I don’t know why today’s cars cannot be designed like how they did in the past. Circular brake lights are rare these days. Look at the Honda Accord today. Hardly see any on the roads. Maybe Honda intend to make it very exclusive. Such that if u buy Accord today, u feel special. Honda should hire back the old designers.
Honda actually hired the young people back then, so that they could show their talents rather than the older folks who wanted to stick to the basics. thats the back bone of honda + motorsports involvement
I'm in New Zealand, I rode in one when I was 16 with the licence plate 0B00ST. It really instilled something inside of me that day, exactly like your story. I'm 33 now and have just purchased my first home. I know exactly what my next purchase is going to be now I have secured property. The mighty Euro R!
I've always loved the design of the CL7/CL9 and wanted one for the longest time. I just picked up an 08 CL9 mint with 40k miles. Can't wait to start modding it!
i've owned turbo jzx's (manual and autos) i even owned plenty of RSK b4 subaru's but I really enjoyed driving the CL7 euro R's. nice sleek shape, beautiful steering feel and the crisp shifting gearbox. The vtec cross over was so much fun. the prices of these are going up again in NZ. need to get my hands on another one.
I’m trying to get a daily first car CL7 and debating if I should get a 145k km vs 100k km mileage car in which the 100k km mileage car cost $30k HKD more . Not sure if I should stick to the high mileage one as it will depreciate less anyways and not worth it for the added money for 45k km more mileage. What do you think? The 100k of course looks better with some mugen parts and 145k has a Js racing exhaust.
Super good looking car.. such similarities to the TL-S (especially in kinetic blue). Also love it when TSX drivers swap out the acura badges for honda ones 👍
@@yabadabadoobs Bought her in showroom and have been keeping up with all the maintenance. People abuse their cars and wonder why they don't work. The '07 TL-S will run forever with a responsible adult at the helm.
They were released in Japan/Europe 1st as Honda accords, mines a tsx an it says 2003 on the door plate, buh my registration/title says 2004 🤷🏽♂️🙋🏽♂️ manual tsx 242,xxx miles
4:49 I'm sorry, but the Accord Saloon, has the worst entrance from the boot to passenger seat area I've seen. I got the 2.4 liter k24, it's just fucking awful. You can glide some long things but only if the width can fit through that space. They should've done something similar to the Toyota Avensis. Hell, even a Toyota Celica can haul more stuff than the Accord....

This generation Accord was ahead of its time

reflash, exhaust headers and CAI are cheap mods and make a great difference
40k and mint? Leave it stock.. so rare...find something that needed tlc to mod instead

Can't believe I'm gonna own one real soon myself

I wanna know where you got that aftermarket dash for the stereo. I would appreciate if you could provide the link for me to buy?

Have Honda fix the roughtness when seating on the back seat?
This car handles amazing. It’s a living go kart with good power.
I love this ducktail, can someone share link to same/similar one?
These were first built in 2003 for the 2004 model year, la.
I have the exact same engine on my 97 integra. Lots of fun!
Great review of the CL7/9, just fyi rear suspension is multi link not double wishbone
Wheels perfect
Where can this car be rented at? Please share link. Thanks
Hi M.J23. The rental is in the description!😉
Wow where to rent this? I miss driving a manual
It seems like the colour of the car originally is either gunmetal or silver. The blue on the outside is a new paint shop :)
nope its from factory
@@boruto2127 Nop, even from factory should be blue as well. But this car has a silver engine bay which is the original colour.
im pretty sure theyre all silver no? i didnt know they paint matched to the interior of the engine bay@@maxxibro

That's insane, why make such rules?
Honda Accord EuroR is sick!!

Check the Channel Kiwicarlife
Great content from this accord generation 👍
its a freaking accura.
How is this a 2002? This should be 2004 or 2005

buy the break version if you want to carry things, I know it's small but I knew this when I bought the cl9
Buy the estate then!
