refused. The Jedi urged caution and examined the threat, however the trio defied the council and rallied the Jedi to their cause and battle the Mandalorian’s with the viciousness of their own. The Jedi trio were cold in the war, less concerned of morality and focused on victory of war. Their 1st battle was on one of the Onderon moon Dxun, later on Onderon itself. Jedi Knight Revan founded Malachor, there he found teaching’s of the old Sith teaching’s and he shared this info to his 2 allies. This is the start of their journey into the Dark Side. While Meetra was battling on Takodana Jedi Knight Revan & Alek found a ruin far from the Jedi Enclave and discovered the existence of the Rakata and a map that lead’s to the Star Forge. They then ventured to other 4 planet’s, Manaan, Tatooine, Kashyyyk and Moraband. They then found out the location of where the Star Forge is. However, they turned their attentioned back to the war itself and continued to battle against the Mandalorian’s. Jedi Knight Revan led a group to free slave’s on Taris, this is were he’d meet a young Carthar female name Juhani, she would go on and become a Jedi Padawan and trained on Dantooine. The final battle would take place above Malachor V (different planet then Malachor from Rebel’s). Jedi Knight Revan would challenged Mandalore The Ultimate and defeated him in his flag ship. He was told that the Mandalorian’s were convinced by the Sith to attack the Republic. Meetra Surik told an Iridonian name Bao-Dur to activate a super-weapon called the Mass Shadow Generator, which pulled ship’s out of orbit and destroyed the surface of Malachor V. Meetra Surik had created Force-Bond’s with other’s, with all the soldier’s and Jedi destroyed on Malachor, this created a wound within her and the planet. She cut herself off from the Force and was exiled by the Jedi Council. Jedi Knight Revan & Alek, became Sith Lord’s and ventured into the Unknown Region’s. Darth Revan and Darth Malak had discovered the true Sith Empire, they went on to find the Star Forge. However they their ship was pulled down on a planet Lethon, home to the Rakata species. They were founded by a Rakatan tribe called ones, Darth Revan communicated to the ones and agreed to help them to steal a tomb of knowledge from their rival tribe known as the elder’s. In exchange, they would be given access to the temple of the ancient’s which could access to the Star Forge weapon. When they met with the Elder’s, Darth Revan decided to make a deal with them instead. The Elder’s wanted to atone for their species sin’s against the galaxy and Darth Revan promised he’d destroy the Star Forge. When he was given access to the temple, he betrayed their trust and destroyed their distrupt field, blocking the exit from the planet. Darth Revan learned of the Sith Empire’s existence and so he plan’s to strenghten the Republic under his rule. He plan’s out what part’s to invade part’s of the Republic but keep the the infrastructure intact. Corrupt the Jedi to the Dark Side with the Sith teaching’s. Star Wars: Knight’s of the Old Republic - Origin’s: Near the end of 3,999 B.B.Y, Jedi Youngling Revan was born somewhere in the Outer-Region’s world’s. He was taken into the Jedi Order, more so the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. He was assinged to a Jedi Historian name Arren Kae, she isn’t like other Jedi. As an exampe, believing that one need’s a contrast so she used the Sith Code to contrast the Jedi Code to find answer’s about the Jedi Code. Jedi Padawan Revan met another young Padawan name Alek, the 2 became friend’s and trained together on the temple of Coruscant and Dantooine. When they learned all they could from a master, they went from master to master to gain more knowledge of the Lightsaber technique’s and the abilities of the Force used by the Jedi. However a Twi’lek Jedi Master name Zhar Lestin, noted to the other council member’s of Jedi Padawan Revan’s hunger for knowledge. This kind of cause a slight concern by the Order. To Arren Kae, Jedi Padawan Revan was power, it was like starring into the Heart of the Force. Meetra Surik was born within the same time as Jedi Youngling Revan, somewhere within in Mid-Rim and was taken to the Jedi Enclave as well. When in her late Teenage year’s and early adult hood, she was taken assigned as a Padawan to an unknown master. A Jedi Knight name Kavar unofficially took her as her Padawan. However, a Mandalorian crusade’s were taking place and so Kavar went off to battle them. The Jedi Council urged Kavar to not be involved but he went to battle anyway. Meetra Surik went on to be trained by other Jedi Master’s, such as the daughter of the Grand Master of Nomi Sunrider name Vima Sunrider and Zez-Kai Ell. Vima Sunrider taught her the ability to severe once connection to the Force, called “The Wall of Light”, used by Nomi against Ulic when he struck his brother Cay down decade’s prior and to seal Exar Kun away. However Vima greatly cautioned her about this ability. Meetra had been forming bond’s with other Jedi within the Order, more so with younger member’s around Knighthood. From then on, Meetra Surik went on to become one of the most powerful and skilled Padawan’s within the Order, only under Jedi Padawan Revan. Jedi Padawan Revan, Alek and Meetra Surik were promoted to the rank of Knight. In the end, Jedi Padawan Revan came back to Arren Kae, when he realized there was nothing more to be learned from the Jedi - expect how one could leave them forever. Star Wars: Knight’s of the Old Republic - Mandalorian Wars: Mandalorian Crusade’s were still taking place throughout the Outer-Region’s. Then went on preying on the Old Republic. They fought against the army of the Republic, winning victory after victory, until the Republic called the Jedi for aid. Jedi Council refused as they believe they should examine the threat. Jedi Knight Revan was furious, so he and Alsk defied the Council’s wishes and went on to pursuade the younger member’s of the Order to join them and battle against the Mandalorian’s. Jedi Knight Revan was known as the Jedi Crusader by the Republic Media Outlet’s because of his action’s. Meetra Surik followed Jedi Knight Revan’s cause. Whatever comes up must go down as they say :). The Republic is very lucky that they had such a large manpower reserve to draw on, if they had the manpower reserves similar to the Mandalorians, they would've fallen at Dxun.
100% Star Wars why were the Republic so weak in the Mandalorian Wars? I mean, the Republic vessels were extremely powerful. As Taris learnt the hard way
;,( Revan's novelisation was horrible, you should stick to the KotR games cannon... I prefeer much more kreia's vision of revan, with he "chose" the dark side and did the civil war to save the republic, not as a vanguard. For me Revan never falled to dark side, he did surpass the jedi boundaries to destroy the sith. But it's not your fault, you are just passing information, and your is just as cannon as mine (notcannon) that is why I like to pick the one that I think is better. thanks for the videos
Redemption is used because after the revelation of his past, he chooses to keep upon the path of good. He redeemed himself by bringing an end to the evil he created. Revans journey in KOTOR opens his eyes, once he learns of his past, his personality and memories resurface, but he chooses to follow the path of redemption rather than return to his former self as Darth Revan.
I need you to help me write a tv series about the mandalorian wars. 3 seasons 8 episodes per season 1 hour per episode. Starts with the first Mandalorian attack. Ends with revan awakening in the endar spire.
So basically in a way Revan and malec were victims of the emperor. not that there's any excuse for them falling slightly to the dark side but he made them puppets and then they thought his thoughts and ideas loved in their brains were their own ideas and begun a war against the republic? Kind of sad when you think about makes me think what if? if the emperor had not dominated their minds would their have began a war or returned to the light side?
Revan was pretty disgusted with the Council and the Chancellor. I think he’d have thought he needed to break the Republic anyway. There was so much corruption and infighting, he would conquer it and rule as a benevolent dictator. A reset and a reform.
I think he’d maintain a right to claim it, but they’re scattered. He’s got enough on his plate. I think he wants to wrap this up, die a Jedi, and merge with Bastila; maybe meet his son, Force willing. Stupid Force - chaos and mayhem.
In a way, yes and no. He was given a new identity, but his usual personality began to show through the cracks of his fake identity during the course of the game!
I made a fan story for this. It's never really explained, but I think (personally) that Revan knew of Bastila's attack, and intended to take her captive so he could replace Malak.
100% Star Wars I'm pretty sure the person who manipulated Mandalore was a Redskin female Sith not a Redskin male Sith. Sorry, if I'm not picking, I'm a bit of a Star Wars grammar Nazi lore fan and have an uncontrollable urge to keep things accurate.

Disney/LucasArts aren't capable of making a proper Revan/Old Republic movie and they know it.
Wow, so Revan was basically the creator of Darth Nihilius! That is so cool!
Meetra did, but Revan played a role!
from a certain point of view, yes
Bane too!
@@mobiedyche9266 no just gave him the idea for "The Rule Of Two", but Bane saw him as brilliant
If Nihilius ever meet Revan what do you think would happen
Revan is a study of Sun Tzu's 'Art of War'. The 1/10 is a direct quote from it... Revan pulls the advantage and is like water in combat.

Revan is the greatest Jedi of all time. I wish they made a movie. But the part of story that people talk about is his capture for 300 years. Someone needs to re-write that part. Revan would have never been captured in that way.
Agreed :D
Ok he's great but not invincible. xD And let's not forget he was captured by Bastila, regardless of the circumstances. So if Bastila can do it (with a little help from Malak) so can Vitiate. (spoilers for new SWTOR players ahead) The part of SWTOR I disliked was the Foundry Flashpoint part, where he's killed by a random group of not yet accomplished people, who could very well be all non force sensitive. xD Like wtf. And for a time, that was his canonical final death. Shadows of Revan redeems this - somewhat.
@@Kyfas7 Bastila only captured him because Malak fired upon his ship and knocked him out lmao, do you just ignore context to defend SWTOR?
I´m so hooked to this story, your narrative skills are helping for sure.
That means a lot man, thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story ;)
Revan defeated the best of us during the war, and for that he has earned our respect.

This is pretty awesome, I've always been looking for a video sumarizing Revan's history like this. Thanks for this series!
No problem, I hope you enjoy it all! :)
Revan is like the anakin of the old republic
You could say that yeah, very similar in some regards! :)
Something, something, dark side."
Revan = Grey Jedi Chad who used the light & dark side to right his wrongs, and actually tried to defend the people of the Republic even if it meant he would die.
Anakin = The Elliot Rodgers of Star Wars, who got all upset because he wasn't some super special person, and more than likely had a blog filled with videos of him moaning over first world problems.
@@papabaer6069 that’s not true
I hope your channel grows and you make a Darth Krayt Video! and a Freedon Nadd.
These two besides Revan are mt favorites!!!
They're some great suggestions!
I'd say Revan is unmatched - Bane was just following much of Revan's teachings anyway.
For the love of God. We deserve this epic story to be made into a tv show or movie trilogy. This is top tier Star Wars!!!!
Great video. Looking forward to the third part!
Also, thank you for not using the Wilhelm Scream. I hope you continue to make that decision.

Excellent as always.

I agree :P
What source material was used to make these 1st two videos? Your videos give so much depth on his life pre-KOTOR it almost feels like there are other books that fully explain a lot Pre-KOTOR and I would love to get my hands on all of it.
A variety of places. The KOTOR comics, The Revan novel, Both KOTOR games. I'd say a hefty majority of the info comes from the KOTOR comics - readcomiconline.to/Comic/Star-Wars-Knights-Of-The-Old-Republic
And then you have all the encyclopedias!
This is the greatest strength
of the Sith: it culls the weak from our order. That is why each Master must have only one student."
"This is also the reason there can only be one Dark Lord. The Sith must be ruled by a single leader: the very embodiment of the strength and power of the dark side. If the leader grows weak another must rise to seize the mantle. The strong rule; the weak are meant to serve. This is the way it must be"
Revan's Holocron was the basis for the Sith Rule of two.
So were Revan and Malak always puppets of Vitiate or did swtor add that part?
Malak: Why are you so mad at me?
Revan: Oh, no reason. Except for the ten million people you bombarded into atoms, on Telos.
Malak: That’s it?
Long live Darth Revan 🔥
"HK-47 was created as a means for Revan to wipe out selective targets secretly & without collateral damage."
*Me: He did a horrible job, cause that droid wants a lot of collateral damage!*
Heh, even to himself!
It certainly may have. But Malak was seduced by the Star Forge more than the Dark Side itself. It's lucky Revan stayed away.

Darth Revan: I do not fight for honor...I fight for revenge
Origin’s:
Arren Kae was bron in the Outer-Rim, trained as a Jedi on the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and pursue the life as a historian.
Knight’s of the Old Republic - Mandalorian Wars:
Mandalorian started their 1st crusade on the galaxy, starting with the Outer-Rim and later to to the Mid-Rim.
While Meetra was battling on Takodana
Jedi Knight Revan & Alek found a ruin far from the Jedi Enclave and discovered the existence of the Rakata and a map that lead’s to the Star Forge.

Mandalorian Crusade’s were still taking place throughout the Outer-Region’s.

So, Jolee saw Revan during the Mandalorian Wars when he discovered the Kashyyyk Star Map eh?
Whatever comes up must go down as they say :). The Republic is very lucky that they had such a large manpower reserve to draw on, if they had the manpower reserves similar to the Mandalorians, they would've fallen at Dxun.
I see what you did there 😃
100% Star Wars :)
100% Star Wars Mandalore giving a soldier's excuse, trying to cover up the disastrous loss of Malachor V :)
Ohh you made an edit to the main post! Yes, you're right, the republic won through a battle of attrition rather than skill or tactics!
Thanks for watching them :) And I agree, I don't particularly agree with the SWTOR story tropes, my head-canon is still with KOTOR 2 :D
What did you use for source material?
The Games.
Music used?
Why didn't Revin claim the helmet for himself? Wouldn't that make him the leader of the Mandalorians?
Nah, not really
I think he’d maintain a right to claim it, but they’re scattered. He’s got enough on his plate.
I think he wants to wrap this up, die a Jedi, and merge with Bastila; maybe meet his son, Force willing.
Stupid Force - chaos and mayhem.
Do abeloth and darth vade or legends luke skywalker
Tell me revan stop being Revan after the Jedi rbainwashed him?
In a way, yes and no. He was given a new identity, but his usual personality began to show through the cracks of his fake identity during the course of the game!
You pronounce rakata wrong.
Link to said person who chated with you?
Do you mean the subscribers who I chatted with? You can find them in my comment sections :D If that's what you mean!
if Revan was such a genius why did he fall for the jedi trick. Surely he would have known them far too well....?
I made a fan story for this. It's never really explained, but I think (personally) that Revan knew of Bastila's attack, and intended to take her captive so he could replace Malak.
sneaky. i got all nostalgic and am once again ass deep in swtor
I go through stages like that 😂
Answer again!!!! *WHYYYY IS THIS NOT A MOVIE??!!*
I always pronounced it "cherka" corporation lol
#revan
Jedi girl saves unconscious Sith Lord. Then they have sex. It's the oldest story in the datacron.
Woman of red skin not a man, other than that great job with the video.
What do you mean?
100% Star Wars I'm pretty sure the person who manipulated Mandalore was a Redskin female Sith not a Redskin male Sith. Sorry, if I'm not picking, I'm a bit of a Star Wars grammar Nazi lore fan and have an uncontrollable urge to keep things accurate.
It's fine 😄 He was definitely a man :)
My revan is sith
I'm confused Revan was spoken about as being a woman not a man in Kotor 2 so why is everyone saying Revan is male?
He's spoken about being a Woman if you play a Man, and spoken about as Man if you play a Woman as the player character.

NoOOoOoOoOoOoOo
Great content but am I the only one that cringed every time he pronounced hk-47 with a strong h. It sounded like haychkay-47
I'm glad you enjoy it! Sadly, that's how H's are pronounced where I'm from 😂
