A good sword is enough. But a blaster and a force stun works well too. I prefer a adhesive and posion grenade.
@@articusramos808 The others will help you out but you actually can get get a lightsaber before you fight Visas if you get the parts from Jorran. Get Bao-Dur to help you build it and upgrade at the workbench inside Khoonda before boarding the ship again.

This is the first thing that was in my head after i read her name
Ya know, I’ve always thought that Visas and Bastila became leaders of the resurgent Jedi Order after Meetra left them. Visas just strikes me as naturally wise, given her experiences with Nihilus and Meetra. To my mind she grew over the course of KOTOR 2 into a wise, powerful and fiercely individualistic Jedi, the kind of person that nobody could ignore whenever she spoke.
She's sort of a good Kreia in a way.
Cailus Griffin Unless she dies...I can never bring myself to sacrifice her though, even on a Dark Side playthrough. She's truly waifu material.

Visas is a beautiful character.i actually felt bad for her the way that nihilus abused her and destroyed her home. You can hear the pain and sadness in her voice. Even after she attacks my surik i still couldnt kill her. I play a male surik and what i see is visas was shown theres more to life than death.love being one thing she felt for surik.it was absolutely tragic to see her kill herself to sever her tie with nihilus. A choice i dont allow her to do.

I had always loved Visas. She always had a feeling of Royalty to her. But I never knew her true beliefs before kotor 2. It's... interesting... how corrupt her views became. And it's honestly sad. It reminds me of an abusive relationship... Nihilus being the abuser, forcing a belief on her. Where she has grown to believe the abuse is necessary and right. It's honestly one of the saddest things...
I'm in a glass case of emotions :(

Love Visas and male Exile even though Male Exile is not the established Legions Canon. I like the romantic devotion that Visas has for the Exile.

So... Revan ended up making meetra make nihilus. The jedi order and due to revan made traya, traya made nihilus and sion power who in turn made traya kreia. Atris made Visas who she is... Only for meetra to bring a end to it all... Damn kotor 2 is nothingg short of others causing suffering

Visas is the kind of woman you would break you oaths for. Even if you were the best trained jedi in the galaxy,it would be impossible not to fall deeply in love with in her. It would have been nice an ending where the exile and her try to discover ways of healing wounds in the force,blindness and anything else through a new way of teaching non-jedi or sith based in connections with one another.

KOTOR 1 and 2 are still 2 of my fave games. I love the story lines and history. They are classics. I really love these in depth stories of the KOTOR characters. I've really installed on my new lap top and am looking forward to getting back into the KOTOR world!

When SWTOR came out in 2011, they published some books and I read them all. It really helped tie in KOTOR and TOR. I really loved the lore and yeah, gonna enjoy the heck out of them! I even found my old game guides for KOTOR 1 and 2! :)
I'm not a massive fan of the tie ins to KOTOR, in fact I barely like any of SWTORS connection to KOTOR. But some of SWTORS original stuff is really great :)

Visas is a wonderful character. I've always felt that her tragic history was motivational in me trying hard to be the best Jedi I could be in the game, if only to help her.

I miss Visas. I actually gender bend The Exile, so she gets what she deserves, which is unconditional love from another.
Sometimes a way to help the wounded and broken is to have someone the same way, but deep down refuses to let it happen to that person again.

Why would you ever go with a female you can't get Brianna who is arguably the best character. My last run was a Jedi Master with Brianna and Visas as my lightside padawans with Visas on Jedi support.
After watching a few of these videos it really reminds me of why I feel the male exile makes more sense and was a better story. And because I am myself male, I have played through Kotor 2 only twice or thrice as a female exile so I am much more familiar with the male exiles story.

Still to this day her voice hits me like an echo that has traveled across the galaxy. The kotor characters have so much depth than the Disney sequel character. When she uses the meditation chamber for the Last time and she is finally free was so powerful.

I would recommend you to play Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, you don't even need to watch the movies to play those games! + the story and the lore is amazing. I know he does a great job with the videos but the full experience is in playing the games your self.

I agree with you completely regarding Kelly Hu and Sarah Kestleman's performances. This video was well done. You've earned a new subscriber. Your video reminded me of my crackpot, tin-foil theory i had back in 2006. The theory was that, and this is what I believed at the time, that Visas Marr was actually the reformed persona of Master Vash (and also the results of years of torture from Nihilus).

Visas Marr is a fascinating character from KOTOR like Meetra Surik and I really enjoy these videos. I was also curious if the way Visas Marr could see through the force was similar to how the Bendu taught Kanan Jarrus how to see through the force in season 3 of Rebels? I know you can't do a review for every episode of Clone Wars but I'd like to hear from you what you thought of the last episode. George

Visas, a Miraluka, that is smart like Kreia, but she doesn't have the courage to do what she does. She's interested in Onderon's political situation and moreover she is the only one that resisted Nihilus... impressive! But what I don't know is, in which category does she fit? Jedi, Dark Jedi, Grey Jedi or a simple strong Force Sensitive?
She was a Jedi in the end.
Visas was my favorite when I first played Kotor 2, and the miraluka soon became one of my favorite star wars species. Definitely a much better character than any in the new trilogy, and that has nothing to do with gender. All of the story arcs in Kotor 2 are much more fulfilling than any seen in the films. That's kind of disappointing. The filmmakers would rather show us flashy effects, child-friendly aliens, and characters as deep as the poster board they print them on. Look back in the Old Republic, because this is how you tell a Star Wars story...

@@100StarWars what you said is part of a big flaw in kotor 2. Being to complex you need a guide to get what you want out of the game because it isnt explained or hinted at how to get it. Oops you didnt have this specific character in your party, saying this specific line to him/her so now you are limited in the quest or you dont even get it out right. Missing out of getting atton and mira to become jedi because i enjoy having visas and hk 47 in my party alot of the time. Vastly disappointed in kotor 2, especially after hearing People saying how Great it was, they forgot to say that they had to play it several times and reading up on guides before geting a good experience.

@@100StarWars Dont twist my words, that not what i said. U can play the game several times and still not get what you want unless you consult a guide. Otherwise you have to step onto a planet, make a save, change out every character during different conversations until you get the right character at the right conversation to get what you want. Imagine loading a save 4 times for a single conversation to try out every character until you get the right character for the conversation that will gain you a specific thing. And do that over and over again during the game for 100s of conversations. You cannot say that that is good game design, the game should let you know of these things, good things. Not a guide online. A hint, a popup, a conversation where i have lets say handmaiden and she tells me that if you get bar dur he can look at this tech thing to open it for you. No such things exists so you simply miss out or you have to watch guides to spoil the entire game for you before playing it. it is not good game design and you know it.
These stories work well in the games. But if they ever get acted out in a live performance, you have to make it a Rated-R movie, there is no other way.
-Galen Marek see's his father die at the hands of Vader, and the traumatic event didn't end there, he abducted him, gaslit him, and his father's killer groomed him as his slave
-Visas survives a genocide of her people, and get's abducted by the mass murderer...
Dude this stuff is just CREEPY, if you try to make a movie out of it. The B.S. that has always been said that Star Wars is for children, will never work with those 2 storylines. Realistically Disney will try to butcher the story to make it more family friendly. Which would suck.

I'd like to ask a question, Where do we have the proof that Visas was tasked with rebuilding the jedi order? I'm trying to find that so I can tell someone that she deserves the Jedi tag in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, but they keep on saying she was never a jedi.

Disney must realize that KOTOR has the greatest fan following of all Star Wars stories. Why they choose not to bring this era of the SW franchise into the movie saga is beyond understanding. A series that would draw the greatest audience in history. Dummies!

Wait, so via Nihlus, Visas now viewed the Force that sought the order of death and stillness as true, whereupon previously she viewed it as the Force which keeps the living bound and in relation? Why or how could she have rejected her previous beliefs in favor of something so opposite? Was she not happy with how she interacted with the Force, or did she now believe the Force was death? Did she become enraptured with Nihilus and maybe fall in love with him?
