    Great advice, I went for DZR12’s to cover pretty much every scenario, but they fall into a similar bracket nether the less!

      @@opaz. … question wich one are the wooden cabinets is it the Yamaha DSR? Is that the best one out of the series I believe it’s DBR, DXR & DSR correct me if im wrong thanks!

    • @opaz.
      @opaz.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, DSR. The DZR are also wooden!

      @@opaz. … so the Yamaha DSR 15’s would be in the same line as my QSC Kw15’s right and are the DSR speakers still a good buy because they are becoming hard to find these days!

      No. The DZR is the best. The DSR are dated and the DZR are far far superior. The DSR were good in their day but 2022, the DZR is the one to have

    These are not beginner speakers by any stretch of the imagination and most definitely not a bedroom class speaker. These are pro grade active speakers used by many professional companies for DJ, band, and sound reinforcement use! Nice review but let's understand the difference between beginner and pro grade speakers. Let's also not sell these short of professional speakers. Thanks for sharing.

    Is it good to only use one?

      @opaz.  ปีที่แล้ว

      Bedroom use, house party use or even as a dj monitor at an event it's ok to use only one

      Just tested them. The hiss is negligible, hardly hear it. Once you play music, it's just music you hear. The cooling fan is louder than the hiss

    Hey buddy, I have the CP8s. How do you think they compare to these?
    Thanks and Cheers!

      Great speakers you have Adam, a good choice and very useful speakers to own. I have listened to them.The CP is a lite version of the K8 and falls a little short on build, spec, connectivity and overall performance. Gaining though on overall value and also lighter in weight.
      Your CP might be the equivalent of the Yamaha DB range which is a more budget choice. The DXR8 has more power, it's more robust and is superior in several areas. Ultimately the DXR8 will deliver a superior sound throughout the range and go louder maintaining it
